Race for Prime Minister

The election for Prime Minister has arrived. Current Prime Minister Fred Skujic-Magar Jr. has chosen not to run for a second term. Whoever wins the election will be offically sworn into office on August 1st. It is down to 2 candidates from the 2 major parties.

The candidates are....

Dr. Josephine McQueen
Age-52
Party: Conservative
Homestate: Wilmington
Background- Current Professor of Political Science at Wilmington State University
Issues
Education: *Plans to make college more affordable
*Against standardized testing programs
*Encourages early education programs
*Wants increased funding in the education field
Environment: *Supports uranium mining in the forests of Fletch Island and Northern Wilmington, but wants limits to how many mining facilities there and how large they are
*Plans to make corporations who pollute the land and water to be held responsible for "cleaning up their act"
*Supports clean air emmission standards
Military: *supports limited compulsory military service (every person when they turn 18 that is in good enough physical and mental condition 3 years of mandatory service in the national guard unless they have chosen to serve full time in the military. After the 3 years mandatory service military service is optional)
Business: *Beleives the government should be less restrictive on businesses
Taxes: *wants middle class tax cut
Social Issues: *Beleives in free speech excluding racist and hate filled comment of prejudice in public
*Wants to ban pornography
*Wants more television decency laws
Other: *Wants to repeal the Mandatory Organ Donation Act

Background: Former Mayor of Sporkeric City, served 6 years in the Sporkeric Air Force

Education: *Supports standardized testing programs
*Plans on tax cuts for donating to schools (public or private)
*Beleives in mandatory college
Environment: *Opposes Uranium Mining in Environmentally sensitive areas
*Wants corporations to be held responsible for any pollution they caused
*Highly supports clean air emission acts
Military: *Opposes compulsory military service
*Wants decreased military funding
*Anti-War
Business: *Supports Socialist economic views
Taxes: *Beleives tax cuts for the poor and tax increases for the rich widens the social gap between the rich and poor. Supports tax cuts, but beleives everyone should be obligated to pay the same.
Social Issues: *Wants no restrictions on free speech whatsoever. Beleives in "I don't agree with what you're saying, but I support your right to say it"
*Against banning pornography.
*Opposes TV decency laws.
