An AI turned away from the scene of some of the pirate leaders captured when Mekanta took the Steurlyng system. He turned away from the leaders of the pirates who were tortured to death.

"... Well... We broke our last record. This one lasted four solid days before dying." One of the two NeoSyokusyu pointed a long tentacle at a male.

"This one lasted four and a half." The other said, wrapping two tentacles around the cold neck of a female before breaking it with one swift movement. Meaningless, as she had died hours ago, but satisfying nonetheless for one frustrated with organics.

"Why not sell the remainer?"

Of the 40,574 pirates taken from the Steurlyng system, only 35,500 remained. Half of those were from the Mekantan surprise attack on thier bases, and the other half were Mekanta's... playthings... Satisfying a frustration with organics that had no other release...

The Federated Stellar Republics of Wormia is deeply vexed at this clearly blatant and inhumane action. If the nation/AI of Mekanta requires "storage" for violators of law, then Wormia has exactly 65 uninhabited planets that could be used for penitentiary.

Several Mekantan transports decended lazily into the atmosphere, protected by several aerospace capable Mechaform warriors.

"We have come to deliver your prisoners. Deal with these ones."

The transport bottoms open once they are on the ground, and when they rise, all but 500 of the female prisoners are trapped in a large steel cage, shouting. Judging by the looks, apparently Mekantan has no policy of clothing prisoners.

The remainder are taken to the palace, where they are uncerimoniously dumped outside the main gate in a pile of human flesh. The Mechaform look over the pile, the prisoners knowing full well what these killing machines were capable of...
