The Kingdom of Afchanistan announces that it must regretfully postpone the upcoming elections to establish a Parliament.
It is clear to his most sublime highness the King that a tiny, radical element of malcontents will attempt to disrupt the elections through violence directed at the vast majority of Afchans who love their leader and their country.
The King promises that, once he sees that his beloved citizens are no longer threatened by this thuggish element, elections will be held.
