Earlier this week the peoples of the province of Gerosia declared themselves independent from the Generic Empire and pledged their allegiance to the religious groups currently waging war with the nation's government. The government of the generic empire responded swiftly claiming that the province was still under their control and any nation found aiding these radicals would be considered an enemy. Although only a small nation Generia has already suffered one deadly civil war, resulting in a massive genocide during which the emperor and his family perished. Currently an interim government is in the process of establishing a new constitutional monarchy, but this has been complicated by the recent holy war and the subsequent assasination of the newly appointed emperor before he could take office. This separatist state now poses a further threat to the troubled regions stability and the government, who are considered the voice of reason in the region, asks the world for help in defeating the religious fanatics and separatists who threaten to destroy their fragile infrastructure.
