I ask any nation in the world for just one simple thing. Something everyone must want. Do you know what that simple thing is? Freedom. I am the Executor of the Island 'Republic' of Isla De Plata, which has been under siege by enemy forces for far too long. The coalition of my enemies will soon defeat the remaining brave soldiers in my army and find me. When they do find me, they will undoubtedly kill me on the spot. That is just the kind of vicious monsters we are talking about.

The Evil Empires of Colerica, Zoogiedom, and Tomzilla have overrun my fair nation, harrassed our citizens, tortured our captured soldiers, and are now threatening my very life. I am currently held-up in the Neadlai, my personal fortress in the city of Mordga. I have had this message clandestinely sent out, out of a last resort measure.

By now you're asking what is it that I want. Again, I state, I only want freedom. All I ask for is a safe passage out of the Neadlai and exile in any nation. I don't care for power, anymore. All I want to do is escape my vile enemies with my life. I plead to any nation that is listening; please help me and my dear wife leave Isla De Plata alive. I will give the nation who helps me leave, anything they want.

To the Evil Coalition that has ransacked and destroyed my once beautiful nation, I will formally hand-over all power to anyone you want. I don't want to be Executor of Isla De Plata so long as it will get me killed.

We fail to see what you are trying to hint to. Our citizens cannot fight anymore. They have no will to fight anymore. The Evil Coaltion's vile armies of darkness have destroyed that will to fight.

If your nation will swear fealty to the Throne of Attiska, you will be given Attican rights, and will be protected from these aggressors in your nation. Your nation will become a protectorate and technical territory of the Empire, however. You might even be made the Governor of the territory.

How many forces face you, what problems are occuring? You need to tell us more.

If you will explain what is going on I'm sure I could get the guys in my alliance(s) to jump in and fight for you. Since most of us are future tech and/or magic based we ought to even up the fight somewhat. So what do you think?

We ask the nations of the Krestel Order, Attican Empire, Turetel, and Ancaria to silence their offers to such the vicious regime of Mage Uraine. Do not interfere with the liberation of Isla De Plata. Do not impede on the progress the Coalition has made at freeing the Plataeese people from tryranny. Do not intrude on the efforts the Coalition has made to end the despotic strangehold that the Uraine family has possessed on Isla De Plata.

We ask you not to believe the propaganda that Mage Uraine has said. The Coalition has not harrassed innocent civillians on Isla De Plata. The Coalition has not tortured any captured Ma'dah soldiers. We are freeing a nation. Let us do our job at getting rid of the one of the worst dictators in the world. The only evil empire in this equation is that of the dying regime of Mage Uraine. Do not support the Uraine tyranny. We also have no plans of killing Mage Uraine. We have the full intention of bringing him before a jury of his peers and giving him over to the citizens of the country that his family has enslaved for Plataeese justice.

Zoogiedom has always been a nation committed to peace and freedom, and the Colerican situation waws the first it had been involved in. Those who we attacked were enemies of freedom in that they attacked civilian cruise ships (I think, forget what exactly it was) and enslaved their own people.

The coalition is on the verge of toppling the totalitarian and terrorist regime of Isla de Plata. The Zoogie People's reputation is enough, we hope, to show that our forces are engaged not in imperialism, but in liberation, particularly because we shall reap no monetary or territory benefits from this.

We thank The Zoogie People for backing up the Coalition's stance. Also, they reminded the United Empire of Colerica about the IMS Montaro, a Colerican ocean liner that was sunk by the Ma'dah regime of Isla De Plata, killing over nineteen hundred innocent civillians.

We ask all nations to not supply help to Mage Uraine or the Ma'dah regime.

As you may or may not be aware of, a Colerican ocean liner, the IMS Montaro sunk the other day off the coast of Isle De Plata. The ship, we believe now, was struck by a torpedo. Intelligence shows that the torpedo may very likely have been sent by a submarine under the control of the Ma'dah regime of Isla De Plata.

Colerica Imperial News has just been notified, literally seconds ago, that explosions are occuring throughout Isla De Plata, the miniscule island that lies over one hundred and eighty miles northeast of Colerica. As it appears right now, the United Empire of Colerica has gone to war with Isla De Plata.

There has been tension for several weeks now, since the three foreign agents hade been captured within Colerica's borders. Seemingly, the agents belong to Isla De Plata. Then, rumoredly, the Colerican government was sent a plea from certain members of the ruling regime of Isla De Plata. A plea to help in a planned coup to overthrow the current Executor of Isla De Plata.

Again, to reiterate, explosions are rocking Isla De Plata as I speak. And it appears that the United Empire of Colerica has brought war to Isla De Plata. We will, of course, continue to cover this story. The Emperor is expected to speak anytime now....

"Citizens of the United Empire of Colerica. Nations of the world. As I would hope you all know that the IMS Montaro sunk just the other day off the coast of Isla De Plata. Vast rescue efforts are working around the clock, even as I speak, to help find survivors of that tragic wreck. The Montaro, however, isn't why I'm making this speech. Not entirely.

That was Emperor Maderic Thra of the United Empire of Colerica confirming what we already were sure of. The United Empire of Colerica has declared war on Isla De Plata's Ma'dah ruling regime. We've also gotten word that the Democratic Republic of Tomzilla has passed a declaration of war as well, and they will see to aid the United Empire in ousting the corrupt Ma'dah dictatorship. We will, without a doubt, continue this story...

Yes, Isle De Plata is actually a nation. It's controlled by a friend of mine, who said that they no longer wish to play NS. I'm taking it and I'm taking in style...plus I have to get rid of their former regime...play along... I do want someone to RP as the Ma'dah, though...



Since that post, I've had another friend RP on and off as Isla De Plata. My eventual goal is to take the island nation and after the Coalition 'liberates' it. I'm just taking a friend's nation and I'm taking it with style. The war for 'liberation' is just a facade for my real plans. (But of course, no one knows any of that, IC-wise, except the core leadership of my nation.)

So that's about it, from my perspective at least....

At Kalraan Elite Operations base Zeras, order were being issued.

Scaragon Selton, General of KEOC, was an old man, nearly ninety now, but aged in that peculiar way that oak does. Every ounce of spare tissue appeared to have been excised from his body, leaving little more than skin, bone, and tendon. He refused any concession to his advanced years, walking with the long, purposeful stride of a man a third of his age. It was as if he believed that if he stared his age in the face long enough, it would give up and go away. Admittedly, it worked against most everything else.

There was a brief chuckle among the individuals of the 54th KEOC Unit at the particular emphasis given to the word Republic, silenced almost immediately by a piercing glare from Selton.

"As I was saying... You will rendevous with him and his wife Sela at the Neadlai. Currently, there is a battle raging in the area, but you are NOT TO TAKE PART, understood? Unless you come under fire that your suits cannot simply ignore, you are to neither open fire on anyone, nor even acknowledge the presence of the groups involved. Once Uraine and Sela are located, you are to keep them under guard until we can open a long range gate to your location. Your first priority is to make sure that they come through this alive. Unharmed would be preferable as well."

With a gesture, he called up an illusory map of the area. In exquisite detail, the image formed out of the air in front of the 54th, allowing them perfect view of the possible escape routes that might need to be used. Clear photographs of the pair in question also appeared, looming over the scene.

"If you are attacked by forces which you cannot stand against, you are to protect the pair until we can detail reinforcements. Unless they are somehow killed, retreat is not an option. Our business reputation is at stake here. You will be issued, in addition to your normal armament, one Les-Ryo TLL Tent Field, easily capable of protecting them in a stationary position. The rest, I leave up to your discretion. Go with Gold."

Behind them, the machinery of the To-From Teleport System whirred to life.
