General Morosov has announced the official launch of the new LAI SSM-23 Anti-ship missle, codenamed Kingfisher.
The missle provides Lasatania with an effective anti-ship defence able to respond to incoming threats that can not be met by the people's navy in time.
With an effective range of 50 miles, the SSM23 is capable of surface skimming, thus avoiding OTH radar arrays. Warhead is a 500 HE charge fragmentation warhead. Guidance systems are currently classified.
The missle is launched from land and is to be deployed by both the People's Navy and the People's Revolutionary Army.
