“The Edölian government and the Doujinshi Corporation signed an agreement this morning that will drastically change the face of both the Edölian Scarlet Navy and the world’s largest naval producer. Under the treaty, Doujinshi has agreed to allow and supervise the construction of extensive dock-works around the Edölian mainland. These docks will be designed to produce Doujinshi Corporation ships and will be run by a new company -EdöTech- that will answer to both the Doujinshi Corporation and the Edölian Ministry of War. Producing in great part for the Scarlet Navy, EdöTech will also fulfill orders placed by members of the United Alliance of Progressive States. Excess capacity will be used to produce ships for Doujinshi. This treaty has been hailed by government insiders as a major stepping-stone towards building a long-lasting relationship with the “Pirate Empire.” With its recent re-entry into the UnAPS, Haven naval power is being significantly strengthened. Once these dock complexes –which include five space for the simultaneous construction of five Doujin-class super-battleships and eight Leviathan-class battleships- are complete (after a projected six years), the Edölian government will immediately begin the construction of five modified Doujins to act as flagships to the expanding Scarlet Navy. The Under-Minister of the Navy had this to say on the matter:
‘There are some nations that covet our territory and seek to topple our great nation. They have already invaded us three times. If they try again, they will find that Edölia and its allies rule the sea.’”
