Just today, two Tyrandis battleships fired at a Mortiorchis dock, killing two fishermen. Mortiorchis responds by immediately declaring war on Tyrandis.

Well, it was funnier before you edited your post. You originally declared war on West Scotland because of Tyrandis, which is like the UK declaring war on Germany because of Japan. You sneaky editor person you.

OOC: WTF?! You never TG'ed me, I never had any vessels near your nation (All of my naval power is in the Indian Ocean), and I never had any idea there was this thread until you posted in that newbie's "I DECLARE WAR ON YOU ALL!!!!!1111!!!!11"
For that matter, you can't field that many aircraft. Besides, I've got SAMs with IFF recognition (anything not transmitting Tyrandis frequencies = DEAD) everywhere.
Therefore, the "attack" by my forces is ignored.
