Central Svenmark

The Federation of Svenmark, comprised of West Svenmark, East Svenmark, North Svenmark, South Svenmark, Central Svenmark and Outer Svenmark, was formed in 2004, bringing together a group of nations with mutual aims and interests, a shared heritage and a longing to be united.
The beautiful island of Svenmark is situated to the west of Norway and its geography is typically Scandinavian, ranging from dramatic fjords in the west to mount ranges and uncountable lakes in the east.
Official languages of the island include Norwegian, Swedish, Danish and Finnish, as well as English. Work is underway at Stronthersen University on the development of a Scandanavian language-based lingua franca.
Healthy living is the order of the day and virtually every house boasts a sauna and every street has exercise facilities. Pollution is a minor issue for the island, with acid rain attacking the pine forests that once covered the whole land. Major industries include sustainable forestry, aviation and motor manufacture and tourism.
The armed forces are organised into one entity, SvenFor, which co-ordinates the defence of the region in line with the states' strategy of self-defence while preserving the strict philosophy of neutrality incorporated into each state's constitution.
The nations of Svenmark are generally liberal in outlook and progressive in nature. Great efforts are taken to ensure that opportunities are not denied to any sector of society and that those with power and wealth act responsibly.
We look forward to you visiting our great Scandanavian style-liberal experiment!
