Whereas, in the course of human events, it becomes necessary for a people to secure their freedom and independece, let it be known that the free peoples of Generica and the Ogdoadic States have endeavoured to form a more perfect Union, reflecting the philosophy of smaller government, more personal autonomy and less restrictions of personal choice.
Let it be known, then, that the founding nations of the newly discovered Priapian System have come together to form a coalition called the Free Star Commonwealth. This Commonwealth is based on the idea of soveriengty, interdependence, liberty and the wish to mutually prosper. The bonds of this organization is based on freindship and an egalitarian basis of mutual respect.
Each nation of the Commonwealth may govern in a democratic manner, eschewing tyranny and the use of force to repress their people. They have the freedom of assembly, worship and political opinion. We also gurantee the freedom of the press.
All nations of the Commonwealth must follow a democratic parlimentarian system of government. All member states start off as probationer and then,. after a year are voted onto as whether they should be given full member status. Tolitarian or tyrranical states will be barred from participation in the Free Star Commonwealth National Parliment, the forum for discussion, negotiation and cooperation of the Free Star Commonwealth All member states have M.F.
