Former Sovateca

The king was being briefed on the situation.
"Your highness, there is a military buildup by the Invading Warriors. Many tanks of high quality plus well armed troops, many planes, and other vehicles. Our army is no match for their millions. Because of the New Darby treaty signed after the last war, with the Sovatecs, we cannot arm our army to match. We need to call for help from our allies." The Chief of Staff sat down.
"Your majesty," began the National Security Advisor, "We need to evacuate non-security personnel from that section of the country. Including New Tel Aviv."
"We can't do that!" said the Minister of Defense. "It would show us to be weak!"
"From how I understand it, we are weak." said King Yehoshuah, "I am now ordering the evacuation of the entire section of east Former Sovateca. Including New Tel Aviv. Move the army to that section."
"Yes, your majesty." came the chorus of his advisors.
That night, the king was to begin and end services at the National Synagogue.
"It is true what some of you have heard, people of Former Sovateca." said the king. "We are evacuating the eastern section of the country. We are going to call our allies for assistance. Now join with me in the Sh'ma.
The entire asssembly stood as they began to sing the Sh'ma.
"Sh'ma Yis-ra-el
A-do-nai E-lo-hey-nu
A-don-ai E-chad
Ba-ruch Shem
K'vod Mal-chu-toe
L'olam Va-ed"
"Hear O Israel," recited the audience, "the LORD is our God. The LORD is one. Praised be His name who's glorious Kingdom reigns forever and ever. Amen."
The evacuation commenced after services concluded.
