I just came into this"game"......I see everybody else with friends,but I have none,the only friend I have is.............Oh nevermind, she doesnt know me :cry:

well, the best thing to do would be to invite a few people you think would enjoy the game, so that you can get started properly with them. If you don't have friends you think would enjoy this, then I would recommend even more strongly that you read the FAQs at the top. That way, when you make an entrance, people won't get terrible first impressions.
Um, apart from that? Bide your time for a while, or play with other young nations. Even if you can RP well, playing with the big league will get you killed. Usually, when you get to about 100 million you can start RP'ing properly. (although you're only 5million strong at the moment, it won't take long.) Anything else, feel free to TG me. If you act politely, and play well, friends will come to you.

Yes. Legitimately, too. How do you have an ICBM program, much less enough to sell? Wouldn't real life nations worry about that as well, when an unknown nation start profilerating nuclear weapon delivery systems?

Not all ICBMs are nuclear, Jack. They could easily have conventional warheads.

[OOC: I did things a bit differently from how most people advise, but I still have several countries that I can legitimately count on for support when needed.

Basically, what I did is observe the roleplays for a few days and then I decided to enter some of the safest ones (namely, storefronts). I also made several posts in the "establishing diplomatic relations" threads before I got involved with any military RPs. My first military roleplay was actually a military exercise.

After posting for a while and establishing myself as a roleplayer, I started to develop more friendships, etc.

Ultimately, it takes time to build friendships between NS countries, much like it takes time to build relationships between RL people and countries. But you can do it!]
