Message to national leaders for assistance.

Today we have received word that one of our nuclear capable submarines are planning on making an unprovoked nuclear attack on a nation.

We know this because the navel command received a transmission from the Captain stating The Kingdom of Phil-Land are not military minded enough, and need to start taking action to make ourselves known as warriors.

King Phil assures all nations we our peaceful people and the words and actions of this captain no way reflect our opinions.

It is an embarrasing situation, however we only have a small navel fleet in which to search for this traitor.

We call for aid in the hunt, any Nation could be at risk from Nuclear attack.

Again, the Kingdom of Phil-Land would like to make clear this is not a planned attack, its treason against our knowledge.

We have no idea where the submarine is now, but all and any assistance will be greatly received.

Our Navel Command has ordered the Fleet to attack and destroy at will, our small navel fleet consists of 4 Trafalgar submarines and 10 type 42 destroyers. All now commencing search.

Recently, a submarine beached itself near one of our nuclear missile islands. We thought it was a Sephriothian submarine at the moment due to our conflicts.

Perhaps it wasn't from Sephrioth at all...

The captain was executed on finding by a Special Forces squad after pulling a 9mm pistol from his jacket.

Please release to Witzgall the name of the captain. We will then send confirmation/denial if this man is the captain you all are looking for.

The name of Captain is Butcher, captain Patrick Butcher.

If this is our man, please release information on the Sub and her crew.

Thankyou Witzgall.

I deeply regret to inform you that the submarine found on our shores is not the submarine you are looking for.

I will send two missile destroyers to patrol our neighboring waters, with orders to capture any unidentified submersible.

Happy hunting to you all.

OOC: good idea, by the way. And nice RPing.

Official Statement From the Office of the Royal Navy Chief of Staff

The Royal Navy of the Grand Duchy of Hamptonshire, wishing to end a potential disaster before it begins, is sending Submarine Task Force 93 and a small compliment of surface warships to hunt the renegade ballistic missile submarine. Our warships will arrive at the last recorded contact location in 4 days.

On hearing this, Western Fleet Command immediately ordered the sortieing of some 20 Akula-III SSNs to seek out, and if necessary destroy this vessel, backed by another 10 Sierra-IIIs.

Sierra-III SSN Yuri Bukhorin

A small, nay tiny, radio buoy bobbed up and down cheerfully on the surface of the ocean, attached to a long wire, at the end of which sat a ten-thousand-tonne Sierra-III class submarine. Reflecting on this, Captain Second Rank Ivan Ropuchev had often wondered what it would look like to an organism unacquianted with physics; this giant metal shark, held up by that tiny buoy...
"Captain, radio message from Fleet Command," reported the radio operator. Ropuchev walked over with a cheerful smile and picked it up. He scratched his beard thoughtfully.
"Retract the buoy. Set depth three-two-zero metres as soon as it's in, course three-zero-one, and engines ahead flank."
"What about the towed sonar, sir?" asked the XO.
"Oh yeah, take that in too. Always forget that," he mused. Then he ambled off to his cabin to get some rest.

Three hours later, the submarine was over 120 miles away on heading 301, along with no less than six other DPUO subs in the area, all heading at flank speed towards the last known position of the rogue submarine.

To all nations invloved in the search for our traitor.

One of our allied nation spyplanes have possibly spoted the Submarine 756 miles south west of its original position.

The Fleet is now heading to that location at maximum speed.
We ask any units in the above location to assist us.

Again, all nations concerned. Please accept our thanks!

God speed.

We believe that the Submarine's Current position is just 9 miles off our coast, 7 miles of Rotovia's Coast, 1 third of the way through the 16 Mile wide Rotovian Channel. this pu ts a Nuclear Danger too Close to Our Shores. 3 U-212 Submaerines (SSK-2 Plunger, SSK-8 Potomik, SSK-13 Blue Stallion) have been dispatched too Dealwith the Submarine, with Support from 2 Capitol Class Missile Cruisers (LCGN1 Capitol, LCGN2 Blue Wind).

---Aboard the HNS Survivor---

The Survivor, its surface escorts, and the three submarines of Submarine Task Force 93 were heading at maximum cruising speed toward the last reported Contact Area when an alert came in from Naval Command, Phil-Land.

"Commodore Forrest, Phil-Land Naval Command has reported Submarine contact 756 miles South-West of the original contact position." Lt. Harris reported.

"We are only 230 miles from the new contact zone...order Captain Allson to take STF 93 at flanking speed to the new site, lieutenant." the Commodore ordered.

"Yes sir."

"Helm, increase speed to maximum. I want to be within primary weapons range in 2 hours."

The three Brutus Class submarines of STF 93 head "loud and fast" toward the contact site. They expect to reach sensory contact range in less than 90 minutes.

The Yuri Bukhorin

Another radio message had been recieved some two hours ago, giving them a new position to move to. They would, it said, be getting support from Tu-142s in finding the submarine. It had also said that an old Akula-I Improved had managed to gain contact with the sub, only to be unable to maintain the contact due to a combination of bad luck, range, and a slightly erratic sonar set. Nonetheless, combined, the aircraft and the submarine were so far just able to keep a very hazy track of the sub, and thus WFC was broadcasting every update to all forces seatching for the submarine.

We have a fix on the above position.

The Sub has fired upon one of our trafalgars, No damage reported!

2 Of the Trafalgars and one of our Frigates are now in pursuit of this Traitor. Will be in firing range shortly.

We are in pursuit due south of the last reported position.

Standby for further broadcasts.

The end is near.

Secured message from King Phil III

Thank you to all Nations concerned with the search of the Ballistic Submarine commanded by a Traitor.

At 1600h today our Trafalgar Class submarines fired upon the renegade sub, destroying the vessal instantly.
We are sad to say that there were no survivors.

At this time we are not sure if it was her captain or the whole crew that decided to act on there own thoughts.

Again, i thank all involved and hope this can lead to better times between our nations.
