The UTA has issued orders to Begin mining of several new systems in the Maelstrom :

TNN: The UTA Congress today approved a measure allowing the new colonization and Mining of worlds in an area of space called the maelstrom Several planets will be included in this :

Convoys are being dispatched to the Designated Planet’s and will arrive in a couple of days ..

The convoys began to glide out over in to space as they warped out with there escorts people on the convoys began to prepare for a hard life in the new sectors and on the new worlds they weren’t used to the idea of going in to frontier territory

A few hours later the convoys began to move out of UTA space towards the maelstrom people on board were getting shaky the captain was even shaky they had never gone out this far in to uncharted and Anomalous space . One of the lead ships began to single the others to go around pockets of disturbed space and gravitons fields that were every place it was close and dangerous in that area a lot of the ships had to form a column just to get threw some tight spots a few got damaged buy nebulas and anomaly’s

The ships sensors and deflector arrays were beginning to act weird echo’s and other things coming back on sensors and comm. Channels the captain yelled and demand an answer to what was happened the ops officer replied and said some distortion and nebulas are causing problems sir . helm and others began reporting malfunctions but they were keeping on course in the narrow striates asteroid fields were all around so were stormy red and blue nebulas the escorts stopped and started to turn and scan with a narrow scan beam port of the convoy then started to move again

OCC: Well that map doesn't help at all. I don't see any of those systems.

IC: The Skeelzanian Combine Advanced Resource Refiners would like to remind the Fedral Union that any incursion into the Gamma Quadrant will be interpeted as an attack on SCARR, and warrant a full retaliatory strike by Combine vessels.

The Harakoni Warhawks would like to inform Skeelzania that any offensive action taken against the Federal Union will spark a reprisal from the 435th and 607th Harakoni Air Divisions.

In addition to this, The Harakoni Warhawks would like to give the convoys and Escort of Battleships and also 1,000 of my best workers to help with the mining operation. All we ask for is a trade route between out nations. What say you to this.

(alpha beta 6 is just over the border on the alpha quadrant like only 1/2 ly or space in to the alpha quadrant )

The transports slowly moved across along the stormy and violent areas finally emerging near the alpha Beta 6 system the captain still a bit shaky about settling so close to the disputed gamma quadrant areas ordered only a few ships to move over the area . 2 Construction ships began moving along and started to set up an assembly that looked like a star base the other colony ships began to launch pods and equipment to an area of the planet (it will take 1 ns year to complete all of this )

As, the ships of The Fedral Union landed a vast fleet of starships belonging to the Harakoni Warhawks emerged from the warp (another dimension) and halted above the planets. With a huge flash drop pods blasted away from the larger ships and hurtled towards the surface of Alpha Beta 6.

Due to the seemingly increased pirate activity in the maelstrom a carrier battle groupe has been dispatched to defend the out post under construction

(Btw one of my normal carrier battle groupes are )

A small UTA Fleet mean wile began chasseing 2 cloaked raider vassals witch raided a small convoy en route to the new colony the captain said keep on them!
All the ships began scanning the area like mad a few scanning behind moons a few ships went out of the systems to snatch the 2 ships

Kriegorgrad would like to ask, as we are not a space faring nation, if you could bring back some powerful metals, suitable for armour. If you can do this, we would be grateful and will be able to give you a large amount of Uranium.
