M. 14 "Werewolf" medium sized helicopter is the first helicopter that is designed fully in Haukka. M. 14 wasn't designed for replace current medium helicopter fleet in Empire of Haukka's helicopter fleet but to increase number of helicopters. Eventually this will replace Mi-17 over long period of time. It is meant for workhorse role alongside of EA-24 and Mi-17 helicopters. Total 380 are ordered for ground forces, 60 for Imperial Marines and 6 VIP Transports for parliament.
Four-blade main rotor is mounted above center of fuselage on a hump Two Ilsi 2112-shp ver.2 turboshafts are mounted on top of the fuselage. The fuselage is long, rectangular, upswept, with a tapered rear section, a rounded, stepped-up, glassed-in cockpit and retractable landing gear. Swept-back and tapered tail fin mounts a rotor on the right and a tapered, single flat on left top of the fin.
Rotors blades are made of composite materials throughout. comparison with blades incorporating metallic components, this makes for unsurpassed serviceability, low vulnerability, an unlimited useful life and imperviousness to marine corrosion. Other innovations include a simplified main rotor hub, a main gearbox of modular design and a high-energy-absorption landing-gear contributing to the machine's crashworthiness.
"Werewolf" is equipped with infrared and electromagnetic counter measures. Crashworthy seats for cargo and crew of helicopter.
M. 14 can carrie up to 24 soldiers and small vehicles such as jeeps and LTTs. On sling M. 14 can carrie light howitzers. Armament includes one fixed 50mm cannon and also extra rockets, machineguns, cannons and missiles can be mounted on wings.
