Our leader Erik Kain made a huge announcement today, reshaping the nation of Lorkhan as we know it. His vision of unity for the people has finally been made a reality, and now he promises a vision that the people of Lorkhan have never had; A vision of peace and freedom.
"The nation of Lorkhan has shifted from a monarchy ruled by kings and nobles to a republic for and of the people. Therefore I have announced the reformation of our country. We shall now officialy be known as the People's Republic of Lorkhan. The facist flag that symbolized the doom of war and tyranny that once flew high across the nation has been replaced by a new flag, a flag of hope. I know that some of you may be concerned or confused by this course of event, but change is necciserry for survival, and now is the time for Lorkhan to make a change. A change that will put Lorkhan in a new direction, a direction that will take us to the top of the mountain of peace."
There was mixed reaction all through out the nation today, but nothing more major than organized protests by fundamentalists and extreme right wing conservatives. The Republican Armed Forces and police squads arrested the rebels, but our esteemed leader who wishes to now be announced as Supreme Chancellor Kain stated that they were to be released, for freedom of speech is not a crime in the new Lorkhan.
A new constitution will be put in place within the month signed by representives of the people through out the country. A new star shines bright over the nation this day. For peace, for unity, for the people, for Lorkhan.
