Backstory: For several months, military generals have put pressure on NewHope's government to increase spending for military budgets. However, everytime this has been proposed, it has been shot down. Most military units, while not happy, went along with it. However, several units, including NewHope's top air force and army squads, went on a secret training mission in preparation for an overthrow of the government in a despirate attempt to preserve and build up the military.
Now: These units, after a suprise attack on the capital and several key industraial and agricultural areas, have taken over the government and have declared military rule. While it's unclear who is leading this new government, intel indicates it is General Thompson, a brilliant military strategist, who graduated top of his class at the prestigious Army Technical and Battle Training School. The legitimate government has fled and set up a temporary capital at NewHope's top secret military base known only as The Zone. The legitimate government requests international help in putting down this rebellion.
