Penpusher Red Beret with a G36K

The Penpusher Confederacy has adopted the G36K assault rifle, as it is cheaper to make, more efficient, and uses less expensive ammunition than the CETME Modelo C. We have purchased a manufacturing license from Heckler und Koch in Germany, and will begin production. Our previous CETME mod. C and G3 rifles will be sold to any nation which needs them. Every infantryman in the Penpusher Army will carry a new G36K fitted with a bayonet, and some artillery troops will carry a new G36K with a 40mm grenade launcher. So far, our leading arms manufacturer, National Arms Corporation, has produced 200,000 of these. By tomorrow (an NS year I think) every infantryman will be armed with a G36K.

P-G3A3 Rifle
Built by Penpusher Arms Corporation
Based on original designs by Heckler und Koch
7.62mm NATO (.308 Winchester)
Magazine capacity: 20 rounds
PRICE: $450,000 for 500 rifles ($900 each, but you must buy 500)

(Note: The G3 was adopted by West Germany in the 1950s, as a replacement for the FN FAL. When they wanted to replace their FN FALs, they sought a manufacturing license from Fabrique Nationale (Belgian company) and they refused. They then sought a manufacturing license for the CETME Modelo A rifle. When they obtained it, they rechambered it for the .308 Winchester NATO standard round. This explains the huge similarity between the two rifles.)
