OOC: This is the cease fire concerning Counterpoint....

IC:

*In the middle of the lake, at secret co-ordinates, the 6th fleet scans the horizen for any incoming threats. On the Carrier OSX, deep beneath the flight deck, a confrence room is finnished... a large oaken desk has been brought in for this conference to discuss the fate of Counterpoint*

*On the flight deck a C-130 lands with edenstein markings on it. General onotov exits the plane, and steps onto the deck, she looks around and tightens up her overcoat as two sailors come up to her*

Sailor: General, welcome aboard the Carrier OSX
Onotov: Thank you, *she starts to get dizzy as the carrier pitches up and down* Just get me inside...

*they escort her inside of the carrier as the C-130 takes off for home*

::The Manarthian diplomat, the Deputy Undersecratry of LETI Relations, one Reginald K. Buttersworth, is flown in to the Edenstein ship onboard a modified "Little Bird" helicopter. Setting down, Buttersworth dusts off his tweed jacket and jumps to the ground. Turning he reguards the pilot::

Buttersworth: And that's why Manarth is going to be involved in the rebuilding process, not because we want to or because we can afford it, but because if we don't we'll loose even more face in this region.

Pilot: ::watching him walk away:: What a creep.

::An Andaluciaen Mk. 17 Helicopter lands on the deck of the Carrier OSX, a man in a brown overcoat disembarks, he is Admiral Harold Trebouldt, an experienced naval officer and Diplomat::

::A sailor runs up to the Admiral and helps guide him to the proper entrance::

Adm. Trebouldt: And I just go up the hall to find the meeting room?

Sailor: Yes, it will be on your left.

Trebouldt: Thank you.

::As Trebouldt enters the room, he wonders about what will be decided here, he was surprised at the instructions he received from the Supreme Consul, and he wonders what the other delegates will be saying...::

*The Counterpoint Delegate Major Thomas Andrews lands onboard the carrier, as he lands the crew goes about their buisness but give him a glossy look, knowing full well that because of his government many of their friends had been killed.. Major Tom walks into the carrier under military escort from 2 Edenstein marines, he sits down at the table with the other three delegates and then drops his briefcase down on the table*

Tom: Shall we get this started?

Reginald K. Buttersworth: Yes, let's.

::He pulls out three peices of paper, and hands them to the other diplomats, and then grabs one for himself::

Wereas: Counterpoint is seen to be fully defeated at the hands of Edensteinian forces, with aid from the United Republics of Manarth, and the soverign nation of Andaluciae.

Wereas: Edenstein/Manarth/Andaluciae, hereafter known as the Victors, have fought a fair and just war against the opressive regeme of Counterpoint.

Wereas: Emperess Jessica, under the current system of Counterpointian law, is unchecked as a dictator and unfit to continue leadership of Counterpoint as a modern, peaceful nation.

Let it be resolved that: Emperess Jessica will retain custody of the Empire, but in name only, and a governing body of no less than 25 members, elected by the people and approved by the Emperess (in a purely cerimonial fassion) shall be given the rights of the executive and legislative branches of government, while a judiciary, elected by that body shall be formed, including no less than 3 "high judges".

Be it further resolved that: The forces of Counterpoint shall be limited as follows. No more than 5 aircraft carriers, none exceeding the approximate of a fully loaded Nimitz in displacement when fully loaded. No battleships of any kind. Only 12 Wings of Heavy bombers. 6 Submarines. And a standing army and marine corps of 100,000.

Be it further resolved that: Counterpoint may not develope any weponry of mass destruction, aside from biological weaponry used to form live vaccinations. Nuclear waste must be disposed of through Edensteinian, Manarthian or Andalucian intermediaries.

Be it further resolved that: Manarth, Edenstein, and Andaluciae form a peace treaty with the nation of Counterpoint, and that said nation refrains from entering war with the victor nations forevermore. Edenstein and Manarth reserve the right to occupy portions of Counterpoint, relevant to the defence of Edenstien forces along the Counterpoint/Edenstein boarder, and to ensure cooperation with this treaty. Counterpoint will be paid the sum of 100,000 guildars a month (appr. $180,000) in compensation for use of their land.

Be it further resolved that: All debts between the victor nations and Counterpoint be dissolved, so as to aid in the recovery of the Counterpointian ecconomy. In addition, tarrifs on imports shall be reduced to zero from the victor nations, in order for their already strong industries to be more able to help bring the standard of living back to Counterpoint.

We do attest to this treaty:

(Here is a spot for the delegates to sign)

Buttersworth: I think this is an appropriate treaty. Anyone have any imput?

::He looks at the Edensteinian and Andaluciaen diplomat, ignoring Major Andrews::
