Religious groups in Generia are unhappy with the presence of foreign peacekeepers in their country. The peacekeepers arrived to stabilize the nation after the genocide that befell it during the great civil war. the peacekeepers include soldiers from Buechoria, who was the primary nation inolved in ending the Generic civil war. The international force has aided Generia providing military security and financial stability. asn interim government is preparing to appoint a new imperator to lead the new constitutional monarchy. It is feared that if the religious groups take power that a religious republic will be formed, which will be threatening to world security. Also if the interim government collapses it is feared that the various sects of the nations religion, Genericism, will declare war on each other sparking another genocide.

A religious protest turned violent today in the capital of the empire when citizens of Generia began throwing rocks at peacekeepers outside of the ruined presidential palace. The soldiers turned their weapons on the protestors killing 3 and wounding 11.

URGENT REPORT:
Good evening this is GEI international reporting to you live from outside of the capitol building in Generia city, where the newly appointed imperator elect has just been shot. A man with a rifle shot him 3 times in the chest while the imperator was crossing the street. The man fled and was cornered in an alley but took his own life before he could be apprehended. It is unsure what faction this man was working for but it is strongly believed to be the GNJ (Genericism Now Jihad). Stay tuned for future updates.
