OOC- k IDF, i made a special thread just for you

Just minutes ago, the president of Eastrive officially declared war against the people of IDF. News reports are now coming from around the world that the president of IDF has been killed in a suprise attack. His plane was intercepted and shot down somewhere over the atlantic ocean while traveling to New Orleans for the funeral of Premier DuFour. The enemy fighters were seen bearing the symbol of Imperial Eastrive. The 747-400 series had no chance against the superiorly armed fighters, especially since it was flying without escort. It has been reported that there were no survivors....

Eastrive also appealed to its AZA brethren for aid, stating that "we must fight this war together." After the President Archamus (the president of Eastrive) finished with his speech people were seen cheering and running through the streets. All military forces were put on full alert and President Archamus retired to his underground command center at a disclosed position (and antartica is big......).

G&C provides full backing to Eastrive, any military units needed will be given. Its high time somebody stopped IDF's warmongering !

A carrier group is on its way to protect Eastrive:

-1 Nimitiz Class Carriers (with 150 F87's on each and 50 F5-K's)
-4 City Class Destroyers
-3 Ticonderoga Class Cruisers.
-2 General Purpose Gunboats
-2 FFG7 Class Frigates
-2 Virginia Class Attack Submarines
-2 Trident Class Ballistic Missile Submarines

we have deployed the first and second penguin strike force

being from antartica we need to find a way to build a strong military. We have devised a method of strapping explosives to penquins and teaching them (as you would a dolphin) to swim towards an enemy ship and detonate itself. They are almost 100% undetectable, and the warhead they carry is strong enough to destroy most medium armored ships. The only downside to these creatures is that if they are detected, they are very easy to outrun because the weight of the explosive slows them down to almost a crawl.

Good plan! I may send suicide bombers if all goes wrong.

To do all parts to help in the war, we will send naval forces and planes to keep any enemy ships from going through the Gibraltar straights. Allies in Egypt told me they will keep them out of Suez. IDF has all the help it needs in this much larger nation that will help her

I recomend all allied forces base operations against Eastrive from my base in Keruguelen. (north of Antarctica.) I have been developing it for about 50 NS. It has many airfields, bunkers, and areas for ships to dock, and best yet it was dug underground (with the exception of runways which are above ground) It has many SSM and SAM stations that are hidden. This is a good base of operations here

If you read some of my posts in the Moderation forum in the past, I have had run ins with the mods. Posts are edited by the players, not the mods. My President could not have been shot down by you. Even if you attacked him, you would not get by the naval screen that always is set and running AEGIS radar or my fighter protection,

IDF your ORIGINAL post said that your president had left in a 747-400 type civillian aircraft. No fighters or naval or super anti eastrive fighter system where ever mentioned. Also, it's no more of a godmod to say that my planes were in the north atlantic (thats what intellegence operatives are for) and that your forces could instanly travel between greece and antartica. Also, it IS possible for a moderator to edit someones post and the forum to not display it. I hadn't thought that you had edited the post before anyone posted after you, so I was assuming that a moderator changed it for you. That probably isn't true so i'm taking away most of my demands.

IDF, we all know that you changed your post, originally all that you stated was that you were sending your pres in a 747, you didn't mention any fighter cover or naval cover, you can't go back in time and change things so they better suit you. Second, why is it that 300 cruise missles can be launched and blow up a country but we can't shoot down a presidents plane? Doundain, you call us douches but in a span of 5 or 6 hours your fleet somehow made it to antarctica through the very rough seas from where ever it was and you assaulted. Given that my nation is small with about 1 million borderguards and most commercial flights being cancelled, you will not be able to do these assassinations. How will you get to the bases? Israel is a small nation and I have too many security personel for your agents to successfully hide.

are you seriously going to paradrop into antartica? I think that would be a godmod, have you ever even been there? I didn't think so. Maybe you can if you RP 90% of your forces being lost or killed in the drop. And you ask me to RP a war with you, but i'm not allowed to kill people? I don't get it.......

The knights templar's first marine expiditonary force has decided to land in lebaon.... These proud warriors soon passed by ancient castles which there antsistors fought and died for the glory of christendom....yet this time the local arab population has rejoiced in their arrival due to the fact that they came to combat the zionist to the south who have tormented their arab brothers to the south.

This force consist of 80,000 soliders which break up into four divisons. each divison consist of 100 tanks and mechanised infrantry. This force has set up camp near beruit for longistic reasons and created an air strip for ground surport missions and to resuply the expiditonary force.

A few thousand locals have came to join the expidtion ...these forces are unorganised in any traditonal millitary fasion, but are good at serving as guids and translators

OOC: There are actually many flat lands in Antarctica to land on. Where ever you have farms, cities, towns, bases, airports, etc. we can drop on since they are flat land. There are also many areas where paratroopers would easily land on.
