Today, June 18th, I recieved the following report on my desk:

Over the past years, as you are aware, the Energy Research Department has, among other things, been researching solar energy and methods of improving its effeciency. Today I am proud to report that our research is complete [temporarily]. By combining an intricate system of electric motors and generators, all connected to a complex gearing system, we are allowed to effectively multiply the output of any solar panel. By converting the solar energy into electric energy by using our recently designed solar panels which are 50% effecient [a great improvement upon recent standards], and then using an electric motor to convert that electric energy into mechanical energy and spread the mechanical energy via properly proportioned gears to multiple electric generators, we increase the output of a singe solar panel one hundred times. I expect this to completely render any form of electricity generation completely useless.[/code:1:c1092373ab]

In response to the excellent news, the government of Opal Isle requests a few things from the world community. At the moment, the blueprints for the actual construction of a SolarMech Generation Station are held in one of Opal Isle's most heavily guarded military fortifications, and will remain there until the following requests have been satisfied:
The United Nations passes a resolution requiring the use of SolarMech Generation Stations in replace of formerly contemporary power plants, as SolarMech generates no pollution.
All nations who wish to purchase the plans to a SolarMech Generation Station sign an agreement which shall be transmitted shortly.

By owning a SolarMech Generation Station, you agree to the terms as stated in this SMEULA, which are subject to change without notice. The crime of ignoring any of the guidelines should be punished by The United Nations, The Coalition of Protecting SolarMech Patents, and/or other SolarMech SMEULA signees. By signing your name at the bottom of this document, you signify that you have read this SMEULA, agreed to the terms, which for you, are subject to change, with notice. You also signify that you were one of the first to purchase and install a SMEULA, signifying your leadership in leading the world to a greener Earth. By signing the SMEULA, you may also join The Coalition of Protecting SolarMech Patents, simply by enforcing protection of SolarMech patents in your nation by your government.

Terms of Use:
You may not sell SolarMech plans or details to any other nation, unless written consent is given by the Opal Isle Energy Research Department.
You may not sell SolarMech plans to nations who do not promote a greener Earth for the future.
You may not steal SolarMech technology. We'll cut off your hands.
You may not implement SolarMech's improved effeciency techniques in power plants other than the SolarMech Generation Station.
You may promote the purchase of SolarMech technology.
You may promote the movement towards a greener Earth.
You may promote any UN resolutions that are environmental friendly.
You may promote UN resolutions which require the implementation of SolarMech technology.

No. A few reasons why.

1) SolarMech Industries wishes to keep its products out of military equipment for as long as possible. SolarMech Industries does not promote war.

2) SolarMech Industries has not perfected the minuatarized, mobile version of a SolarMech Generation Station yet. Research continues. Funding assistance is welcome and encouraged.
