Roger Haroldson, the newly elected President on the Republic of Trusonia took a seat. "Mr. President, there you are, good news, your account is ready for use." Roger Haroldson then stood up and nodded in reply, "Good, I am very pleased at this."

Later that day, Roger bribed the Treasurer and was given five Billion dollars. Roger put it into his account. When Congress asked where the money went, he told them that he had used it for a farming project. However, little did they know that the money he 'borrowed' was a lot more than the ammount the farming project needed.

The Treasurer told President Haroldson that he was going to report him to the Congress so he could assume more power. The Treasurer said he would place it in the news paper, therefore President Haroldson saw the preview of the paper that was about to print.

That day in Congress before the paper was issued, Haroldson issued a Decree saying that Slanderous comments or reports would be punishable by a jail sentence up to 15 years.

It was too late to cancel the print and the Treasurer was reported, he was then placed in jail.

That day Haroldson issued another Decree which said that Congress would have to get his approval to pass a law.

Dear President Haroldson,
I was alarmed to hear about your recent decree requiring your permission prior to Congress's passing of a law. This is an affront to democracy. However, as our nation was founded on a policy of noninterference with the beliefs and practices of other peoples, I shall not refute your right to slur democracy and run your office as you see fit, I shall merely mention my concern at your hamperence of democracy.
Otherwise, I am pleased at your diplomatic invitation to your palace and would like to take you up on the offer. How does next Tuesday sound to you?

Sincerely,
Consul Tso Yuyan
