Recent studies conducted by both the Imperial Joint Strategic Command and independant groups found that the Imperial military is woefully undermanned for a nation with the economy and the size of the Imperium. It was found that the Imperium could sustain a military growth that included the doubling of army and marine divisions and an increase of five times the airframes the air force currently fields.

Emperor Alexander has taken this to heart and ordered the gradual increase of the armed services to the quoted levels. This is to take place over the next 30-60 years and is expected to cause a considerable increase in the economy due to new manufacturing that will include factories, armoured vehicles, and small arms.

It would be helpful to include the current numbers if all you are saying is "double" and "quintuple".

I currently field 102 army and marines divisions and will be increasing that number to 204 while decreasing my house units to 30 divisions. I field as many aircraft as the US (a little over 6,000 airframes) and plan to jump that to the 30,000 mark. My navy will stay the same because of the expense of my ships (although I'm currently waiting for Freethinker to finish the CVN I commissioned and will probably end up buying some Doujins.)]

[OOC: And that is a LOT of legwork. It's been a while since I fully updated my military with everything I've ordered or built.]

OOC: That just means you are horribly unorganized. I have kept my entire military stored in a single excel document since August.
