Should the minimum wage for teens be increased. just think about it, if a teen is going to be getting more money for working the same amount of hours, dont you think that the minimum wage should be increased? look at all of the teens that will be more apt to working and not relying on parents for money. COME ON PEOPLE.

[OOC: There are a lot of ways to answer this, but when I lived in Maine, they had something called a "student's minimum wage," where some employers would pay a rate that was significantly lower than the federal minimum wage at the time (this was 1989-90). Only some employers did that, though.
It's not an easy question and it needs more than a simplistic answer, but that's the subject for a column I've written.]
