The sleek hull of the Blackstone Fortress crackles with deadly energy as it powers up. A horrible red lance momentarily bridges the gap between the Talisman and the earth, searing the atmosphere and boiling seas as it drives into the heart of the planet. Over the next hour, the world slowly begins breaking apart, its crust shattered by the power of the Talisman. Oceans of magma replace the surface water across the world and entire continents burn. When the fires die and the last of the atmosphere has bled away, little remains of the world except glassy mountain-sized rocks.
