In addition to the 5th Army,today King John has ordered the 8th Army,the 12th Army,and the 14th Army which will bring the total number of ground troops in this conflict to 3.186 million. The 8th Army is on its way to Slovenia to assist the 1st MD and the 3rd Marine Brigade in holding that area. The 5th and 3rd Armies are holding Austria. The 12th and 14th armies are on their way to Bosnia to assist VL troops.

In Austria the 3rd and 5th armies have secured the area and are beginning to dig in, in preparation for the communist invasion. Elements of the 5th Army have moved into Southern Czech Republic in response from calls for help from local rebels. The people are happy to be free and the Austrian Defense Force which is trained and equipped by Matich is being trained and formed and we speak. We have about 5 million men and women from Austria,Slovakia, Slovenia,and the Czech Republic and other surrounding nations. Planes from the 5th Air Force are patrolling the skies over the area and the 5th Fleet has control of the sea around the Matich Occupation Area. Elements of the 5th Army have also secured Western Slovakia and are continueing to move East.

Credonian Controlled Naval Base, Croatia, Dr_Twist 8:47 pm CST

30 Credonian B-52 bombers and 20 B-1B bombers sat in the hangars fueling up for the first Credonian offensive of the war. The pilots are tense as they sit in the cockpits checking out the aircraft systems on each of their planes.

After thirty minutes , the planes each taxi out to the runway and take off, climbing to an altitude of 45,000 ft, well out of the reach of mig fighter jets. Their mission: carpet bomb the city of Svekesferhervar, where Hogsweattian communist forces are currently stationed, reported by coalition forces currently engaging them at the border. Escorting them to the hungarian border are 100 F-15E Strike Eagles, outfitted with air to surface missiles, to target enemy tanks and troops positions along the Hungarian border.

The Credonian F-15 Strike Eagles break away from the air armada and zero in on the position of Ottoman army forces currently firing at Hogsteattian forces on the border.

"Ottoman forces, this is Credonian Fighter Pack One Niner inbound to your position, ETA 2 minutes, hold your position on the border, airstrikes on enemy positions imminent" says the flight leader of the group to the Ottoman army forces near the Hungarien border engaging commie forces.

Meanwhile, the armada of bombers fly across the sky, blanketing the sky with white puffy streaks coming from each engine of the bombers. Each bomber carries two 1,000 pound fuel air bombs in addition to their normal armament. Once over their target, they release their bomb loads over the city, filling the sky with ordinance, waiting to wreak havoc on the forces on the ground in the city.

OOC: this is one hell of a way to begin combat ops eh?

BTW, Biological and Chemical weapons have already been used once on VL, but nukes wont be used.

in a gesture of support for credonia, the goverment of Tar is commiting troops to this war.
500,000 men and women and their support will be transported to credonia, then transported to wherever they are needed. also an undisclosed amount of money will be lent to credonia to assist with his war effort.

At 0645 hours…Using Sympathizers…VL High Command got the coordinates for several hidden Communist Artillery Positions…Within a short period of time…A massive artillery barrage began thundering out shells at a fierce pace…The Opposing lines disappeared in minute explosions and dust clouds…The shelling continued for the better part of 48 continuous hrs…Finally it ended…and the only thing that could be heard was the Thump Thump of Attack Choppers as they flew over in damn near unending waves…Finally after nearly 60 hrs of continuous combat ..the VL positions went quiet…As Command sent out LRRP teams to estimate damages…The scene seen from the command post showed torn up ground…Where a small rolling hilltop once stood…

Finally word went out…and a Lone VL Mechanized Cohort began moving out into Bulgaria…Approaching the scene of the intense barrage…

It already seems That Moldova has fallen quickly by Soviet troops and Romania is basically almost under our control except for area's in the carpathian mountains controlled by capitalist Dr Twistian militia. SO far shelling is still continueing on the militia while soviet spetsnaz troops are being transported into the mountains to clear caves and hiden bases. So far it seems RF forces have no exactly made contact with foriegn powers but things will quickly change.

So far militia and their families have been rounded up and placed in lines. Commissars were authorized to interrogate and then execute all capitalist terrorists. However some communist friendly citizens have been giving us info on the where abouts of militia groups.

Russian Aicraft have now been dispatched into the hotspots in the region. 120 Su-27's and 200 Mig-29's were dispatched to encounter enemy aircraft in locations in austria and slovakia. 30 Tu-95's were dispatched towards albania to bombard enemy lines. They were back by 40 Su-37 aircraft.

The operator jolted awake.

'How many soldier?'

'Upwards of a thousand sir. They are bombing Polish positions west of Konise.'

The operator he knew that he had but minutes to act to avert disaster.

'Scramble the MiG 31's in the area. Are any SAM's in range?'

'Negative sir.'

'Shit. Well, continue with the operation.'

'Very good sir.'

In the major city's of the Slovak Republic, airports sprang into life as 822 MiG 31's engines roared. Accross the border, in the Ukraine, double that ammount were scrambled.

The operative sat back, exhausted.

'They will not survive this day.'

Because of Certain Issues Being Brought up i have Decided to Freeze the RP for 24 Hours, We need info From both sides involved to put an official front line in this war, as so far it has become confusing for who is exactly where in this war.

Any Moves done during the Freeze will be Ignored by both sides, Both Sides have 24 Hours to give me Information. If you are late giving in Information that information will be Ignored unless there is a Specific Reason for it or it doesn't Directly Change the RP in any way.

In the air, 2 AWACS alerted near airbases that 120 Su-27's and 200 Mig-29's had been spotted nearly 40 miles from the naked, undefended AWACS. Escorts and intercepts were called in.

200 F-18 from 3 airbases all within 60 miles from the AWACS along with 180 F-15's have taken off, and heading towards the enemy planes currently being tracked by AWACS.

30 Miles from the targets, the F18's fire Medium ranged A to A AIM-120's

They are inbound to destroy the entire enemy contingemeny of enemy planes. The pilots prepare their AIM-9 sidewinders and 30mm Cannons for dogfights.

OCC: No there is a Major Problem after talking to CP, The RP is Frozen until it is sorted, Please Talk to you Side leader's to sort your Information, So if u are With CP and RF, Talk to CP, if u are with Credonia and Allies talk to Credonia, The Information needs to be compiled to make an official front line to work off atm. Also Pedaphiliac, Everything done in this 24 Hours is Ignored so hold on and wait for it 2 end.

OOC: IN, a movement of that large amount of troops would have been picked up and tactical aircraft would be hitting your column like crazy m8! Unfortunately i havnt RP'd my aircraft arriving because the timing is still screwed up. The engagement that we are RPin happened on the 2nd or third day of the war well that was my assumption, due to that ive only got a handful of airstrips under my control! Hmmmm.

Albanian Railroad

The gunner on the lead HMMWV was hit by bullets seconds before an RPG smacked into the right front hand side of the vehicle. The gunner was killed outright and the driver and passenger were badly wounded as the vehicle slid out of control and hit a small wall.
The fire began to spread over the entire car as the men struggled to get out, the two in the back got out and started helping the wounded men out when a bullet thudded into one of their legs, dropping them to the ground. They crawled away towards the drainage ditch as Captain Jelfs and his men advanced further towards them. Two medics rushed on and began treating the mens wounds as ammo in the HMMWV began to cook off.

The second car feared little better, the driver was hit in the shoulder after a bullet penetrated the glass which caused the car to veer out of control. The gunner with his Mark 19 40mm Rapid firing grenade launcher was thrown left and triggered off a shot that impacted close to the train virtually on the spot where the smoke trail had come from. With three of the four tires flat and being riddled with bullets they began to fall back, the third car swinging off the road and firing at enemy positions as they did so, covering the retreat.


In the ditch Captain Jelfs heard the HMMWV's pulling back. He signalled for the first SAW gunner to come up front.

"Move over to that house with Porter and Milner and take up a firing position. Dont give your position away until i say." he tapped him on the head as he moved off down the ditch at a crouched run towards the small stone house. The other two men with him had their M16's, sight covers flicked open along with a single M203 and an assortment of grenades.
Jelfs turned back to his Company.

"First squad base of fire this position. Second on me. Third follow straight up with second using four as a fire support for your side of the advance."


First squad began moved up the side of the dicth so that they were using it as a trench and began firing rounds at the enemy positions, 200 yards infront of them. Some of the heavy weapons guys had decided to keep their M60's instead of upgrading to the M249 as others had. The set up the bipods and began laying down suppressing fire, ammunition expediture didnt matter.

One of the men upon being ordered to by the squad commander, unslung his LAW 60, now used against unarmoured vehicles and troops instead of tanks which it could barely penetrate. He popped up and let off the rocket, dropping back down immediately, and throwing the empty tube to the ground.

Jelfs also popped up, nearly loosing his sunglasses, and saw mortars landing behind the enemy positions. He keyed up his radio.

"Fire Support this is Alpha Six, your rounds are dropping 100 behind. Suggest altering fire." he said as two medics rushed past carrying one of the wounded from the HMMWV.

"Request MEDEVAC immediatley sir we have a critical coming your way."


Anderson was back on the hill, looking down on the battle. He could clearly see the men crouch running with a strecher inbetween them.

"Roger that Captain." he flipped frequencys. "Hotel Six, this is Dangerous Six, we have a critical casualty, requesting medevac blackhawk Sir."


Back at Regimental CP, Colonel Hayton had been joined by the Divisional Commander with Corps Commander on his way in in a few hours.

"Roger that Major, Medevac frequency is two-niner-zero, Over"

"Acknowledged." again he changed "Medevac bird this is Dangerous Six are you reading me."


Five miles away in a Blackhawk helicopter the pilot turned his aircraft towards the battle, clearly showing the large Red Cross on the side of the craft. He wondered if the commies cared for them.
"Roger, Evac-4 inbound, mark your position with yellow smoke over."


Back at the Airfield acting as HQ for II Corps, Patriot Batteries were being erected, along with hand held stingers, mobile avengers and mobile chaparrel launchers.

"Status report please" Lt. General Goodale said as he strode into the building after a meeting with the Army Group Commander.

"All Divisions are offloaded, we are beginning to bring in the logistics support. 22nd is still clearing from the dock, they are acting as tail end Charlie for a bit."

"Roger that, whats the progress of 3rd Cav?"

"They have reached the Bosnian-Croatia border and are moving forward, so far no resistance. They have OH-58s out infront, and the airforce is beginning to get itself established for air cover. Until then we are relying on our own AA and on navy fighters. Our lead elements have to stop here for refuel, 1st Armoured Cav Squadron will move out infront to secure whilst they do that, then 3rd Cav will leapfrog them."

"Ok, whats the status on our Darkstar drones."

"Terminal is set up over here Sir."
They moved over to a console which had multiple screens, each showing the take from one camera onboard the drone, currently cruising at 60,000feet over Central Bosnia.

"Here are some Allied troops" said the operator, zooming in one of the camera's so that they could look at the mans unit patch. The real time relay was coming via a communications satillite that the transmitter on the fibre glass nose of the drone had locked onto.

"Amazing." replied the General as he looked at the screen.

"We've got these to all Division CP's now?"

"Yes Sir, we are stealing the take from one of them, this is under control of 1st Armoured. Our one is currently being refueled."

"Ok Major, keep up the good work."

Credonian Air Force Base, Italy.

The first of 12 E3-B Sentry's began to arrive at the base, making slow graceful turns as they came into land. There were already 5 TWM-1's there, the less famous version of the AWAC's that monitored ground traffic. They would be essential for looking at communist ground movements especially when used in conjunction with satellite and darkstar recon.

The AWAC's would be flying with Air Force Fighters later in the day against enemy fighters. There would only be very limited ground-mud missions for a few days whilst the necessary assets were brought in.


Capture Dr_twist base, Croatia

The first of 24 F-15C Eagles from the 12th Air Superiority Wing began landing. Following them were 24 F-22 Raptors and then a further 24 F-15C's.

At another base similar, with small buildings and good air-raid bunkers the aircraft of the 21st Ground Attack Wing were also beginning to land.
24 A-10 Warthogs were already on the ground as the F-16C;s began to come in.
About an hour out were 12 of the brand new A-11 Ground Attack Aircraft.

A scratch tower crew were directing them in along with an AirForce Security Battalion which had discovered significant amount of fuel in undergound bunkers, just left behind when the Dr_twist airforce left.

Munitions for the aircraft were being trucked in from armament ships that were offloading in the Croatian ports. A battery of Patriot Missiles was on its way to each airfield to act as defence incase of raids.

I have just dispached 800,000 soldiers, sevral hevy and light armoured tank diviousions along with hevy air support from my air craft caryers in the black sea, and I am prepared to dispatch many more men if the need arises for this is only a small portion of my army

As the paradrops begin over hostle areas hundreds of transport choppers begin landing and thousands of troops begin seting up a defenceive perimeter. The soviet general got on his raido ordering air strikes on the hevly entrenched enemy positions while being carefull not to hit civilins. soon the soviet troops began advanceing and although maney soldiers were killed for every one dead there was hundreds willing to take his place of honer. the rebels were being delt blow after blow as the soviets advanced. The Soviet General was sure this conflict would be over soon enough!

The Croatia hungarian frontline is currently under a massive bombing raid, and CP is scrambling fighters to intercept, thta much is clear, the rest i don't know

from my understanding, the Cred Allied Forces have most of hungary, but the Commies have a liitle bit of east hungary secured.

IH, as for my columns being attacked, I had wrote about them coming for a while now and nobody responded... Anyway, will reply to railway post after 24hours. Also, no, the artillery bombardment was not aimed at you, it was aimed at troops holding the Macedonian border (unless you are holding it or your forces are near it. I am so confused...).
VL, I did mention on my last post that I was unsure of the locations of everyones troops so I wrote about two scenarios. Now that I know that someone is in Macedonia, please reply to the attack on the front line I posted before. Ignore the bit about advancing through Macedonia to Albania, I am attacking the border.

The captain stood there, thinking about what to do. A million HP troops where on their way on the largest troop carriers of the HP navy. How could he convince them to kill allied troops to make a few reds look bad? Anyway, he had to do this if he wanted to keep his head. And what was the primary mission? IC: After long negotiations with the Credonian leadership, the Government of Falastur has decided that Falastur will commit forces to fight the Communists of Dr_Twist. To this end, in groups, it will be committing its active military of 8 million men and logistical support. This process is expected to take several years, however the first men should be ready to depart in only 2 weeks. These first soldiers will be escorted to the Croatian coastline by the Falasturian 3rd Fleet, which will then take on active patrol duty. More information about troop placements will be made when available.

Alright men, I have informed you about our mission. The risks are high and we may loose international relations because of this but these are our orders. I cannot give any further information regarding our mission since secrecy is essential to succes. Well men, time to move out.

The 1 million troops on the 100 massive cargo ships were unloaded one at a time. It all went ok since vehicles arrived one week earlier. In order to let the troops be mobile, no heavy artillery and tanks have been transported. The HP soldiers fully rely on guerrillia attacks and light armaments instead of the heavy gear all the other troops carry with them.

A few regiments don't even carry kevlar armour. They trust their skills on the front and knowledge about the forests where they fight. It may sound cheap and unfunded, but the military decided to keep the weapons easy to operate and quick to use. A G3A3 and Colt1911 are standard weapons and an additional m79 grenade launcher as a back up weapon.

No it wouldnt it would be much easier. Each front doesnt really affect the others (other than draining manpower etc, so no direct effect). That way everyone would know what's going on and they wouldnt miss attacks in the sea of posts.

Two men, clad in normal civilian clothes, were tending to their rice paddies, like everyone else in the tiny Taiwanese villiage in the Bonstocknian colony of Maropian Coast. Taxes were high, life was hard; the people lived in tiny huts with families as large as twelve people to support. They felt forsaken by the Bonstocknian government under President C. Well, I'm godmodding against myself... if your read the post right, it says "In the Bonstocknian Colony of Maropian Coast." The Bradleys were government ones, the rebels were disgruntled Chinese farmers in my colony in Taiwan.

Someone said something about world war away from Europe, and so I gave them that... now the war can go to Asia, if someone attacks me or helps the communist rebels.

Someone was asking about Capitalist nations (although I'm not fighting against them because theyre communists and I dont want to get into that now). I have 132,000 troops and 30,000 MBTs deployed. I also have a rather large naval presencein the mediteranean.

Cowden Air Force Base, McQuaide

An electric atmosphere of excitement filled the air as the 1st Air Mobility Wing C-5B Galaxies began loading operations. Two full divisions were at the moment stationed on the base, awaiting transport to the Ukraine. The first to depart would be the pathfinder company of the 19th Airborne Infantry Brigade. These pathfinders would be charged with establishing air and ground traffic control in the Ukraine. They would be followed by the sum total of the 17th Airborne Mechanized Brigade. Throughout the day, the large aircraft would shuttle back and forth, delivering an additional two brigades of airborne infantry and the first of the Corps-level support brigades. Through the next week the 1st Air Mobility Wing and its C-130J-equipped sister wing the 1st Reserve Airlift Wing would conduct multiple missions per day, carrying two divisions worth of combat equipment, and six brigades of corps-level support units.

Next to the government docks, members of the 31st and 32nd Reinforced Light Infantry Brigades were loading their artillery and trucks into commercial freighters. They would then embark in civilian passenger liners and ferries, chartered by the government. The ships would be protected by the 1st Surface Action Group, a cruiser-centered battlegroup more than capable of escorting the civilian vessels.

8th Army Serbian/Hungarian Border:

6000 Elite Army Rangers began the attack into Hungary. The entire 8th Army supported by the 12th Army began moving into Hungary. This force numbers over 1.1 million men and they are supported by A10s, F22s, and F35s. Heavy resistance is being encountered but the Hungarian forces just cant hold off a force of this strength.

5th Army Western Slovakia:

The 5th Army is takeing heavy casualties and only a strip of land in Western Slovakia has been gained. Planes and Artillery continue to bombard enemy positions but as of now the enemy is very well entrenched. I have ordered B52s, B1s, and B2s to conduct a massive bombing raid on the CP defenses.

120 B52s, 90 B1s, and 30 B2s began conducting a massive bombing raid. Artillery continues to blast the CP positions. F35s and A10s are making gun runs and Apaches have begun targeting enemy positions. The CP line should fall shortly.

E-2C Hawkeye, Eagle Four, over Albania.

The radar operator was staring at his display. Yes there it was, 40 blips on the screen coming in from the North East. He pushed his mike closer to his mouth.

“Eagle Nest this is Eagle Four Over”

Onboard the carrier the duty officer was looking at the cross-take of that operators radar screen. “Go Ahead Eagle Four”

“We have 40 plus bandits heading in towards Albania. Flight profile and origin is saying that they are Sierra-Uniform Three-Sevens Over”

“Roger that Eagle Four we are scrambling fighters. They are under your tactical command and are weapons free, I repeat weapons free.”

“Acknowledged Eagle Nest. Wait, we have 30 more coming onto the scope. Computer is telling me Tango uniform nine-five’s Over.”

“Received, fighters are on way.”


Over head the BARCAP of 4 F-22S Raptors turned and went to burner heading for the Albanian Coast some 12km away to join the 6 Fighters already there with the Hummer as the E2 was affectionately known.

Onboard the carrier the remaining F-22’s were taking off, whilst FA/18s from Cassandra came up with AA Missiles to provide carrier defence.


In the lead F-22 Commander Jeff Haywards was at the controls. He checked his radar display, cross-linked from the E2, so he didn’t have to have his own radar on, meaning nobody knew he was there. He then checked his weapons display, his 6 AIM-120 AMRAAMS and 6 AIM-9X Sidewinders were all ready for launch and the computer informed him were not armed.

“Jolly flight, arm weapons” he said over the burst encrypted radio, impossible to listen in on and extremely hard to detect.

“Eagle Four, this is Jolly lead, we are coming up on your six over.”

“Roger that Jolly. We have 70+ bandits headed our way. They have no, I repeat no airbourne radar or ground station covering us. I’m going to bring you around on their 6 Over.”

“Acknowledged Eagle Four” the flight of 12 F-22’s continued to head on.

“Jolly lead come to Zero-Seven-Six.”

“Roger” replied the Commander. Nervously looking around the sky to make sure there were no smoke trails headed his way, these signalled missiles, something he didn’t want coming his way.

“Ok Jolly you are at their nine o’clock” came the controllers voice. “Turn to One-Zero-Three.”

“Acknowledged.” The flight turned slowly, now in position behind the bandits, Tu-95s apparently, and five thousand feet below them. Aviators were told to look above and behind for danger, but never above and below.

Whilst they had been manoeuvred into position the rest of the F-22s, 48 of them, had been put into a blocking force infront of the Su-37s coming in front of the bombers. They would be detecting the E-2’s radar waves, unhelpful but there was nothing they could do about them.

When the F-22’s were a hundred miles out they triggered off their AIM-54 Phoenix missiles. 2 dropped from each plane and rocketed at mach 5 to 100,000feet. Turning over they dived on the enemy formation, their rocket motors expended so they didn’t have any smoke trails to warn the Russian pilots.

As the missiles bore in the F-22’s selected their AMRAAM’s, only four because of the two Phoenix’s carried and continued in towards the fighters.

As that happened Commander Haywards triggered off his first missile of the day, he already had two of the now defunct freedom country flags painted on the side of his aircraft. Now 12 AMRAAM’s were streaking towards the big Russian bombers 3000 feet above and 18 miles infront.


OOC: RF u didn’t say anything about radar birds, your too far from home territory to have ground radar, ive read up on the SU-37, whilst having a rear radar it would not detect F-22s;s that far away and directly behind friendly contacts. Also the radars on the SU-37 cant go detect 100 miles so it wouldn’t be able to detect the F-22 let alone lock onto it :P

“Well, General, I’m glad you’re looking out for our financial livelihood, but, the Strait of Gibraltar has always been a chokepoint. What if they’ve got land-based aircraft patrolling? Or what if they’ve got a blockade fleet?”

“Well then….we wait for First Fleet. And then we launch the bombers and fighters, while the Onos and Agamemnon open fire. You know the Guns have the longest range, and ballistic weaponry is rather hard to detect…particularly OUR shells, and they are semi-guided at that. Also, there is a reason why we placed AA at such a high priority on the Command ships and on the escort ships-we didn’t and won’t always have air support.” Kaerion traced his finger across the map.

“And from here, we move to here.” His finger came to rest upon the war torn Balkans. “The commies here have paid us a hefty sum to land our forces and lend them a hand.”

The Admiral cleared his throat and spoke. “General, the communist forces here have used chemical weapons numerous times now. Are you sure we want to take a contract from them?”

Kaerion frowned, stroking his goatee in thought. “I realize your issues with this, Admiral, and can quite frankly say I’m having the same. However, you know how desperately we need the cash flow right now.” Vance began pacing around the bridge.

“We’re trying to rebuild that rock of a nation and keep the civilians there happy to have us around and provide us with the support base they do, and we need the money to do that. We can’t afford to continue roaming the world doing charity work like we’ve been in the past. If it means working for the Bad Guys, I guess we’re working for the Bad Guys. As long as we don’t have to fight anyone we’ve made a formal political alliance with, it’ll be fine.”

“Bloody hell, General. It was so much easier back home when all we had to worry about was paying for the rent.”

IC: From a staging point in CommunistPoland (I'm using his area as a reference point, since I'm in that area anyway) machines were moving. Guarded overhead by 4 A-50U AWACS and 48 Su-37s, aided by 24 MiG-31Ms and kept aloft for hours by 4 IL-78M tankers., three armies was moving to the Ukraine. The tanks and fighting vehicles rolled gently onto massive rail tank transporters, while the men shambled wearily into the passenger carriages in front. On each flatcar there was at least one AA system, active and waiting for the enemy. It would make offloading more difficult, but it would mean that the AA defence was further strengthened. The trains finished loading and began to pull out of the station into the night, their lights off, waiting for the next day when they would offload in the Ukraine.

But they were not the first DPUO forces to go there. Three Airborne Divisions were already in place, being used to hold the line with their ASU-115s and BMD-3Ms. It was a wasteful use of their armour, but it was, so far, helping to hold the sagging friendly lines. The thousands of Hogsweatians took to their posts, AK01's poking out of sandbags and temporary wooden barriers. As the Celtayoshian troops poured forwards, they opened fire, gunning down the front lines.

Ali fired off another round with a grim resolution, and slammed in another round. The smoke cleared, and through the bodies came two M1 Abrams.
"Comrades! Armour!" Ali called to the AT gun in his emplacement line - as he did the 45MM AT gun swivelled, and as the crew aimed the M1 Shot, the round missing by an inch and slamming into the trench wall. It exploded, leaving a crater and a dead crew. Some more soldiers took over the gun, aimed, and fired. The 45MM recoiled and the shell flew - smashed into the M1 Turret and after a mighty explosion it was clear it had had no effect. The same was happening across the line - The Hogsweatian troops stood up fine to the infantry resistance, but the Abrams were pushing them back. Here and there, a stray grenade immobilized a tank, here and there a AT gun took one out, but after hours of steady fighting the paratroopers routed, straight backwards.

Near Istanbul, Turkey

The three submarines were making their way slowly through the straights. Each one was following in the wake of a large merchant vessel using charts that had been formulated years before by diesel subs, during the early times of the Independent Hitmen.

The lead 688Class Submarine was the IHS Tuscon followed by the Ohio missile boat IHSTender and the second SSN IHSRaider.

Their toward sonar arrays had been reeled in for their passage through this straight and so they were relying on passive sonar from the solely used BQQ-5E sonar suite that took up the whole of the bow of the submarine.



Meanwhile, high above in mid orbit, several KH-11 recon satellites were looking down on railheads, ports and several airfields within the Ukraine and Romania. These were looking at the numbers of tanks, armoured vehicles, supply trucks and hundreds of other details that would help the senior commanders get a good idea about what they were facing.
They were also looking at targets. The railheads were supplying the vast amounts of supplies, fuel and ammunition needed to keep the massive red armies in the field. These along with bridges, both railroad and vehicle, were being surveyed for attack.

The captain of a Crow Class Ballistic sub asked the weapons if all pods were ready.

"Yes sir, Cruise Missle pods 1-8 are all ready" The Captain grinned.

"All Missle Frigates and C class subs, are your pods hot?"

A group of young, cleanly shaven russian men walk around paris, holding their cameras. They enter the metro, looking impressed and speaking in their native tongue. The men cheered at the sight of the withdrawing humvees but their fear gradually turned to anger at the sight of masses of enemy infantry pouring toward them. IH, as for my columns being attacked, I had wrote about them coming for a while now and nobody responded... Anyway, will reply to railway post after 24hours. Also, no, the artillery bombardment was not aimed at you, it was aimed at troops holding the Macedonian border (unless you are holding it or your forces are near it. I am so confused...).
VL, I did mention on my last post that I was unsure of the locations of everyones troops so I wrote about two scenarios. Now that I know that someone is in Macedonia, please reply to the attack on the front line I posted before. Ignore the bit about advancing through Macedonia to Albania, I am attacking the border.

There are also 60 Virginia and 30 Seawolf SSNs waiting outside the entrance to the Med and hundreds of Frigates, FAMBS, Corvettes, Cruisers, Destroyers, etc.

Western Slovakia:

Matich forces have begun entering the capital city of Bratislava. Resistance is heavy but air power has begun to overwhelm the communist forces. Along with Matich forces there are million of Austrians, Czechs, Slovenians, and Slovakians trained and equipped by Matich in Slovakia.

Hungary:

The 3rd Army based in Southern Austria and Slovenia has begun moving into Nortteastern Hungary making a two pronged attack. In Southern Hungary the allied forces are approaching Pecs. Heavy haevy casualties have been taken but the Matich forces are just too powerful. A10s and F35s continue to target communist forces and positions.

The 5 CBGs and 3 AWGs under Admiral Frehner are on alert for any communist naval forces tring to break the blockade.

I understand the plot to get Automagfreek involved, for which side I am still not sure. It is very easy for either side to spin what happened and use it for their benefit, IE: the commies attack Greece so that AMF retalliates into Dr_Twist, or Dr_Twist attacks Greece so that AMF retalliates against the commies.

I am sickened by such tactics. Someone is going to pay for this.

I understand the plot to get Automagfreek involved, for which side I am still not sure. It is very easy for either side to spin what happened and use it for their benefit, IE: the commies attack Greece so that AMF retalliates into Dr_Twist, or Dr_Twist attacks Greece so that AMF retalliates against the commies.

At 0430 hours this morning...The 1st Legion supported by the 1st MEL...Crossed the border into Bulgaria...Advancing on suspected Communist positions in or near the Bulgarian Cities of Montana, Kyustendil & Berkovitsa...They are advancing under cover of an Intense artillery barrage & continous airstrikes. The 8th legion was pulled from patrol duty and moved into 1st Legions Garrison positions

At 2315 hours after several days of advances...Truimphant VL forces entered & Liberated the DT Capitol of Barracuda...As the Victorious Troops marched down the main blvd to a parade of celebration....The Commanders were in high level meetings with deposed Tsar Phillip to reinstate him to his rightful throne.

For the next week...Nonstop celebrations escalated throughout the Occupied territories...with fireworks and food

During the celebration..Exhuburant Twistians...made citizens arrests or provided info on the whereabouts of numerous high ranking Communist Officials & Officers. A total of 102,439 Communists were arrested & detained by VL Security forces.
And with the disappearance of General Franklin...Some 1,200,000 Twistian Communist Troops voluntarily surrendered to VL Forces...Better to give up then be killed by the Jubilant mobs of Twistians. After house to house fighting Matich forces finally secured the capital of Slovakia, Bratislava. The IX Core of the 5th Army has begun advancing into Northern Hungary from the Czech Republic. The cities of Cadca, Trencin, and Zilina have fallen. In the west the cities of Bratislava,Senica, Pezinok,Trnava, and Hlohovec have fallen.

In Hungary:

The 8th and 10th Armies have secured 70% of the country. All DT troops have surrendered rather than be shot by the Austrian Defense Forces and other rebel groups. There is nothing stoping Matich Forces and the entire country should be in allied hands within hours. The 101st and 82nd Airborne Divisions are being helicoptered and dropped along the Hungarian/ Russian Border to ake sure no foreign communist troops enter. The 1st Cav division is being helicoptered to Eastern Hungary to tkae control of the region.

IC: Albanian Railroad

After recovering from the shock of having his sunglasses removed from his face, a task that had left an bleeding gash on his left ear, Captain Jelfs saw the white flag being raised.

He keyed up his radio on the command net "Dangerour Six, this is Alpha Six. We have enemy troops offering surrender as long as we evac their wounded along with ours. I see no reason not to accept this Sir."

Back at the hastily assembled Battalion CP in the back of a HMMWV Major Anderson grabbed the radio off of one of the operators.

"Ok Nick, take the surrender. We have dustoff in thirty seconds I'll call for some more birds."


"Roger that Sir." he pushed the radio set back onto the operators back.

"Ok men lets get this sorted out. Pop yellow smoke for the med evac."

One of the men got up and moved quickly to a flat spot of the road and pulled out a smoke grenade. He pulled the pin , dropped it on the ground and moved back to rejoin the remains of his company as they secured the enemy.

As they did that the vehicles of Charlie and Delta moved by and Bravo Company came down from their flanking position from where they had been just about to move.

Captain Jelfs was back on his radio.

"Dangerous Six, Alpha Six over."

"Acknowledged Alpha"

"We have 7 KIA, 21 WIA, 0 MIA Sir. Enemy casualties are still being brought in, but weve got several uninjured who want to go with the rest of them."

Major Anderson looked at the Battalion XO, Captain Greenwood, who nodded.
"Ok, send em in the choppers. Put a squad on guard duty, we are moving along. Gather your uninjured men, leave your medics and head on out."

Overhead now were two Apache Gunships that would be riding shotgun on the column from now on.

With the Fall of Communism within Dr_Twist, I am requesting that Outside Nations begin to leave Dr_Twist so we can begin the Rebuilding of the nation after the Communist Government. Forces from the Nations of Credonia, Vizion, Vl, Miatch and Independent Hitmen and requested to stay to protect the Nation until it is able to rebuild and able to field armies once again.

"Alright sounds good. Enough blood has already been spilled," said General Franks CINCEE.

"Yes sir," replied Hopkins.


In Hungary:

"All Matich Forces in Hungary finish securing the country and then cease fire. All other Matich forces are standing down," squaked the voice in the radio.

"Sir did you hear that, asked the Captain?

"Ya but we still have to move up to the border," said the Colonel.

"Yes, I know," replied the Captain.

3 hrs later:

CINCEE HQ, Vienna, Austria:

"Sir, the final units have secured their locations in Hungary," said Hopkins.

"Very good. Looks like this war is about over," replied Franks.

"Thank god yes sir," responded Hopkins.

Matich forces will stay until rebuilding is finished or until we are asked to leave.

This Morning the Tsar Received the Estimated Death Toll from the War and the Communist Government over the last 5 Years, "So far an Estimated 600 Million Have died" The Tsar said, The war has been extremely bloody, These days will always stain Dr_Twist History. The Day of Communism has gone, The day of Prosperity has begun.

With the declaration of peace, all Falasturian troops have begun the process of returning to Falasturian soil.

Just thought I'd sum up... My forces have left though...

Albanian Railroad:

Colt was relieved, the IH soldiers had accepted his terms. He surveyed his men around him. He was alive, with only a small bullet graze in his left arm, but 29 of his men were KIA. 17 more were seriously injured and 4 were OK, with only minor wounds, like his.

As the IH helicopter landed and started to take away the men, Colt made sure they all got on OK, he being the last to get on. Weary IH soldiers milled around them, watching the carefully. once all of his injured and dead men were placed on helicopters and taken away, Colt sat down with his healthy men and waited for the last chopper. Colt saw out of the corner of his eye the detonator for the C4, lying about 20 meters away. He looked at it and a IH soldier saw his movements.

The soldier stooped and picked up the device, it was unlike anything he had seen, he moved his finger towards the small red button. Colt watched in slow motion, shouted Noooooo!.
Too late, the man had pushed the button.

An almighty explosion ripped through the air, Colt was thrown like a puppet through the air, impacting heavily on the side of the train. IH soldiers were hit by deadly metal shrapnel flying around. The noise settled. The smell of burning flesh rent the air.

Colt lay crumpled against the side of the train, crimson blood pouring from a cut across his face. He coughed, spraying blood out. He opened his eyes. He could just about see IH soldiers running around, surveying the damage. He managed to shout feebly, and one of the soldiers ran over. He recognised the man, he had a pair of slightly broken sunglasses on, with a gash in the side of his head. He was in charge here. Colt spoke feebly:

"Your man... set off.. C4... accident..."

Jelfs nodded, Colt spoke again.

"...too hurt... am dying... look after my men..."

Jelfs looked at the bleeding man and murmered "yes"

"...pick up my... katana..." Colt motioned to his sheathed sword, lying a few feet away. Jelfs picked it up and unsheathed it and held it up.

"Stab me...through the heart...hard. Keep the...sword, it is yours...*Gasp*... Farewell, friend..."

Jelfs raises the sword and drives it through the mans heart. Colt grunts, then his head rolls forward.

Our airborne forces will stay in place in Communist terrotory to ensure no aggressive moves by the capitalists. Once partition is successfully completed, they will withdraw. Our air and mechanised forces are already leaving, back into our territory.
