The conferance room was a dark structure within the torrants of subspace. Oxygen had to be taken from Real space to insure some of the species that were attending would not suffocate. The Shivan delegate was simply standing in the centre of the room awaiting the arrival of the others. Warships had been dispatched two days ago to bring represenatives tot he conferance that would seel the fate of humanity.

Three Mekantan ships, all unique types, all dropped into Shivan subspace at once. They arrived in different areas, thier sophisticated scanners picking up information on Shivan facilities and the spacial physics of the Shivan realm. Mekanta's new mastery of transpatial physics was serving them well.

Now Mekanta could drop in anywhere in Shivan space, now that they knew its specifications, to help thier allies.

OOC: Well iam going to begin the rp soon because i need it done and fast so iam just going to pretend the other delegates are here to speed things up a little.

IC: The IB Shivan delegate paced around the room, gravity was working to the shivans distaste however the guests must be kept happy. The shivan began to talk. It's screeches and yepls were translated into a language the others could understand.
As the Shivan paced around the small circle in the middle of the meeting room it looked at each delegate. "Imagine, the power to destroy an entire world at whim. We have developed that capability and are in the process of finilasing the construction of our prototype. We ask our fellow allies if they will honour our bond in spirit and ideology to aid us construct the full version if this prototype works."

Here is a holoimage of the prototype. At current it is in a hidden sector of real space though the full version will be constructed here. Though we could construct this on our own, time is short we only have a short period before the humans rally to each others defence. We must begin their extermination before they finalise ours.

The triumvirate of Mekantan science AIs, pointing information to and from Mekanta constantly, nod at once. They speak in unison, a quirk constant in all science triumvirates when dealing with anyone not a Mekantan science robot.

"We wish to know how this weapon operates."

The weapon works on the bases of a stellar converter, a known weapon to most races, however we have upgraded it. With our knowladge of temporal physics we have begun utilizing a temporal core to amplify the output of the beam, only a temporal core will give us the sufficient energy necessary to destroy a world. Normal power sources wont work unless we increase the size of the weapon to that of a small moon which at this point in the war is impractical. The more secret details will remain cionfidential witht he Imperium however we require the assistance of the Mekanta industrial power to begin construction of a full version, if the prototype works as planned.

Of course the prototype is only a small scale version so we can expect a large trench approximately 5km in width and 2km in depth for as long as the weapon fires. Testing of the prototypes is expected to begin in 89 Micraints (18 hours)

Strangely, the three robots begin to speak seperately.

"What are the planned defences for the superweapon?"

"Any plans for onboard fighter squadrons?"

"By our calculations, given the current status of the design, it would take some time to move in and out of subspace. Any plans to work around this?"

IC: The superweapon will not have any onboard defences except for the primary weapon. No fighters squadrons will be present in it's hull. and finaly the initial weapon will be constructed in Subspace. to shorten travel time. We now must ask for a definite answer, if you will not help us someone else will.

"Yes. Mekanta will assist."

"We will aid of course"
"How will the weapon be tested?"
"And on who?"
The shivan language was again translated for everyone to hear and understand

As we speak the prototype is being prepared for launch, we will test this weapon on Earth. We will have direct audio,telemetry and video information so you may witness its success or faliure in person.

excellent, the plans are moving forward even faster than expected. We will of course be jumping the entire populace into subspace to aid in the construction and protection of this weapon. Our entire species would be glad to become full time allies of yours not just mercs.

Oh yeah i almost forgot: there was a revolt on my homeworld and the entire human populace was wiped out, the robots are now in control.

Excellent. Representatives may i give you the testing of the prototype. Once again the centre of the room became one big holo projection showing in great detail the swathe being cut down the american continents.

We will now begin the large scale weapon, which we will use on our enemies. Follow me please gentleman. The lead Shivan led the representatives into a large shuttle which accelerated for some time, after about 12 Micains (ten minutes) the shuttle slowed and out of the right hand window a vast shipyard could be seen. Construction it seemed had already began.

"Interesting..."

The three Mekantan AIs nod at once, again speaking in unison.

"Very well. If you will give us the specifications, Mekanta pledges to construct no less than 40% of the station. Perhaps more, if needed."

The three humans of the Thunderstraater delegation wore enormous breathing masks, the augmented air they carried in backpack tanks filling their bodies, eliminating fatigue, increasing reflex speed, and, above all, not corroding their insides out. They were resplendent in their khaki naval uniforms, the lightning-on-nebula emblem of the Imperial Thunderstraater Navy glowing with its own light.

Fleet Admiral Jakob de Groot leaned forward. The speakers on the front of the bulky helmet crackled to life, and his voice came out, amplified into a half-human, half-robotic tone.

"The Star Empire will probably agree to build our own. We may not build them as fast but we will build them, and deploy them with our own superweapons. If you will transfer to us the plans, we will give one to you."

The design specifications will not be transfered to any nation as time is too short. The ESUS alliance is now aware of what we are constructing we must hurry. The Imperium requires resources to construct the weapon. Our shipsyard can easily cope with the construction, however in this time of war resources are limited. We require as much Titanium Tri-Silicate as possible. to construct the outer hull of the vessel. If we fail and the enemy forces begin to attack us here, plans for the weapon will be given to each ally so they can strike back at our enemies.

OOC: More than one superweapon will be ignored.

IC: The raw materials necessary for the construction of the weapon had had been recieved for many weeks now. The Shivan Imperium was now very close to achieving its goal, all reports on the construction where good news. The weapon was being constructed within the time allotted the most recent progress report was that the weapon was 72% complete all that was needed was the internal components, as well as the driver assembly and the war would be won.

The shipyards were working above peak efficency this war had sparked a vast need for more and newer warships which the imperium had to deliver.
