OOC: Yeah, I had my suspicions about this one when I first got the tg. Seph, I really need to see some proof that they have or are developing WMD's. And nuclear brinkmanship tends to put every country on edge.

IC:

The People's Moot of Andolai would like to express its concern over the recent moves against Corrheia. Additionally, we strongly encourage the government of Sephiroth to not make threats regarding the deployment or use of nuclear weapons. It has been shown throughout history that when someone pulls a gun, it can go off accidentally no matter what the original intent may have been.

We are also currently cutting off all trade with Sephiroth until this situation is peacefully resolved.

Finally, we propose that an independent commission investigate the accuracy of these claims regarding WMD's.

In response to the Sephrioth's nuclear brinkmanship policies of threatening and bullying, and the tracked launch of stealth bombers to strike a weaker foe, West Scotland has THREATENED to order air strikes to be launched against Sephrioth in the order of 800 air launched cruise missiles at key logistical and radar installations, as well as military deployment areas to significantly halt its ability to communicate, coordinate, and deploy.

This is a warning to halt actions until further diplomacy has been established.

If both nations would agree to a cease-fire, and order their forces to stand down, then The Serene Republic of Andolai would be happy to hold talks regarding a peaceful resolution of this matter.

We ask you to stand down as well. Our forces are not in action; they are simply on standby and ready to launch.

We will not participate in peace talks, because we are not the nation in question - however, we will observe them. The victim of the attacks is the nation in question; the one that needs to be in the peace talks.

So long as Sephrioth does not drop a nuclear weapon on the victim right now, we will not glass it in return.
