Special Report: OPERATION SWIFT HAMMER.

Tyrandis forces have just taken the capital city of Nicosia in Operation Swift Hammer against the regime of Greece and Cyprus. Spearheaded by the Tyrandis 101st Airborne, and greatly aided by allied forces on flanks and aerial support, the city was taken without resistance.
Much of the credit is given to the Allies's psyops warfare against the citizenry, undermining the G&C defenders.
No soldiers were killed in action, although one infantryman was injured from a stray shell from a G&C soldier. He is expected to make a full recovery.
Currently, the city's 194,000 civilians have been ordered to relocation camps set up by the military.
TNIA operatives have discovered evidence of death camps for Jews in Nicosia, in an eerie echo of Nazi Germany. Tyrandis armor units liberated the camps and are currently allowing the survivors to rest for several weeks before debriefing on their conditions.

As you can see, the horrors are immense. Humanitarian efforts are now underway, with the 821st Disaster Response Brigade being dispatched to the area.
The government of Cyprus has now surrendered to the Allied Forces, and a new provisional authority is being selected from each of the Allied nations.
