It has been a while since the last technological jump, that of deveolping the MindLink nodes and cyborg technology; but like our motto: Hard work pays off. Moontian has finally developed its own subspace drive.
When Moontian first bought hyperspace engines from Capsule Corp., we studied every last detail, and found that it would be theoretically possible to jump not to hyperspace, but to subspace, using a similar device. This would allow us to effectively teleport from one point to another. After much testing, a subspace drive has been fitted to a Heronmark to be tested in the field.
Our device operates by opening a hole in the fabric of space-time. The size of the hole is determined by the amount of power it can draw. However, since this drive consumes a lot of power, it can only be used a few times in any voyage.
