"We interrupt you're regularly scheduled programming to bring you an important news story," says a man dressed in a fine suit, sitting behind a large desk,"Approximately 15 minutes ago, while walking from the Ministry of International Relations building, where he was discussing a reformation of the Ferratian judicial system, back to the capitol building, the Emperor James IV was killed by a sniper's bullet."

V ideo of the assassination rolls. The Emperor, surrounded by bodyguards is walking across the street to the capitol building. The crack of a rifle can be heard, immediately two of the bodyguards dive infront of the Emperor and another tackles him to the ground. The first round hits both diving bodyguards in midair and continues thorugh the Emperor's shoulder. Another shot is fired, hitting a thrid guard in the back, and continuing into the Emperors left temple. The video stops and the man appears on the screen again.

"The city of Bellatrix is in turmoil. Many of the provincial governors are declaring themselves emperors and kings. The Minister of Defense has taken control of the 4th Mechanized Division, II Corps, stationed at Johnson Army Base on the outskirts of Bellatrix. Armored personnel carriers are rolling into the city as we speak in an atempt to stop any riots within the city. Most of the military still remains under the control of the Ministry of Defense, but a few divisions have declared the alliegence to various provincial governors."

The man looks to someone out of view of the camera, and reaches off the screen. His hand returns holding a piece of paper. He stares at the paper and begins to speak, "I have recieved a request from the Ministry of Defense to issue this statement, 'The official Governemnt of Ferratus requests any assistance other nations in the area can give. We are already running short on foodstuffs, and we have recieved word that many of our government warehouses, containing emergency rations have been burned and destroyed by rioters. We may also requre military aid, as it is yet to be seen how much of our military remains loyal to the official government of Ferratus.'

The reporter sets down the paper on his desk, and the image changes to an image of the city, Port of Hippurus, the largest port in Ferratus. The reporters starts talking, "This is a view from our live camera in the Port of Hippurus. The city lies on the border between two provinces governed by very influential leaders. The entire 1st Marine Expeditionary Force and the 9th Armored Division have declared their allegience to Paul Jones, governor of the western province, and the 7th armored and 5th mechanized divisions have declared their alligience to the young Lord Alfred Willingham, the governor of the eastern province. They have been fighting within the city, and the entire south-eastern sector lies in ruins. The battle is continuing to spread to other parts of the city."

The camera switches back to Bellatrix. "We take you now to a live camera outside our studios," the reporter says nervously, "A mob has gathered and is attempting to climb the fence to our auxiliary power generation facilities, they do not appear to be having much success..."

The screen flickers and is filled with static.

the holy empire of chatamaran sends in 45 of there special forces 30 sas and 15 vatican guard. who infiltrate your harbor (a harbor of your choice) and start massacring the rebels with a combination of m-60 and hk g-36 fire. followed by fifty cal. fire from patrol boats off the coast. As this is happening a blackhawk helo escorted by 2 commanche helo's inserts a crack squad of imperial guard to your M.O.D. to negotiate for the use of your airbase. and the removal of selected rebel leaders. meanwhile i will transfer 500,000 dollars to your accounts.

Plz note: i am new to rp and jens so i know only what i know about special forces not sure if i need to buy any forces for this to take effect.

We thank you for your assistance, Chatamaran, but we would prefer an attempt at pacification of the rebels, rather than a massacre. Most of the infantry fighting in the port city of Hippurus, and around the country for that matter, are members of our armed forces, so we would like to preserve as many of their lives as possible. With the military that remains loyal to the official government we are working on pacifying the rebels in our capitol city. Your special forces would be best used for capturing the provincial governors leading the fighting in Hippurus and also the field commanders of the combat divisions. That is, if your forces are up to this task. We can send a few of our Phoenix Guard to assist, but most of them are busy in other parts of the country.

We'd like to extend Ferratus $250 million USD in military aid. The catch, of course, is that said aid comes in the form of Juumanistran hardware. ooc: Would you be adverse to an infiltration and recon? I'm not really ready to pick sides based on the info given yet your writing style looks good and I am interested. It'd be a covert insertian. Etheir by modified B-2 (paradrop from a stealth plane at 50 000ft) or submersible, if the river next to your capital allows. Option two is perferable but not if thats a shallow river.

One of the commanders of the rebelling divisions, Brigadier General Lewis, CO of the 4th Armored Brigade, 9th Division, II Corps has been causing us some trouble for quite some time, and now he has sided with governor Paul Jones, one of our (the official governments) least liked governors. The Brigadier General would be a prime cantidate to be "made an example of." And, lets jsut say that if Governor Jones were to accidently be killed during a mission to apprehend him, we would not pursue the matter further.

We've got 125 JCFV-1 Centaur units shipping to Ferratus as we speak. The JCFV-1 is close enough to the M2 to fudge the difference, though her OUTLAW ATGM fire-control system might present a bit of a learning curve.

We'd also like to send a team of observers to render any assistence possible with the Centaur as well as record its combat performance.

We would greatly appreciate as many as possible be airlifted to Bellatrix AFB where crew from the 4th Mechanized could put them into service as soon as possible. We can also send our 3rd Airlift group, consisting of 2 C-5 galaxy cargo aircraft to carry a few additional vehicles.

For the vehicles to be transported by sea, they would probably be the most useful in our main port city of Hippurus, but that city is currently a battlefield, so we will inform you while the vehicles are enroute of the final destinaiton if that is ok with you.

PORT OF HIPPURUS (FINN) - We have recieved reports that commanding officers of many of the brigades fighting in the port city of Hippurus have been captured, and the provincial Governor Paul Jones was killed during a raid on his private villa in central Ferratus. Further information will be given as soon as it is recieved.

Belladrix AFB it is; the first of our C-455 planes should arrive within the hour with the first of 45 airlifted JCFV-1s.

As for the remaining sealifted units, we can muster five armored and urban control battalions on short notice to land with the cargo to ensure their arrival, as well bolster the Ferratusian presence in the city, should our assistence be desired.

thank you again for the assistance Juumanistra, we will do our best to secure at least enough piers surrounding facilities to recieve your shipment before it arrives. After the capture of many of the commanding officers of one group of rebels in the city, we have regained control of most of the 9th Armored and will use them to secure the south-eastern sector of the city, where most of the piers are located.

For future reference: your bodyguards wouldn't have reacted quickly enough to jump in front of the emperor, since the bullet would arrive before the crack of the rifle.

A satellite is being launched into geo-synchronizes orbit above the theatre now.

The two B-2s glided together through the sky at fifty thousand feet. This was the second time Larson had flown a B-2 striped of its armaments into hostile territory. The two B-2s began to slowly drift apart as their straight line course took them apart from each other with one flying straight to the Port of Hippurus and the other towards the capital. Larson knew that no infra-red or radar was going to see him but he held his breath every time he crossed that threshold. With no way to really tell if they’d noticed him without giving his position away he continued a top speed.

Over the port city he could see most of the fighting had stopped, which was a problem because he needed them to be fighting each other to not notice the commandoes. Relaying the situation to the squad commander he proceeded, opening the bomb bay doors the troops leapt from the plane and sailed towards the earth. At the last possible moment the troops pulled their cords and glided the next couple thousand feet for a touch down. Larson turned and began a direct line exit path from the country. The bomber in the capital had been told to do the exact same thing, the only trouble was it had more distance to cover.

On the ground the team commander checked his suit’s HUD.
“Shit we have company looks like they noticed us coming down. Blow that manhole we are going to ground.” With that a shaped charge was placed on the manhole and seconds later it blew inwards leaving a fecal invested escape route for the commandoes.
“I’ve never been so glad that this suit is a contained environment in my live.” Their helmets crackled with the smart assed comment by on of the men. With that they disappeared into the sewers.

BELLATRIX (FINN) - We have recieved several images of the late Brigadier General Lewis, of the 4th Armored Brigade, 9th Division, II Corps. We will air these images as soon as power is restored to our TV broadcasting station in Bellatrix(which the engineers report should be soon). The general's body was, shal we say, dissected and placed on public display in Hippurus. The governemtn claims to have no knowledge of this, but many of our analysts believe they ordered it done. This demonstration has scared the remaining 4 brigades of the 9th Armored division into siding with the so called "official government" headed by the Minister of Defense.

And, if I'm not mistaken, it seems that there are about ten different nations sending Normandy sized invasion forces to your nation to defeat some rebels. I'm not trying to tell you how to run your role play, but if I were you, I'd think that this is getting a little out of hand.

This is commander osini i intercepted your broadcast and am on my way with our pave low and apache gunships. please note that we will be mining the major roadways so ask before you tread. our panzerfrauts should be able to handle the armour in a guerrilla situation. but we will need backup.

The commandos now working as one large squad. moved out to the pave low and grabbed diffrent equipment load outs and some shut eye on the way out. once they arrived they disembarked and sent out scout sniper squads to work on the terrian familirazation. as scout sniper squad one spotted the enemy refuelling depot he called in support from the base camp to bring up the oicw gunners. they came to the line and slowly put beads on there targets. then the whispered command came over there mics "fire" and so it was that the enemy refuelling depot went up in flames. they then preceded to mercilessly kill the survivers

ooc: remember the situation is that most of these people are citizens of Ferratus, so we dont want to fight them like would figh another country. We're mostly trying to keep peace. But, if they persist on attacking and being violent, we're sure going to return the favor ;)

If Ferratus allowes us to, we'd like to send a military expeditionary force to assist you in stabilizing the country and in evacuating Falangist Reich citizens currently on your soil

We will gladly allow an expedition from Falangist Reich to assist in stabilization of the country. We will also allow you to evaccuate your citizens if you wish. According to our Ministry of Immigration, most of your citizens are staying in central Ferratus, north of Bellatrix. If you would be willing, we could use a police force in that area. Central Ferratus was least affected by the recent events, but we have recieved reports of small riots and uprisings. A small police force in the area would help allevieate this situation.

We'll send a battalion of our security forces. They are trained in handling these kind of situations. Howewer, we'll also dispatch a naval force consisting of 1 destroyer, 6 corvettes and 1 LPD. We'll also send a squadron of 12 Su37s and 8 SU39s

Your help is greatly appreciated, we will grant you use of any of our 3 airbases for the duration of this conflict.

*5 C17s, 12 Su37s and 8 Su39s and land on Bellatrix airforce. A FR Security Forces Mechanized Response Battalion aboard C17s quickly secures the airbase. Then the C17s leave to ferry additional personnel and vehicles. Meanwhile, a naval expeditionary force composed of Reich-class destroyer Thor, 6 Sa'ar V-class corvettes and LPD Sturm leave from their base at Avalon to Ferratus. There are lots of soldiers aboard these ships. Many crewmembers wonder what unusually equipped helicopters and several soldiers dressed in black uniforms and their faces blacked are doing on the ship. Intelligence service recon aircrafts fly recon flights across Ferratus. Some of these planes are equipped with PSYOPS and EW gear. They send TV and radio transmissions on German aimed at Falangist Reich citizens, giving them instructions on how to act*

HIPPURUS (FINN) - After weeks of fighting in Hippurus, an agreement between the 'official government' of Ferratus and the forces under the control of provincial governor Lord Alfred Willingham. They have declared a ceasefire and returned control of what is left of the 7th armored and 5th mechanized divisions. The government has released reports that they have oredered new vehicles to fill the gaps in these units. There is peace once again in souther Ferratus. The cities of Bellatrix, Hippurus, Nereus, Tyche, Aesculaplus, Hephaestus, Aeolus, Ferrarius, and Tolleno have officialy stated that they will support the 'official government.'
The Falangist Reich police force has prevented many riots and uprisings in Aeolus, Ferrarius, and Tolleno, and they have quicky dispersed riots that did form preventing damage to the cities.
In the north, fighting still continues as the few Ferratian and Chatamaranian units batlle northern citizens supplied with armor and rotary wing air support. The government is still unaware of the supplier of this military support but they say they are doing everyhting in their power to find out. They also say that the 5th and 7th Divisions, II Corps will be quickly deployed to the north as soon as they can be repaird and brought back to full strength.
Informants have also told us that most of the Elite Phoenxi Guard operating outside the country have been recalled to help deal with the present national threat. They have all sworn their allegiance to the 'official government.'

"Sir! Sir! Thats it, we've been mobilised! 1st, 22nd Division, Army Air and 54th Armoured have been mobilised" shouted Captain Thomas Rearing as he ran down the hallway of the 1st Division Headquarters to where General Sir Ian Whiting OTV. was walking. The General stopped in amazement. Could it really be true? He was being mobilised for the first time in his military career to a real combat zone?

"Where are we being sent Captain?"

"Some country called Farragut or Ferratus or something to help in some civil war conflict that they are caught in, sir"

"Another backward country I suppose?"

"No Captain, it's relatively industrialised with it's own military just some of it's military has decided to create havoc."

"That would never happen in Tagria. Thank God. It's all about the Majesty of Royalty my dear boy. We swear our oaths to the Queen and we do not dare break that oath out of honour and respect."

"When are we being mobilised?"

"Tonight, sir, we're the vanguard, 51st Battalion is being sent to secure the base. We'll be getting Close air Support and armour for this. I suppose the Government wants to get us involved in a conflict for some proper combat experience. All the training we do is useless if we don't experience it for real."

"Yes, Captain. Very true. How is the rest of the Expeditionary Force being sent? Surely not by Air?"

"No, Sir. They're being shipped. The admiralty kindly offered to send a task force to help as well. I suppose they also want to run shakedown cruises for their fleet just as badly as we want to test our new rifles, artillery and tanks. Air Force Command has agreed to help also, they'll be the first Tagrian Forces there."

"Interesting, well, begin issuing the orders, Captain, 51st, Full combat gear, Subterranean Fatigues, Combats, the basics. We'll have the rest of the equipment shipped over when we get there and we'll get supplies and the rest of the basics airlifted in. I want the troops mustered and dressed in the square for a talk before we go."

With that General Sir Ian Whiting turned back to get his equipment organised. He finally made it, the first Combat Command in Tagrian History.

Tagria had been very isolationist in it's foreign policy prior to the new Government under the new Prime Minister began taking a greater interest abroad in military matters. Rumour had it that the Queen had taken a very personal liking to the man, not intimately, but socially. Royal courtiers commented on how well they got on together and how they seemed as though they were friends for life.

With that he entered his barracks and shut his door...

BELLATRIX (FINN) - Now that the southern region of Ferratus has been pacified, the public's attention turns to the Minister of Defense, the current head of the government. The people want to know who will be crowned emperor of this new government, the previous emperor had no heirs. Some question whether the Minister of Defense will crown himself emperor, or otherwise declare himself head of the new government. It looks like we'll just have to wait and see.

BELLATRIX (FINN) - The Minister of Defense, Andrew Schmitt, addressed the public this afternoon. He stood on the front steps of the capitol building, surrounded by bodyguards. Snipers could be seen on the roofs surrounding the public square. Schmitt announced that he would retain control of the government, declaring himself Prime Minister. Unlike other nations in the area governed by Prime Minister, the nation of Ferratus will not have a parliment, so in essence, Schmott will become Emperor under a diferent title. He also announced that the fighting in the north is going well and many of the rebel keaders have been killed or captured.

BELLATRIX (FINN) - The Prime Minister has announced that all of the rebels in the north have surrendered and pledged their allegiance to the official government of Ferratus. He sends his thanks to all of the nations who assisted in this conflict. The 1st Infantry Division, II Corps will remain stationed in northern Ferratus to police the area.

Because situation has stabilized in Ferratus, the Armed Republic of Falangist Reich withdraws it's main forces from Ferratus. Howewer, a detachment from our elite SRET(Special Recovery and Elimination Team) troops will stay in our embassy just in case, if the it's OK for Ferratian government. Falangist Reich citizens have been debriefed at LPD Sturm and have been transported back to Ferratus. The airplanes have already headed home, and preparations for leaving of our naval taskforce is prepared. Howewer, if Ferratian government wishes more help, feel free to contact us.

We thank you for your assistance in securing central Ferratus, and are glad that you are allowing your citizens back within our borders. We have no objections to your troops remaining at your embassy.
