Today, Parliament voted to create a monarchy led by the Placard family though the Parliament will keep power also. The former presidential powers shall be turned over to the new Empress Joan Placard. She had releasead the following line of sucession.

1: Prince George Placard II (Empress's son)
2: Princess Stacey Placard-Zimmerman (Empress's daughter)
2: Prince Paul Placard (Empress's son)
3: Prince Zacharias Placard (Empress's son)
4: Lady Jo Ann Placard (Prince George II's only child and a singer)
5: Joint Rule of Emperor Hendrick Rhodes and Empress Sarah Rhodes (Princess Stacey's daughter) of FWS
6: Lord Jacob Placard-Zimmerman (Princess Stacey's son)

(NOTE: The rest of Princess Stacey's childrean as well as allof Prince Paul's children are under the age of 16 so aren't counted.)

Prime Minister Ylonda Galapagos-Nahru crowned the family but a public coronation celebration is in the works. Also, marrraige offers to number 1, 3, 4, and 6 can be made here. Oh and the Empress is unmmaried.

Technocracia is becoming increasingly worried by the events which are taking place in the Land of Alex. Do not forget that your nation emerged from a dictatorship, and we sent troops as police to help your new nation. Another dictatorship would be against the interests of the people.

A civil war ws feared so the parties drew up this new plan of government. Also, the people are pleased that this may bring stability; our nation works in the intrest of the people.
