Welcome to the Portaushi Military Storefront

The Republic of Portaushi has always prided itself in its willingness to support exploration on the fringe of modern science. Especially when such exploration is beneficial to the Republic's military and economic well-being. Thanks to some very recent developments in our military research facility deep in the heart of the <<CLASSIFIED>> Region, we have several new weapon designs available for sale. Because most of these are in their prototype or post-prototype phases, only specs will be given. Later, as we finish testing, visual data will also be included in the information packet.

WHY YOU SHOULD BUY FROM PORTAUSHI
Nationalized corporations in Portaushi are required to hire only skilled developers and workers referred by the Portaushi Department of Labor and Manual Resources, and all their handiwork must be approved by the Department of Military and Civilian Production before it can be sold on markets both inside and out of our little country. This ensures that each product has been built by qualified personnel and has undergone hundreds of hours of testing before it even enters the consumer market. Our weapons are reliable, affordable and, above all, effective.

Furthermore, return customers and large orders will receive discounts via rebate tokens which can be collected at the Portaushi Department of the Treasury and Gambling Comission.

Portaushi reserves all rights to the distribution of weapons technology. Resale is prohibited under penalty of immediate revocation of all client nation privaleges, including Rebate Tokens. Specifications for the production of the weapon are available. Contact your local distributor. Portaushi is not responsible for any death, dismemberment or terminal nuclear winter caused by the use or misuse of any of its commercial or military products. Several animals were harmed in the testing of these weapons. End Use Liscensing agreements apply

Available Infantry Systems
Portaushi has always emphasized the place of the infantryman on the battlefield.* Thanks to the hard work of our indentured weapons research scientists, we have been able to improve the effectiveness of the common foot soldier in almost every aspect. Let's take a look.

*The place of the infantryman is between the enemy and the more important vehicle brigades.

The LNC-300 "Lancer" 9mm Charged Automatic Rifle
Using a patented electromagnetic accelerator powered by a lithium battery, the LNC-300 creates a powerful, effective combat rifle with fewer moving parts. The LNC-300 is built from low-weight composite materials, making it perfect for extended missions and quite resiliant in the face of mishandling, accidental droppage and other forms of impact trauma. Its 9 millimeter parabellum ammunition lacks the stopping power of most common assault rifles, but its accuracy and relatively high ammunition capacity make it an effective and deadly infantry weapon. A fully ambidextrous safety makes it comfortable for most soldiers, and a two-stage trigger allows quick change between single shot and three round burst firing.

Ammunition: 9mm parabellum
Clip Size: 100
MSER*: 150 meters
Weight**: 7 lb.
Cost: 2,000

*Manufactuers Suggested Effective Range
** Fully Loaded

The LNC-3000 Heavy Charged Assault Rifle
Firing a much heavier 11mm round, the LNC-3000 provides the stopping power that its cousin, the LNC-300, lacks. Though a lower ammunition capacity and higher weight make it less effective in prolonged missions, the special 11 millimeter round provides good penetration and a slightly increased range. Like the LNC-300, the 3000 has an ambidextrous safety and a two-stage trigger. It also comes with a CIS [See Below] Jack built into the sight, making it a perfect companion to the armored infantry trooper.

Ammunition: 11 millimeter (Armor-Piercing and Explosive rounds available)
Clip Size: 60
MSER: 200 meters
Weight: 10 lbs.
Cost: 2,500

EST-9000 Light Infantry Weapon
Having to deal with unarmored peasants during a police action? Riots breaking out due to your recent bout of anti-civil rights legislation? Watch too many horror movies as a small child before taking the helm of your nation? Well, the EST-9000 is the perfect weapon for you. Using advanced electromagnetic technology seen in many of Portaushi's products, the EST fires high-tension monomolecular carbo-fiber wire charged with a strong electromagnetic field. The result? A circular, blade-like projectile that can cut through most light armor and provide effective results as a short-range anti-infantry device. Ammunition sold separately.

Ammunition: High Tension Carbon-Filament Wire
Clip Size: 15
MSER: 75 meters
Weight: 9 lbs.
Cost: 4,000

HRSHM-A9138 Miniature Tactical Nuclear Device
When Dr. Alberto DeLance, a renowned "alternative physicist" came to Portaushi's weapons division, he brought with him the plans for a powerful implosive nuclear magnetic container device, which allowed us to build a two kiloton warhead into a package not much bigger than a grenade, despite all his whinging about how the device was meant to help STOP nuclear war. This devices are very low yield and produce minimal radioactive fallout. Used outdoors, tests show that radioactive aftereffects will last, at most, 24-48 hours. The device requires an external power source, usually contained in what Portaushi R&D has come to call as the "NUCOOLER," a rectangular storage unit which can hold up to eight HRSHM-A9138 devices. Once removed from the container, the MiniNukes have an effective lifespan of eight hours before they are rendered inert by special built in failsafes.

Weight (with NUCOOLER): 27 kilos
Cost (with NUCOOLER): 50,000

GH-11 "Crusader" Light Infantry Armor
Just as important to the successful waging of war as the ability to deal damage, is the ability of the infantryman to withstand the damage dealt and return home safely. That's where the Crusader armor system comes in. Built around a synthetic ceramic clamshell breastplate, with reinforced composite greeves and a kevlar under-tunic, the Crusader provides a great deal of protection without greatly limiting the movement of the normal infantryman. Further, the helmet has a built in radio communications suite, full-spectrum infrared and ultraviolet sensory gear and a Heads-Up Display for the referencing of maps and mission data. A face-mask (included) can be added to protect against most airborn biological and chemical contaminants and a geiger counter built into the wrist will keep the trooper safe from and quantum entanglements (get it?). The off-hand wrist can also be equipped with a short range plasma screen generator (extra) to give the trooper the edge in close-quarters combat. Comes equipped with a CIS, which can be connected via cable to any weapon equipped with a CIS Jack.

Cost (with PSG): 100,000
Cost (without PSG): 85,000

SCS9 Plasma Screen Generator
An innovative energy weapon developed recently in Portaushi's military research labs in <<CLASSIFIED>>istan, the Plasma Screen Generator creates a white-hot ball of plasma energy wrapped in a cool, protective magnetic shield. When the energy is released, the effects can be very, very devastating. Perfect for officer corps and armored troop support because of its small size and short range.

Weight: 1.5 lbs.
MSER: 30 meters
Cost: 15,000

Miscellaneous Systems
Miscellaneous Systems is Portaushi's biggest supplier of various important military items that really don't fit into any other category. Based in <<CLASSIFIED>>Land, the Miscellaneous Systems Corporate Offices are a mishmash of conflicting architectural styles, almost as though they were built as an afterthought to the core specializations which make it a great corporation. Below are some of Miscellaneous Systems' finest products.

Computer Interface System
The Computer Interface System is a key component many of Portaushi's military systems. Consisting of a small, dedicated computer and a connection cable, the CIS allows an infantryman or vehicle operator to create an interface between the Heads Up Display in his armor and the computer system that he is working with (be it a weapon or vehicle). This allows the following features.

Weapons: A virtual ammunition count, targetting highlights and mission objective highlights.

Vehicles; A virtual dashboard, allowing for greater control and manueverability thanks to reflex-to-action interpreters built into the vehicle jack.

Cost (Weapon Jack): 30,000
Cost (Vehicle Jack): 80,000
Cost (CIS Computer): 50,000

MS-209 Infantry Training Tapes
Perfect for countries with large conscript armies, the MS-209 series of training tapes is a core curriculum of subliminal hypnosis tapes which allows a new recruit to possess the skills of a seasoned boot camp graduate in less than half the time.*

*Please note, IT tapes do NOT confer actual combat training. Cease the use of tapes if subject shows signs of epileptic seizures, heart palpatations or impotence. Contact your local Surgeon General to see if IT tapes are right for you.

Basic Infantry Training tapes provide everything from proper weapons handling to customizable propaganda templates tailored by our trained psychologists from the Bureau of Mental Health and Waste Disposal in <<CLASSIFIED>>ia to produce an almost fanatical father-figure reaction in your soldiers. Other tapes include: Marksman training, Mess Duty, I Love Latrines, and Don't Ask, Don't Tell: The Hiding Game. Complex activies such as medical training and demolitions are available on a case by case basis. Buy these today and by tomorrow, you'll have a loyal army of cagey veterans ready to die at your whim.

Cost: 400 per tape.

Vehicles
Portaushi is not a country that looks fondly on the automotive industry. Because of that, the Department of Military and Civilian Production has become very ingenious in the creation of new vehicle technology. Below are some examples, recently available for sale.

MNG-002 "Mongoose" Light Transport Vehicle

The old ways are often the best ways, at least that's what we say here at
Portaushi R&D, and its the old ways that have brought us the MNG-002 armored
infantry transport. Built from older, unarmed transport trucks, the MNG-002 adds
several layers of composite armor capable of resisting most small arms fire. Though
it provides no protection against armor-penetrating or high explosive munitions,it's
often enough to protect your soldiers against hostile civilian groups, such as local
militias and revolutionary forces. Its armored troop box holds up to a single
platoon of armored fighting men, along with their gear and ammunition. The truck's
cab holds one other person aside from the driver. The passenger seat is equipped
with special "firing-nets" which allow the passenger to open the door for use as cover
while leaning out to fire at hostiles. The Mongoose is not, perhaps, the prettiest
or the toughest vehicle on the field, but it's a reliable piece of machinery that'll
get your boys there and back again.

Cost: 30,000

LND-FSH "LandFish" Amphibious Assault Vehicle

Amphibious assault has always been a key component to victory (except against land-locked
nations). The LandFish is Portaushi's contribution to the amphibian arena. Based on
an electromagnetic repulsor coil, the LandFish can reach a skimming altitude of roughly
two to three meters above nearly any surface, making it a perfect device for both choppy
seas and rugged terrain. Mounted with a WYRAK Grenade Dispersal System (see below) and a pair
of point-defense 50-cal. machine guns for anti-infantry capability, the Landfish's main weapon comes
in the form of a STS (Surface-to-Surface) Missile rack, which holds twenty missiles in one of five
different styles (high-explosive anti-personnel, sonic concussive, high-density armor-piercing,
high-energy incendiary, and EMP scrambler). Two 60mm cannons round out the Landfish's impressive arsenal.
Five crewmen are required to operate the Landfish, including three gunners, a pilot, and a navigator.
The LandFish comes equipped with a CIS Jack for the pilot and the gunner in control of the missile system.

Cost: 600,000

SKM-800 "Skimmer" Light Infantry Support Vehicle

The Light Infantry Support Vehicle is a new design class fresh out of Portaushi's
R&D labs and the Skimmer is one of our first successful models. Consisting of a low-slung,
narrow body that most would associate with a civilian motorcycle, the Skimmer runs on
a powerful hover generator, providing enough thrust to achieve limited, low-altitude flight.
(10-20 meters suggested flight ceiling). Piloted by a skilled infantryman with a CIS rig, the Skimmer
can provide a much needed boost to the firepower that a single infantry platoon can bring to bear with its
WYRAK grenade system and a pair of twin .50-cal machine guns. Its speed and maneuverability are a bit more
than many infantryman can handle, however, and it's suggested that special training be instituted before
deployment. The Skimmer comes equiped with a CIS Jack.

Cost: 50,000

VT-2911 Vertical Infantry Support Walker

Slow and cumbersome, yes, but the VT-2911 is a perfect garrison support vehicle. Based on "Verticle Walker"
technology, the VT-2911 stands tall (no pun intended) as a defensive weapon. Piloted by a team of two operators,
a pilot and gunner, the VT-2911's armament consists of a pair of "super-machine gun" High-Velocity miniguns,
a ten-pack of missiles in all available styles, and two .50-cal machine guns (we had a surplus). Specially designed
anti-infantry explosives have been mounted in the leg. Properly, used, these will do no damage to the Walker itself
while causing massive amounts of pain to unarmored infantry foolish enough to attack it. Welcome to the future of
warfare.

Cost: 800,000

0000 "Land Shark" Heavy Assault Tank

The Land Shark is the product of years of research and development in the arena of warfare.
Developed as a heavy tank design, the Land Shark's main problems lie in its rather low
ground speed and the fact that, unlike lighter models provided by Portaushi, it can't be air dropped.
The four-man tank (which can also carry a single fire team of infantrymen, with armor and equipment)
more than makes up for that failing in the areas of firepower and armor. Using a new, highly advanced
molecular composite material, the Land Shark is almost impervious to most small arms and light explosives.
It takes something in the order of a rocket launcher or Air-to-Ground missile to completely disable one of these
babies. It's armament consists of a 120mm charged cannon based around the same electromagnetic accelerator technology
found in Portaushi's LNC-300 series of personal assault rifles. Two kinds of ammunition can be purchased for the
120mm cannon, an armor-piercing nickel slug or a high-density shaped charged encased in EASYSHATTER (TM) ceramic shrapnel
casing. Two manned one-shot rocket launchers, combined with a pair of (you guessed it) .50-cal machine guns, provide
anti-infantry support. Further, for the protection of your crew and your secrets, each Land Shark is equipped with a special
Electronic Counter-Measures suite tied to the pilot's console. The ECM suite consists of radio and radar jamming systems, heat
baffles and a last-resort EMP detonator.

Cost: 9,000,000

NP-19 "Sparrow" Jet Fighter

In mythology, the sparrow is a herald of death. Now, it has the same connotation in warfare.
The Sparrow is the work-horse jet fighter of the new era, with a powerful jet engine capable of
nearing Mach 3.5, it can outmaneuver most heavier fighters while out-shooting most lighter.
A 90mm charged cannon provides most of it's firepower, while missile racks holding eight missiles give
it a little extra boost. Perfect for almost any situation.

Cost: 15,000,000

NP-22 "Owl" Stealth Fighter

The Owl is our leading stealth fighter unit, equipped with much of the same load-out as the popular
NP-19 "Sparrow" the owl is a much more specialized unit. Mounting a small 60mm autofire cannon and a
telephoto camera array as its primary weapon, the Owl also includes 4 Scrambler EMP missiles and an extra
two spots on the rack for a little extra firepower. The remaining space in the plane is taken up by a
powerful ECM suite, which includes extremely powerful heat-baffles, radar and radio jamming, and a nifty black-and-green
NV camo paint job designed to break up the planes out-line when viewed by night-vision.

Cost: 16,000,000

X2098 "Phoenix" Bomber

The Phoenix Bomber is our pride and joy. This huge plane lacks jet capability and isn't very stealthy, but it's ability
to carry almost a kiloton of explosives makes it a workhorse for air strikes. It's defenses include four point-defense machine
guns and a pair of forward facing rocket launchers, giving it just enough firepower to hold off hostile aircraft while it drops
its bombs.

Cost: 32,000,000

X2099 "Roc" Bomber

Our heaviest bomber to date, the Roc can lay down 1.5 kilotons of explosives. It lacks stealth, subtlety and defense, so its usually
accompanied by an X2100 Air Carrier and an escort of fighters, but the devastation that it leaves in its wake is enough to give anyone pause.

Cost: 32,000,000

X2100 "Pegasus" Air Carrier

We've never built a bigger plane. This enormous creature is the pride and joy of the Portaushi air force and, for a nominal price, it can
be the pride and joy of your air force as well. Contained within its hull is a special "bomb rack" fighter launch technology that allows it to hold
up to three squads (that's fifteen planes) of NP-19 or NP-22 fighters, making it a perfect launching point for aerial strikes and a great escort
for bombing runs. It's own defenses consist of eight point defense machine guns, four rocket launchers and a single, three-pack missile tube fitted for
special High-Explosive 1 kiloton warhead missiles. And they said that bumblebees couldn't fly.

Cost: 80,000,000

Special Weapons and Ammunition

WYRAK Grenade System

The WYRAK Grenade System is a perfect addition to any vehicle. Consisting of three ports, the WYRAK is completely computer
controlled and fires 40mm High-Explosive grenades at regular intervals, maximizing their destructive capabilities and often leaving wide holes
in enemy ranks. Normal, vehicle mounted WYRAKs contain 20 grenades for each port, and also maintain a manual control system is more subtlety is desired.
A special, infantry version of the WYRAK is available, but it eschews manual control and is only compatible with a CIS equipped suit of armor.

Defenses
In today's world of terrorism and objective raids, the military is more than just a weapon to expand your borders.* It is your nation's shield, its one defense against the aggression of your neighbors. Below is a list of some new defensive systems to help protect your people from the big, bad world.

*End User Agreements prohibit using Portaushi Department of Military and Civilian Production products to expand one's borders into Portaushi. All contracts and punitive nuclear strikes apply.

AEGIS
Automated Encephelomatic Garrison Interior Security units, otherwise known as SecuriBots, are powerful robots designed to protect your cities and fortresses from crime, terrorism and treasonous proliteriat revolutionaries. All SecuriBots use a hover-track motive system, have a Satisfactory Intelligence logic system as well as cameras, infrared scanners, high-powered radio and radar systems, chemical weapons sniffers and a non-lethal electric pain-response weapon (Cattle prod). The Civilian model is equipped with twin 9mm sub-machine guns with an internal ammunition reservoir. They also possess an expanded chemical sniffer capable of detecting most kinds of narcotics. Military models replace the SMG with a more powerful pair of LNC-300 Assault Rifles. They lack the expanded chemical sensor but do mount extra composite armor, giving them a lot more staying power in a stand-up fight.

Cost (Civilian): 100,000
Cost (Military): 200,000

HOUND
Named for their distinctive quadrupedal design, HOUND SecuriBots are the perfect choice for hunting fugitives and protecting mobile base camps. First of all, they can be stored in an easily portable rack. Secondly, their advanced sensors and memory modules allow them to track the traces of a specific individual with up to five days worth of distance between them before the trail becomes too cold. Finally, their armament is not limited only to the single LNC-300 mounted on their back, their "teeth" and "claws" are high-strength, very sharp synthetic-diamond coated blades capable of tearing through flesh, bone and light armor. A variation, the HOUND-II, adds a thermoptic camouflage unit that makes it nearly invisible in most environments.

Cost: 250,000
Cost (HOUND-II): 400,000

OMEGA
The OMEGA is our heaviest defensive model and one of the most powerful SecuriBots on the market. Built in a humanoid design, it can be used as a back up to "Vertical Walkers" and other humanoid vehicle units. The OMEGA mounts several powerful weapons, including twin LNC-3000 Assault Rifles, with underslung 40mm grenade launchers. A WYRAK mount is available for fighting off those inexorable barbarian hordes. The OMEGA also mounts a powerful, Surface-to-Surface "Tank Killer" three-shot missile pack, giving it enough firepower to hold off the most determined assault on an entrenched fortification.

Cost: 500,000

TN-371 Light Machine Turret
Built around a .50 cal machine gun with an internal reservoir, the TN-371 is a powerful anti-infantry defensive weapon. It's sensor pack includes infrared and (optional) weapons sniffers. An IFF chip can also be installed, making sure that only authorized personell are allowed into your facility. A combination of these features can be used to restrict access to weapons in the location, making the TN-371 a perfect front door guard. Like all turrets, there is also a manual remote control system.

Cost: 80,000

TN-421 Sniper Turret
Equipped with a special .406 Ramjet rifle, this turret fires a heavy, high-velocity armor piercing shell out to a maximum range of nearly 400 meters. Placed in a high defensive position, this can ensure that hostile vehicles never make it anywhere near your position. It is suggested that the turret be placed far from your position, however, as its ammunition contains highly explosive jet fuel.

Cost: 95,000

TN-379 Plasma Turret
It should be noted that this defense system is NOT designed to be used against surface targets, as it hurls a giant ball of plasma wrapped in an unstable magnetic field. The resultant blast can do serious damage to your own defenses if improperly used. Instead, a bank of the TN-379s can provide ample protection from air raids and orbital strikes. These are highly volatile weapons, however, and very large, meaning that someone who doesn't have a large area to protect may want to consider one of our smaller models.

Cost: 300,000

Orbital Defense Construct
Perfect for space defense, the ODC is a medium-sized space station built with a wide range of defensive systems, including a screen of point-defense laser weapons, two TN-379 Plasma Turrets and a special long-range kinetic shield, which defends a ten mile radius of a planet's surface from any kind of energy weapons bombardment. Several of these operating in series could theoretically protect an entire planet. Each ODC comes with a Microwave Transmitter which can be hooked up to any operating power plant and will transmit energy to the Construct.

Cost: 65,000,000

"City Father" Urban Control Computer
Built around an advanced Artificial Intelligence, the City Father UCC is the perfect defensive coordinator. Capable not only of taking over the defense systems of an entire urban region, the City Father can also automate many of the menial jobs necessary to keep a city running smoothly, including taxi service and public transportation, sanitation, road maintenance and basic police services. The City Father comes equipped with a telecommunications grid that allows it to access regional computer networks and provides digital access for whatever sector of the populace that you want to give it to.

Cost: 1 Billion

New Weapons

The M-222 MASER
One of our newest designs, the MASER is a powerful close support back-up weapon for infantry. Built around a special broad-band electromagnetic generator, the MASER produces a broad spectrum burst of energy on just about every wavelength above and below visible light. Due to a scatter effect of the electromagnetic fields produced, the MASER is a devastating weapon at close ranges, frying computer equipment and metal weapons and armor while baking the target within its own skin, but it loses a great deal of power as it nears its maximum effective range (roughly 100 meters), making it a close combat weapon. The MASER can be built into GH-11 Combat armor, replacing the Plasma Screen mount.

Cost: 30,000
