The Federation fo Teatroia thanks GZ for its generous offer of assistance. And as many more treaties as we can think up.

Perhaps, until we have defeated the Shivan menace, each member nation must contribute one Capital ship, or several smaller ships, to combat this menace, and when the Shivans have been destroyed, they will be returned.

Oh, and, the Federation of GZ and the Empire of UA are at war with the Shivans. The EUA's Homeworld was destroyed, and they are currently wandering. He hasn't accepted my invitation to settle temporarily on Atheos (Ah Tey Oos) the GZ Homeworld.

The general idea of the job would be to run the foreign (i.e. non-Federation) diplomacy and contact the rest of the USF for input on their positions on different issues of diplomacy. We could also possibly run larger Federation meetings , but that's just a secondhand idea. You could name the position Minister of State(s)(?) and I have a character name for the position if its cool : Barian Ecalia.

The ESUS Senate is located in a nebula several hundred lightyears from Sol.

The assimilation into the ESUS will involve every member of the USF being tested as per the standard ESUS entrance RP test. Those who hold titles in the USF will be awarded similar titles in the ESUS.

The USF must accept the ESUS constitution, which is located at http://esus.illspirit.co.uk/forums/viewtopic.php?t=2 - if you do not accept it, you may not join if the merger goes ahead. The constitution will not be edited to accomodate the USF, unless after admittance a member submits a change to be voted upon by all other members.

We will retain our name, the ESUS, and we will grow by approximately 25% through this merger. The merger will grant access to the ESUS forums, located at http://esus.illspirit.co.uk/

Protection of all ex-USF nations will be guarenteed by the already 30+ strong ESUS military pacts. Voluntary sharing of technology between members is also common, as are storefront discounts. Joining the ESUS preserves your national sovereignty - the entire point of the constition is to make sure that it cannot be impeded upon.

Titles will probably be awarded like this:

USF Supreme Military Commander becomes Director of Ground Operations, working with the ESUS Director of Space Operations,

Well, you have to factor in that to destroy Minagoroshi, (Heh. Now you know how I feel whenever I have to type your nation's name! LoL) you have to destroy EVERY last Hitogoroshi, the individual nanites that make her up.

She's consumed planets, converting thier entire mass into more Hitogoroshi. Her nanites are spread all over the place. It would take thousands of years to hunt each one down. And that's assuming they don't keep producing more. ^_^

The ESUS is probably the most powerful alliance of space nations out there. I don't really know much more than that, and the Shivans are an alien race bent on destruction of the Human race. They lived in subspace, but their own nanites chased them out. I recently lost a world to them, but Thank goodness for the Genesis torpedoe and German scientists...

These are entities that have had thousands of years of computer expertise. The Unification operates at the equivallent of millions of petaflops per second. They've exceeded humanity by gaining sentient thought at a speed modern computer experts can barely dream of.

Besides. Neo-Mekantan computer systems are alien to Terran-ish science. Unless you had a chance to analyze Mekantan programming, you wouldn't be able to create a suitable virus. It's the same principle that viruses made for Windows don't affect Linux so much. And the only other place you could get Mekantan programming would be Mekanta. And they'll blast you for asking. ^_^

A federation, by definition, is simply a bunch of parties (in this case, nations) who band together under a loose set of laws or such. Right now, member nations do not need to contribute vessels to the Federation, and there really isn't a central USF territory, so there would be nothing to defend. However, you could abide by mutual defense and send ships to whomever was at war, should they ask for the aid. Right now, the UA would co-ordinate all war efforts should any other organization/nation declare war on the USF itself, not just a member nation. If a central space station and/or world is devoted entirely to the USF, we could then create a defensive position.
