The Colony of the Lighting Star has declared Independence from the Rogue Nation of Washibar. This has come to pass because of the ruthless use of the government of drafting our soldiers. 90% of the forces used in the brief, by bloody war between Washibar and the Federation of Metzar were Lighting Star Colonists. We do not expect this will go well with the Washibarian government and are preparing for a full scale war.

I would just like to make a point that we did not start this war. These people are our colonists and they owed us. The Lightning Star Capital of Sirius is in ruins. These days have taken an immense toll on the Lightning Star people. Sirius was home to 890,000 people. We can now confirm that over 500,000 have died, and about all of the rest are wounded. 78% of the city has been burned to the ground, and only 16% of the city is in our hands. We only have 3,000 trained soldiers and 13,000 poorly trained Militia. If any of our allies, like The God Falltothzu, is going to help, they'd better start soon.

At this very moment, the army of Washibar, once again reinforced with forces newley drafted, have nearly conquere Sirius, capital of the Lightning Star.

"General Valerian, prepare your men for deployment as soon as the governing body of Lightning Star gives the word. Time is of the essence as the invading forces of Washibar pose a serious threat to Lightning Star sovereignty."

High General Valerian bowed and left the Imperial Chambers.

"Prepare the third and seventh Legions for extended action. Make sure the fleet and air force stand ready to support."

The ten thousand mobile infantry were placed on battle readiness and were confined to base should the orders be given.

"Washibar will learn the price of aggression." General Valerian smiled as he watched the muster of the Empire's men.

"When the word comes, our first strike must be decisive. We shall land and race to relieve Sirius, their capitol. Once that is free from Washibar occupation, we can deploy additional Legions to reclaim their lost territory." The Legates nodded as the General outlined their grand strategy for the campaign.

"Be ready, be rested. That is all."

I will be sending an additional 200 000 troops to defend the capital. They will arrive within 3 hours. The air attack shall commence immediatly.

First the F-22 Raptors will group into 100 squadrons of 10 planes and target the air defenses. Using their immense stealth capabilities, they will get 100 miles away from the air defenses and radar stations. Upon reaching that distance each will then fire all 8 air-to-surface missles. eradicating their targets before they are detected. Following the F-22s,
B-1Bs will wipe out the survivers and whats left of your air defenses. B-2s will then target artillary positions surrounding the capital. Finally, the
F-35s will escort the SR-75s. These SR-75s will fly over troop groupings and begin to disperse their masive amounts of cluster bombs.

Heavy loses taken, but that was to be expected. 200 F-22s, 300 B1-Bs, 100 F-35s, and 5 SR-75s were lost.

In 20 hours, more reinforcements will arrive. These will include 1 of the newly formed anti-vehicle divisions, consisting of 50 000 men will arrive, Along with 15 000 T90 tanks, 10 000 M60 Patton Tanks, and 5 000 Crusade Mobile Artillery Piecies. 2 Assualt Fleets, 2 Carrier Fleets, and 1 Submarine Fleet will also arrive. You western Nations do not scare us with your mighty militaries! We will fight you with our armies! Due to a population boom that nearly increased by a half we can send in even more troops to add to the army of about 70,000 we had before (we are a militaristic country, so we CAN draft about 5-7% of our population and we pay them in drugs so money iosnt a propblem.) Now our forces number nearly 150,000, and while that may not seem like alot to you greater countries, in many wars the smaller force has won.

And once again, WE DID NOT START THIS WAR! If you read the message that the lightning star sent us, this war was totally justified, they burn our citizens and kill our people and burn our buildings, we will do the same to them!

General Valerian was getting restless, as were his men.

"Without being formally invited by the government in Sirius, we are unable to take action." Legate Falius of the 3rd Legion quietly approached his commander. "We can begin infiltrating some forces in, to provide reconnaisance. If you would only give the orders..."

Later that day, a pair of UH-60 Blackhawks lifted off the troop transport Terminus and made their way towards the coast of Lightning Star.

"Command, we have an estimated two hundred contacts blockading Lightning Star. Our detour will take another hour to completely avoid naval detection. Over."

Based on this new intelligence, General Valerian immediately sent word to the High Council requesting additional naval support.

"Finally some good news Legates, the new purchases from Aequatio will be deployed as escort. I assume the Council wishes to have live-testing rather than our dry exercises."

With a dry *thud* the two transport helicopters arrived at the shores of Lightning Star, depositing the tweny Praetorian Guardsmen. The elite soldiers of the Holy Empire were frequently used for these non-conventional missions. Certainly illegally infiltrating into a hot zone before was one of them.

Primus Pilus Cato nodded to his men to deploy, then waved for the Blackhawks to return to the fleet. "Okay men, we're not supposed to be here. And that's exactly why we've been deployed, not Legionary scouts. We're going to move inland and setup a base camp. Move." Without remarks, without comments, the Guardsmen moved out.

Statement of the new Government of the Lightning Star

After the battle for Sirius, neral 700,000 civilians died and nearly 60,000 military personell, almost our entire army. During the battle the cityof Sirius was leveled and now it ceases to exist. Also, all the members of the old government were killed holding out in the Council Building. The goverment is now in controll by the Duke of Berry, the original leaders of this area. This government has the exact same stance on politics, and this is still a democracy, and the only power the Duke REally has is military operations and foreign affairs. The rest is still handled by the Council of the Stars. The Capital has also been re-located from Sirius to Norvingtown, the capital of the Berry Province.

Over a 10th of our population( around 1 million) people have died, and we are in desperate need of foreign aid. While Military assitance is desperatly needed, air fro our people is even more so.

Duke: Good. I dont think that even this castle, the greatest fortress in the region can holdup against that army.

Gen. Farntson: My lord, it is surprising that Metzar, the most powerful force in the region, hasnt intervened and saved us. Nor Fafi. Their combined might would certainly overpower the WAshibarians.

Duke: Ahhh, but why would they intervene? Washibar has no intentions of invading them, and to them we are just a prick on the radar... Besides, even if we did win, about every country that has aided us will have at least one terrorist attack. and if washibar were to be invaded the entire country would rise up. I believe we are in a bad situation...

Gen. Farnston: Well my lord, here is a bit of good news. it seems like Triumphus, a country with another large military, wants to intervene but wants your permission.

Duke: OF course, they needent not ask us! we are in a desperate situation already..

"Hello, Im Toby James, and this is your millitary news. 5 000 men were lost in the defense of The Lighting Star, and more are expected to sacrafice their lives. A statement from God has been issued:

"I assure you that The Lightning Star will be Free! This war will not be over until they are. I would also like offer this last chance to Washibar: If you free The Lightning Star many of your soldiers will be spared. This is your last chance. Only more destruction and death is to come."

Cease-fire deal

The government of Washibar, sensing that a great battle is soon to ensue, has decided to offer a cease fire agreement until 7:00 o'clock Central 8:00 EST(real time). The government is proposing this because the government is split nearly in half on this issue. Although the leader( who is baisically the dictator) does not want these rebels to gain controll of their own affairs but does not wish to bring a rain of hellfire upon his country.

The rules of the cease fire are:

All the land so far conquered by the Washibarian soldiers is to remain in WAshibarian hands, and all the territory belonging to the rebels belongs to them. No army may advance into the opposing territory. The only time when soldiers can attack each other is when enemy units are found across the line. Then anything goes. You ARE allowed to mass troops during the cease-fire, but they cannot attack until the cease-fire ends. Also, your army cannot exceed 5% of your population ( although i wouldnt bee surprised if most people play that way. Aid may also be sent but cannot be attacked or intercepted. Any violation of these rules will lead to the re-initation of fighting. And although the fighting will probably be a bit one-sided(against Washibar) there is no doucbt that many on both sides will suffer a horrible death.

If you agree either say i agree with the deal or say All your base are now belong to us.

I may agree, but it will depend on a few things:

1)About how much land are we talking that is going to be given back to The Lightning Star? Cause it seemed like he was down to a city and some of the sorrounding lands.( im not lookin for an exact number i just would like make sure that hes gettin more than a few city-blocks of land.)
2)The Lightning Star must agree to these terms due to that he is a major part in these agreement and I think that he should have some say in whats going on.

I would much prefer a peaceful solution, due to the fact that I am currently fighting a war in Lenarch as well.

P.S.
I probably wont be around at 8 so if possible i would like to extend the cease-fire until The Lighting Star has put in his opinion. O and I am usin 5% of my population(200 000 000*0.05=10 000 000)for the army. And I do believe you can take out a smaller percent as reserves.(Ex: i have the 5% standing army and a 2.5% reserve force)

We accept this offer and would like t thank Chellis in seeing the true side of this war.

I agree with the peace treaty, if you are still looking for peace. Apon your confirmation of this peace treaty, I will begin a withdrawl. I will only leave 100 000 reserves, 1 submarine fleet, 1 assualt fleet, and 1 carrier fleet. I hope that no further conflict will be nessecery.

The Lightning Star, if you are looking for help repairing your cities and what-not, then please contact me so that I may put in a bid for the reconstruction project.

"General sir! We've received news that the state of Washibar has extended a cease-fire to the Lightning Star."

Valerian let out a sigh, though ready for war, he was still hesitant about risking Triumphus lives on a foreign conflict, just though it was.

"Excellent. Continue the Praetorian reconnaisance, remind all forces that it is only a cease-fire. Move the fleet closer to Lightning Star coasts, and begin deployment of the Legions along the shores. We don't want to be caught at sea if this goes hot again."

Nodding, the message was relayed to the fleet and amphibious Legions who began closing the distance to the shore.

"Centurion Cato, transmission from the General. Cease-fire has been declared, we are to continue our mission."

The senior Centurion nodded and whispered into his own helmet-mic. "Continue moving. We'll deploy along where Sirius used to be." One of the Legionaries raised an eyebrow. "Used to be sir?" Cato nodded. "According to the reports, the Washibar invasion has levelled the former capitol. However we shall deploy there, see what help we can offer to whoever is left alive. Send that to the General."

General Valerian quickly received the report from the Praetorians and grimaced. "Send news to the Council back home, request immediate aid packages to be sent to Norvingtown. Legates, remind your Legions that we are on full alert still. Nothing is for certain until they've reached a peace agreement."

As of 8 o'clock last night, the Cease-fire had ended. at 10:00 this morning (CST) the Washibarian army has almost entirely landed and the war has re-commenced. Our forces now are:

"I knew those Washibarians couldn't be trusted to hold to that cease-fire. Legat Falius, the third Legion is moving towards Sirius. If you can secure positions that will devastate the Washibarian rear guard. Aim for supply convoys and anti-aircraft emplacements. Do not engage in a pitched battle, there is no fear in withdrawing your men to preserve forces. Legate Carrio and I shall make all speed towards Norvington."

The mix of M2 Bradleys and M113 APCs sped towards Sirius, ringed by a group of M1 Abrams. Legate Falius watched from his command Bradley. "Keep the left flank tight, we don't want anything surprising us. Get in touch with the Praetorians, we'll need all the intel they've gathered. All weapons are red. I repeat, you are free to fire upon contact and at will. Legate Falius out."

The High Council looked over the latest reports, many of them frowned at what they saw.

"These Washibarians really want to retake Lightning Star. General Valerian has request additional forces, in addition to the aid packages that we have delivered."

"We have two entire Legions deployed alongside our newest naval additions! What more can he want?"

High General Quintus Caecilius stood to quiet the noisy Chamber.

"We have already committed a force to aid these suffering people. We cannot withdraw, our reputation is now on the line. I am proposing immediate deployment of another three Legions of infantry with full armoured auxiliary support. The naval situation will be dealt with by other allies of Lightning Star."

"Send word to the God Falltothzu and request that their fleet support our nominal naval commitment. Although Washibar has a signifcant navy, there is some disparity in the technology which we should be using to our advantage." High Admiral Drusus Octavian bowed before the Council and left.

"Very well General, we agree to the deployment of three additional Legions. But we expect to see results. You are dismissed."

The naval force deployed to the Lightning Star-Washibar conflict is merely a protective force for our transport fleet and coastal deployment base. Should you require additional forces to aid in repelling the Washibar navy, though hesitant to extend our naval forces that much, we shall consider that need. General Valerian nodded in admiration as the 7th Legion formed up around his command vehicle, moving in unison as they had been trained tirelessly to do. "Carrio, have the men ready to engage any leading elements of the Washibar army. We need to give Norvington time to prepare. Setup defenses and fire nests in those nearby villages. Weapons are red and open rules of engagement. Make them pay for every step that take."

Legionaries took up positions within the village, clearing out the villagers and relocating them as best they could. When the Washibarians came, they'd be ready for them.

We are mobilizing forces to aid those fighting the oppression by Washibar. We will be aiding The God Falltothzu. The following will be sent.

So, all troops that have left Washibar, are on their way back. The submarine fleet as well as the assualt fleet, still stationed near Washibar, have opened their missle doors and fired cruise missles until there was nothing left. Thats about 2 900 conventional cruise missles barreling towards Washibarian fortifications and troop build ups. Next, 30 of my orbital defense satalites have been switched into offensive mode. each satalite will launch 2 conventional warheads, thats 60 war heads, their target, cities that are believed to be harbouring large numbers of terrorists. So thats 10 cities, each getting with with 6 warheads. Folling this attack, the carrier fleet launched 50 SR-75s and 100 F-22s. They were divided into 10 groups, 1 for each city. The SR-75s were equiped with napalm tanks. So after those, 10 highly populated cities were hit with the war heads, the were doused with napalm.

Loses were heavy, 4 of the 10 qroups were lost.

Holy Empire of Triumphus News broadcast
Earlier today the terrorist group Freedom Fighterc operating out of Washibar detonated a bomb in a crowded mall. The death toll has exceeded the hundreds and nearby hospitals are rushing to treat the injured.

The High Council refuses to comment further on the attack, but promises swift retribution.

The forward Legionary positions had reported contact with skirmishing reconnaisance elements of the Washibarian army advancing on Norvington. Very sketchy reports without any accurate estimates of enemy casualties. Five Legionaries had fallen to enemy bullets however and Legate Carrio would be writing those letters home at this time.

"Legate Falius reports that his Legion has established contact with the Praetorians. They are closing on Sirius, no real resistance. Small pockets of looters brushed aside." The General waved for his aide to put down the report.

"Establish contact with the Lightning Star government in Norvington, I'd like to know what they intend to do about that Washibar juggernaut advancing on them right now. Bolster the first forward position with another cohort, five Abrams. We want the Washibarians to think we're going to make a stand there. When in fact we opt to buy time for our Legions to arrive."

"Legate Falius! Cohors Tertius reports contact with significant enemy forces on outskirts of Sirius."

Falius hurried to the command room where data was pouring in from the 480 men of the 3rd Cohort.

So, 200 SR-75s, escorted by 200 F-22s and 200 F-35s have left my nation. They will arrive in Washibar in 5 hours. Their payload, some will be carrying HydroChloric Acid(HCl), others will be spraying mustard gas, others will be dispensing nerve gas, and some will be spreading strains of the abollo virus. All troops within Washibar have been instructed to pull back to Washibarian borders and wear hazordous material suits. Also, 50 orbital defense satalites have been switched into WMD counter stance. They have locked the 100 kiloton nuclear missles on Washibarian high profile targets. The fire command has not been given. 2 Ohio class submarines outfitted to carry trident II missles are on their way towards Washibarian waters, they will arrive in 10 hours, and will go into a missle launch readyness state. 50 000 of my troops have died from the SCUDs and another 25 000 more are expected to die within a month. Also, I am diverting troops and supplies from Lenarch to here. 200 000 troops will arrive in 20 hours. Good Day, Sir.

New Peace deal

The nation of Washibar (or whats left of it) has put up a surender agreement for the end of this fruitless war.
(1) 25% of Washibarian territory will be surrendered to the Allied forces attaking Washibar.
(2) All leading members of Washibar and leaders of all the Terrorist organisastions that agree will be handed over to Allied officials.
(3) The lightning Star will be an independent Nation.
(4)10% of the nations income will be given to the allied Nations
(5) Washibar Cannot have an army higher than 10,000 soldiers.
(6) The allied Nations will install a new Government bt Washibar will still control iself... to an extent.
(7) The people living in that 25% of Washibar surendered will be slaves of the Allied Nations.
(8 ) The God Falltothzu will become the Official REligious Entity of Washibar.
(9) The army of WAshibar can be raised to 10% of its population but this can only happen when the conquering nations need extra forces but cannot use their own.
(10) Washibar can only intervene in RP's the Allied nations participate in and they can only do things that its masters say.( only international Incident RP, of course.)

We agree with the terms set by Washibar. We would also like that the slaves and Money should be put to use rebuilding the Lightning Star, then they can be put to use by the other nations. Also, we believe that 10% of the land and slaves should be given to The God Falltothzu, 9% to triumphus, 4% to the United Korean Nations, and 2% to us. The Money should be used as 4% to the God Falltothzu, 3% to Triumphus, 2% to the U.K.N, and 1% to the Lightning Star.

Although Grenval is not in a postition to send in manpower, nor does Grenval wish to take sides, Sacqu, the colony of Grenval, is prepared to send in humanitaria aid available to all armies. Sacqu sends:

General Valerian smiled as the Washibarian forces surrendered upon the transmission of their treaty.

"Finally, some sense has been beaten into these people. I assume the High Council already knows of this. Redeploy our forces into securing the territory ceded to us. Have Legate Falius and the Praetorians begin perimeter sweeps. We want to make sure these terrorists are all accounted for." Callio nodded and handed the report to a Legionary for transmission.

Legates Callio and Falius and their respective Legions found that the Washibarians were true to their word, and there was minimal if sporadic resistance to the implementation of the surrender. The fresh Legions quickly moved into place around the new Triumphian sectors.

However, the scene in the High Council was not as pleasant and peaceful.

"You deliberately ignored the tranmission by Washibar! This would have saved many innocent lives, as well as the lives of our soldiers!"

"There is no indication that our allies would have ceased at our behest! They could have turned on us at any moment. Be grateful for the new territory and population that we have gained from upholding justice."

"Justice? You call enslavement justice? You have not heard the last of this issue. When the next request to deploy our Legions is brought before the Council, don't think that our brutish behaviour will go unnoticed."

High Councilor Tavario stormed from the chamber, leaving the rest of the Council shocked at his outburst.

"At any rate, life goes on. Caecilius, we should rotate Valerian and his Legions out of service. They deserve to be rewarded for their valiant efforts in the defense of Lightning Star. And of course, compensation for the lost Legionaries. How many were they?"

High General Caecilius consulted his documents quickly for the reports from the front. "Two hundred Legionaries confirmed as casualties. Another Seven hundred have been injured in the line of duty. The families of the deceased have been notified as per starndard procedure. Compensation payments are being calculated and will be sent out shortly."

With that grim note, the Council was adjourned.

General Valerian frowned at the new orders. "Recalled? So soon? But our Legions are most suited to deal with this tranisitional period. They have experience in the theatre...What is the Council up to?"

OOC: This has been an interesting RP.

The forces of Washibar, all but defeated, surrendered in great MAsses. While there are still people in the 25% of the land to be given to the Allied Forces that are still fighting, otherwise there is little military acction. Now the people of Washibar are back to re-building their nation with the help of International aide workers. As was settled, all mosques have been destroyed and replaced with temples to the God FAlltothzu, 25% of the land has become part of different nations, and the people in this land into slaves. Washibar is now under the Martial law by the forcesof the Allied nations. All of WAshibars economy (including the vast oil industry) has been nearly destroyed, and although it is working at only 1% of capicity, 10% of that is still going to the Allies. Over 7 million Washibarians were killed, many during the Chemical and Napalm attacks on the cities, and the rest were killed in Normal Military Actions. The capital of Washibar is Now Quettabad, which surprising survived the seige, but just barely. The city is now capital only in name, seeing how it is the Last city of free WAshibar. Now while many of the people in the countries of the attackers believe that this is the end of their countries involvement in this theater, Their countries still need to set up an interim government and pave the way for Washibar to become a civilized nation, or else it will Certainly become a breeding place for Terrorist Organizations. They must also help rebuild this Nation. Any aide or aide workers would be accepted.

The Republic of Roach-Busters officially recognizes the independence and sovereignty of The Lightning Star. We would like to exchange embassies, begin free trade, and possibly exchange military bases and form a defense alliance.

The war with Washibar has left around 1,000,000 civilians, over 100,000 of our servicemen and 345,000 of our militia dead. Nearly 85% of our population is homeless and nearly 3,000,000 people were wounded. 12 out of the 18 major cities of our nation have been destroyed. Although the money territory and slaves are being put to use re-buildin The Lightning Star, we need more foreign aide.

The Duke would also like to Initiate foreign relations with other nations. As of this moment we are building Embassies and consulates for any nation who wishes to have relations. We ask that an embassybe built in Triumphus, Roach Busters, The U.K.N., and The God FAlltothzu.
