In the past, the Royal Navy of Stevid needed a rapid strike vessel, which would have the capability of patrolling the shores of Stevid and accompanying fleets to act as carrier escorts, there and then, the type 28 was born.
But due to a recent commercial boom in Stevid, in was decided that Stevid may need a slight advancement her national naval policing.
The extra money was used to fund schools and the healthcare system, but the MoD decided that a purchase of Trimarian hulls could prove to be an advancement the naval affairs of Stevid.
32 Trimarian hulls were purchased, but the current national budget of Stevid can’t cope with an extra 32 ships, so drastic naval cuts will have to be met.
85 Type 28 destroyers are in current operation in the fleet, they are now on sale to nations around the globe. Most nations will probably have their own version of the type 28, but this destroyer is a one of a kind vessel, it performs like an ordinary destroyer expect this one travels 49 knots and has state of the art radar.
Any new nations to NS will greatly benefit from the Type 28, any older more experienced nations which need a destroyer with speed and capability.
