Nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize
As of sixteen days ago, Abu Dhival, President of the Socialist Union of Galdania and Chairman of the Galdanian Socialist Worker's Party, declared Galdania's 5000 nuclear warheads dismantled and destroyed. Galdania is now nuclear-free, and nuclear weapons have been banned under Bill 435607-F.
and
Karl Marleblanke

Nominated for the Nobel Prize for Science
Karl Marleblanke created the Marleblanke Cannon, which was used twice during the Al-Mahariti War of August-November 1973, killing 250,000 people in the city of Al-Masjriyahd and flattening the area for miles around. Marleblanke first discovered the 'Marleblanke Principle' in 1964, but left his native Switzerland when the government refused to fund his research. The other side of the Iron Curtain, however, which had just established the Revolutionary Sciences Division, put millions of dollars into Marleblanke Project.
