"In a widely criticised measure this afternoon, Kanzas governor Matthias King signed a treaty with the Southeast Asian free trade pact giving the United State full membership. One of the most attacked measures of the treaty is one that removes all borders between the landlocked, heartland state that has over two billion dollars of annual trade with ASEAN and the highly populated region bordering the Pacific and Indian oceans.
