The numbers for the new election have been released and its official, the NNP has taken the majority in the House of Commons by a slim margin. The new seat allotment is as follows.

It first appeared that Tatsui Isobe would not be the majority PM after all but when two MPs from The Gun Club came across the floor in an unexpected move it tipped the scales and put Isobe in his majority position. This is the first time in history that a single party, without forming a coalition, has had a majority government. When asked exactly what this would mean to the Noviet populace professor of political science at UNHC Gail Sawyer had this to say, “Well the president and the Prime Minister don’t see eye to eye on domestic policy, meaning that congress will still have to break the tie in any major domestic decisions. The big change will be in our foreign policy with both President Lincoln and Prime Minister Isobe being devout military advocates we can expect to see much more foreign intervention. Most disturbing however is the President’s penchant for nation building. A reaction from the foreign community has not happened yet but backlash is expected as many foreign nations reacted badly to Isobe’s initial election and one can only wonder how they will react to his majority gov.

Sir I find this suggestion to be nothing more than surreptitious act on your part to foster dissent amongst our most noble elected officials. I would never dream of seizing this magnificent country as my own as it belongs to my Noviet brothers and sisters. We are working within the defined context of our constitution and will continue to do so, it is my belief that the Noviet people are best served by a responsible and accountable government.

Mining Labor Reform Act of 1964: Allowed the formation of unions. Reaffirmed the ban on striking. Set the minimum age to work in a mine to 14.

Deterrence of Crime Act of 1960: Reestablished the death penalty, and granted judges the option to select public hangings: Allowed for capital punishment for those convicted of the following crimes; murder, rape, robbery, burglary, assault, religious treason, treason against the government, racial treason, heresy, political dissension, political agitation, perjury, drug trafficking, trafficking in child pornography, counterfeiting, assisting non-whites in procuring firearms, and libel against the FWS government or government officials.

Annexation Act of May 18th, 2004. Annexed the “Disputed Zone” along the Mobutoland border with White Western Province into White Western Province. Mandated all non-whites leave the zone within 72 hours. The zone became part of FWS; in particular, it became part of White Western Province. The Zone was 1/3 the size of Montana.

Counter Insurgency Act of May 21st, 2004. Allowed the army to root out black radicals from “The zone” who had disobeyed the May 18th order to leave.


Annexation Act of May 31st, 2004. FWS declared Mobutoland to be the 7th Province of FWS. It is now being called White Coastal Province. The 4 million white settlers in the Province were tasked with setting up police forces and reserve units to keep the 36 million blacks in line. Eventually the 36 million blacks were to be sold off or allowed to move to Angola.


Reversion of the Annexation Act of May 31st, 2004. FWS declared Mobutoland to be free and independent from FWS. With total sovereignty and complete independence. Furthermore, the Act required that all white settlers in Mobutoland leave immediately and move back to FWS.

Although the Technocracian government is no friend of fascism, we accept the people's right to vote in Nova Hope, and we can't argue with their government if it was democratically elected and not too extremist.

However, we urge them to not listen to the suggestions of the Fascist White States, as we must remember this is possibly one of the most hated nations on NS, and it would be a bad idea to go down that same path.

No I am very much in favor of TAPRES, as is the president. With the two of us believing that this is a good thing it will go forward without the squables of the unaligned congress. I have begun speaking to S Prime and he supports a Noviet idea for our flagship project. This will be a national symbol for Nova Hope and a proud accomplishment for TAPRES. We will anounce it once the alliance is in full swing.
