News: Butcher Bay Correctional Facility
Reporter: Cole Chamberlain

Chamberlain: This is CNA reporter Cole Chamberlain, reporting from the new penetentiary built off the coast of Calios. "Butcher Bay Correctional Facilty" has been called inescapable, as the barren climate of the island means desert for miles, there are sharks for those who try to swim away, and there isn't an island to be seen on the horizon. It's home to some of the worse criminal convicts who don't get the death penalty, but it's still certain death to anyone who breaks the rules. With me now is the new warden of this facilty, Rolento Furyk. Mister Furyk, what can you tell me of this facility?

Furyk: Magnificent, isn't it? The prison has three prison areas. Maximum Security, Double Max, and Triple Max. In Single Max, prisoners are, for the most part, free. They can either stay in their cells, hang out and talk, or exercise in the courtyard. Mess up, and you're confined to your cell for a certain period of time, depending on what you did. Severely mess up, and I'll either just throw you into Double Max, or drag your carcass into the Pit. I can't tell you what the pit is. Double Max is the mining system. Cells are hung in chambers the mining chasms, meaning escape will mean a drop to your death. They open up side by side, creating a walkway to walk to the elevators, which take you to the Towers. Each tower is side by side, creating a large circle. Each area is different, for example, the area between Towers #8 and #9 will be the Recreation Area, and Towers #10 and #1 will be the feed ward. Security is much tighter in Double Max than Single Max. We have automated gun turrets that will kill you should you do something bad, say, carry contraband or fight with an inmate. We have a mining operation, as you have guessed. The island, for all it's downsides, is rich in diamond ore, which reaps in a generous profit to keep my slam in good condition, and keep my guards armed with the latest weapons. If you severely screw up, you'll be sent into Triple Max, where you're cryogenically frozen, and are only allowed two minutes of exercise a day, before you are tranquilized and put back in your container.

Chamberlain: Where do the guards sleep?

Furyk: We have a small city a mile west of here. It's inhabited mainly by guards, and those that run the shops.

Chamberlain: What do you do if there are prisoners that other countries want you to keep?

Furyk: Then they can call me and we can negotiate a price on how much the prisoner is worth.

Chamberlain: Thank you for your time, Mister Furyk.

Furyk: Likewise.

Chamberlain: As you can see, Butcher Bay is probably the most secure prison on the face of the univers. This is CNA Reporter Cole Chamberlain, signing out.

What are the conditions of this prison
and do you lease prisoners out?

Explain "conditions". It can mean so many things. As for leasing prisoners, no we don't.

OOC: Interesting, can't tell what's from the game and what's no as I don't have it. I wonder how it holds up to my underground Inferno Penitentiary, with cell blocks(not that there are cells...) set up like Dante's Inferno.

OOC: I'm guessing the one where Riddick breaks out of prison.

No such things as an inescapble prison. With enough outside help (eg. a full-scale military raid) you'd be lucky to recover any of the prisoners held inside.

The Nation of Circulum is willing to buy prisoners to be used in science, medical and warfare experiments along with slave labor. This could really lower your small offense inmate populace along producing some finances from your crime. If interested, please contact us.

The prison is over two miles in diameter, with over twenty square miles of space for the cells and inmates. This includes all three security prisons, so it's fairly big. It's enough to hold around a million inmates. As for the outside force attack, that's a possibilty, but unlikely. I won't shed any details on the defenses.
