The USN will be holding a Special Forces wargame on one of its islands. You are allowed to bring 30 people to this wargame. Before we start you need to post what forces you are sending. You should bring your own weapon, muntions and supples. Their will be weapon and supply caches on the island but you will have to find them on your own. We will be using MILES and blanks

No outside help, once your forces are inserted you cant call for help from the outside(an example is lazing a target for a airstrike, or calling in replacements, once you are on the island, you arent allowed to call out, so also no UAV recon flights during the game, you can do that before the game to get a feel of the island.)

The island is jungle covered. Think Mekong Delta in Vietnam on a island that is 5 sq miles

No Vehicles will be permitted

No God-Modding. If you are going to god-mod, find yourself another RP.

Please at least have an small understanding of SpecWar tactics. If you dont thats ok, and you can still play, but at least ask questions if you dont understand a particular tactic. I hope i will be able to answer most of the time.

Few Questions:
Any idea when it will start?

i am going to start it in about 10 mins so about 2348 EST(or 11:48 PM Eastern Standard Time)

Its a be the last team standing. You want to elimanate the other teams with out losing your entire team, once all 30 of your men are dead, you are out. I may eventually do a more complex RP with objectives and all that kind of stuff(wait till i do the one where you have to deal with everything required of moving a modern army, you will moving trucks of MREs and water bottles :D )

You can list your equipment if you want, i am not going to make it required though.

When you say vehicles, do you mean boats of any kind, or just large boats like the PBR and CB-90?

Anyway, LRR will send 30 Uhlans troopers, armed with Ak-47s and RPG-7s, as well as some GPMGs. They will also be carrying inflatable boats and/or rigid canoe-like boats as well (if permitted.)

Small IBS(Inflatible Boat-Small) are permitted. A bigger boat like a PBR or any Riverine type boat isnt permitted.

Let me change what i just said, a larger boat is allowed for insertions since that is real Spec War tactics, you are allowed vehicles for inserts(ie PBR, submarine, airborne,etc) but only at the beginning of the game

I thought Cdr. Liang was Admiral Liang and is this the same Liang from the last wargame?

We will carry our regiment in a Mekong River Petrol style Gunboat(with no guns)/I also forgot to confirm our use of MILES Equip.

MILES is what is being used, yes

And let me remind you that gunboat must withdraw after you insert into the island

Admiral Liang was demoted to Commander(In the Wulai armed forces Commander is lower than Admiral,and yes,this is the same Liang!!!,He wont be as cowardly as he was in the last game though

(IC) 2 miles out of the island, a lone C-130 flies at 5000 feet, in the cargo hold, a green light goes on, and 30 forms go out the back. When they hit the water, they hook up with their fireteams and got into their assigned IBSs to begin the trek to shore

Nope,we also made sure he want going to be as cowardly,Capital Punishment 3000 lashes with a diamond tipped whip,and we sent his family to prison (We handle things like the Peoples Republic of China)

1 XM-8 (15 troops w/ sharpshooter variant, 5 troops w/ 40mm GL)
1 Silenced MP-5 (only for 5 troops)

Infra-Red Gogels(excuse my spelling)
10 sniper distraction charges(not really sure what there called, but they work kinda like a claymore...only, they explode giving off the sound and muzzle flash of a rifle without doing any damage)
Clear gogels(excuse spelling, just like ones for swimming)

A Mi-24 hovers above the sea,1kilo away from the Point of insertion,I't's cargo door slides open,and 29 heavily armed young men and 1 old man jump out...(we had to ditch the gunboat),thay swim towards the POE

What appears to be an unmarked civilian jet flys by the island, from it jump 30 soldier, landing in water about 200 m from the island. They begin to head towards the shore.

Once making it to shore 25 men run across the beach, towards the cover of a jungle. 5 men stay in the water and proceed to begin to follow the shoreline remaining 25 m off of it.

The troops arrive on a desolate beach,Cdr.Liang signal to his forces they have reached the LZ,the troops set up a CP along the area,and dub it Camp Ho Chi Minh,Liang splits his group up into 3 separate task forces,Alpha1,Beta2, and Zeta3

((Sorry it took so long, i was getting a butt-chewing))

The men from Nighthawk, established their Command Post(CP) about 2 miles into the islands interior. Near the center of the island were serveral hills, 2 snipers set up on top on one and started scanning for targets

Alpha 1 is ordered to go for a recce observation and give an IR(intelligence report) on the nearby village of Ao Than,Alpha1 walks to Ao Than(a fishing village of about 30 Montagnards near ocean

((Sorry didnt say, this is the same as the other day, no buildings on this island))

Is it just me or is the forum not working right again? It seems to take a couple of mins for a post to appear.

The men remain in the outskirts of the jungle area and begin to set up a defensive perimeter. Claymores are placed, crude foxholes are dug and 5 men climb up to the tops of the trees and begin to survey the surrounding area.

The water-bourne recon team continues its slow, secretive process of circumnavigating the island. They have had no outside encounters yet.

Alpha 1 reaches Ao Than and confirms no enemy sightings,Beta 2 and Zeta 3 also reach Ao Than,The Montagnards there are frightened and Liang assures to them that this is nothing more than an exercise,and tells them to go on with their business in his native Vietnamese language..,Zeta 3 is a sole sniper unit,Liang orders Z3 to climb the rooftops of the 10 huts and set up a area of cover there..,he orders his infantrymen to patrol the area around the 2 acre village
