First national Election
The Colony of Paxman is preparing today for the first national election for both arms of Parliament. The House of Representatives will contain 66 members, while the senate will have 32 members elected. There are many eager party’s looking forward to making the nation a long lasting and prosperous democracy. Harverd Suller, the interim leader of Paxman for the past 3 weeks, will hand over the running of the nation to the elected government as soon as ballot results are confirmed.
The leaders and parties running for election are:

Mathew Hillard- A military background in the elite forces. At just 33 he is the youngest of the party leaders. He is compassionate and caring. But when need be he is very assertive and powerful. His party policies revolve around environmental and economical concerns. Two major policies they’ve put forward are the removal of private vehicles, for public transport. They also promise the lowest tax rates. The party is eager to boost international relations.

Albie Jenkins- The oldest member running for office at 61 years he is a veteran of the great Arterial War. A hero from that war, he loves his country dearly. He is very brave and stands up for what he believes. Several post war events led him to protecting environment. He is the federal leader of the Greens party whose major commitment is towards lessoning mining and Logging.

Tara Finnegan- The only female running for President. She is very feisty and has a major grudge against most men. She is the leader of the Equality party. Their sole mission is to give equal rights to the women of Paxman.

Steven Pope- Front runner in Pre-Pole indication votes Pope is a wealthy Lawyer from the East side of Paxman. Very-Pro business, he is a member of the Liberal party. They are mainly interested in encouraging Large International Businesses to our shores.

Harverd Suller- Wants to continue close links with its sovereign land. His policies are unknown as he flip-flops on ever major issue as the populations opinions change.

Hillard wants to get rid of private vehicles? Not a hair on my head thats thinks for voting of him.

Jenkins, he's member of a green party! says enough, no vote for him. I've seen Green peopel at work and it wasnt beautiful

Finnigan?, more rights for women is ok, but someone with a grudge against men? No way, no vote for you

Pope: the only interesting one, i'll give him my vote. International bussiness is important for evryone. more money more employment!

Suller: seems to me like he just wants to give the public whatever they ask, could end up in a disaster (especially for your national funds)

Why they are getting slaughtered: the pro-business guy is in the Liberal party for some reason. Confusion has come out in his favor.
