Just an idea here.....how about creating an Offical N.S. Armory that is run by a nation (non-mod) electid by the I.I. fourm users insted of all the privetly run armory's that MUST be cloging up the server and i know that a lot of people put a lot of work into there armory's for them to be forgotin in a few weeks and eventuly dealeted. So why dont all the people who have made Armory's get together and create an offical one and get the MODS to stickey it. sory bout my bad spelling cant type at 4 am w/o eney sleep

Who said he was making fun of anyone, Ryanania? I am glad people correct my spelling if I mispell something - that way in the future I know how to spell it correctly. The only one that needs to grow up here is you, Ryanania, resorting to personal attacks as quickly as you have is very unethical and shows a complete lack of tact on your part. I dont think one big official armory would work too well, but maybe a list of everything that anyone is selling and a link to their storefront in a sticky would work.

Such a proposal would not go through because people enjoy role-playing their own 'armories' or 'storefronts'. A single collective one would not each nation their own profits, and a large part of the creativeness and 'funness' factor would be eliminated.

Furthermore, I don't know of anyone's 'armories' being deleted. There are posts from back in December + that are still on the servers for International Incidents, and not that many people make storefronts (and actually stick around afterwards).

I'm going to stand up for people whether you like it or not. It was obvious that he was getting a jab in with that comment. If the guy was making massive errors, I could see correcting him as a friendly act, but when it's just one word, and it was clearly a typo, it's obvious that it's not just a friendly correction.

And also, if one player gets elected to run it, then it is inevitable that those who oppose the person elected for whatever reason - they weren't elected, they are at war, they hate each other, etc - will refuse to let their stuff be sold there, and make a rival "armoury"....

Well...There's the international mall, which is an offsite version of what you describe. Lots of people maintain storefronts there, where there is no fear of them being deleted, or the need to bump a topic every hour just to keep in on page six.

Instead of an NS armory, how about a thread that contains the stats for most of the common military items that are floating around the game. This probably wouldn't cover modified equipment, but it could be a quick reference for people when they're looking up stats for the Abrams, T90, AK-47, M-16, Eurofighter, Mig 29, F-15, etc....
