Well...
Dontgonearthers capitol building is Dontgonearthe Castle, a roughly two thosand five hundred year old (in some places) structure constructed in G'oaway.
The original Castle is of a European medieval style, with stone walls about fourtyfive feet thick, and sevent feet tall, it is constructed on top of a large hill, with cliffs on three sides rising near two hundred feet. The remaining side is a fairly steep slope with a shallow ramp (for wheelchair access, in case any disabled barbarians invaded) covered at various points by towers/checkpoints.
Later during DGNTs 'modern' (IE: 1900's tech) era the cliffs and area under the castle were fortified with bunkers, later these were removed in favor of really modern bunkers, though the original castle has been maintained quite well and is still roughly its original size/shape, the city has grown, been domed, a few bits burned down, at one point it flooded, and then the water caught on fire (Strange, but possible, considering the oil reserves kept under the city when petrol powered vehicles were still in use), and quite a few mimes have been hung on its walls.
As for the interior, it contains the usual castle-y stuff. Scorpoin pit, armoury, suites, throne room (Though the throne is gone, its been replaced with a rather more comfortable recliner by Somewhat-Lacking-In-Motivation Adolecent Male Chair Co..
The bunker contains the Imperial Guard, a number of rather more effecient, though less entertaining, tourture impliments, a collection of rare china dolls, and three solid gold toilets.
The grounds are non-descript, this being Dontgonearthere there is no garden, the flowers would combust rather quickly, though there is a trout-pond, its one hundred and fifty yards long and one inch wide, it is the home of one trout, which is qutie comfortable provided it doesnt try to turn around. This is the result of an effort to reduce surface area, and thus evaporation, on the part of the castles designer, who spent rather long time in the pleasant company of the Information Retrieval Technicians of the time, under the reign of DGNTs last Emperor, Lawrence the Kind, who was messily put to death by the current leader who was working under a contract for a (at the time) small company called GLACORP.

our Capitol Building is quite modern affair, being of Glass-Concrete-Metal construction. it has Several Angles, A Nearly 35 Foot Tall Parking Garage, a Huge Floor-to-Ceiling window that opens up for public occasions, and a small, bland, but Satisfactory rea of Grass and plants. it is situated on the Main Sqaure in P'yongyang.

IC: The Capitol Building is the Government Building of the Imperopendantpartoaristarcracy of Cax (Caxans are not renowned for their originality).
Nearly one kilometre East to West, it faces South into the 1 km by 500 m Grand Plaza. The building is shaped like a huge cross, the East and West wings being 400 metres long, and 100 metres wide. The North and South Wings are 200 metres by 100 metres, with a central 100 metre by 100 metre tower rising 30 storeys above rest of the 20-storey building. Towards the rear (North) of the building are many smaller wings, 25 metres by 100 metres each. The front of the South Wing is dominated by the large, elaborate door and steps, as are the ends of the other wings.
The architect, Ms. Halina Bakalars, followed Emperor Maxmillian Askiew's instructions accurately when he said : 'I want it big, really big. Built like a cathedral crossed with a fortress. Made of this nice stone here. With loads of flying buttresses. And make it Gothic. Stained-glass windows. Crenallations and towers. Pointy bits. Fancy stonework. Gargoyles. But with thick, artillery-proof walls. Easily defendable.'
Maxmillian saw it completed 20 years after giving this order, during his last year as Emperor.
The interior is equally sumptuous. Fine portraits of Emperors and Empresses past hang on every wall, and busts in every alcove, though security screens can instantly be brought down to protect them. A myriad of secret passages and hidden doors and traps fill every corridor, many are dead ends. Only the rulers past and present know of them all. Rumours hint at underground submarine ports, zeppelins which can be launched from minor wings, secret laboratories filled with unspeakable creatures and machines, and who knows what the Emperor may release should there be a threat. What is certain is that the Government Building is bigger than it appears, stretching a fair way deep underground. There are also Zig* ports and holding pens for Gabberbocchi.**
More publicly, the building contains the main meeting room for the officials of Cax, and the main tower holds the Emperor's private quarters and chambers. Tours are run twice decidaily*** from 2.50 O'clock until 7.50 O'clock, though you will be searched and security is tight.
The various Officio lie to the rear (North) of the building's 1 kilometre square grounds, which are bordered by several layers of walls, fences and security patrols.

ARGH!!! Damn server!!! Anyway: Cax does not run on a 24-hour system. Instead, every day is divided up into 10 'Decidays'. Each deciday is divided up into 100 millidays. Therefore a deciday is 2.4 hours and a milliday is slightly less than a minute. Midnight is 0:00, and midday 5:00.

Gaia Rodina's capital is reminiscent of the Kremlin in the former Soviet Union. Located in the capital city, New Moscow, it is a grandiose structure of early Russian Rennaisance design. While seemingly flimsy in design, it is actually quite sturdy. It has survived numerous minor terrorist attacks, and has a built-in bomb shelter that was installed after the Feazanthia incident.

In Sarzonia's capital Woodstock, the capitol building is called Parliament Hall and its design is reminiscent of the State Capitol building in Annapolis, Maryland. The link is http://www.seakayak.ws/photocat.nsf/webphotos/1A351093A302A16E85256D28004AB95B.

I find it funny that so many people think that that building is the Kremiln. The Kremlin is a great stone fortress. The picture shown above is actually St. Basil's Cathedral, located in Moscow. In the game Rise of Nations, they mislabeled the building as well.
African Commonwealth

The presidential palace, Kinshasa
The presidential palace in Kinshasa was built after the first president of the African Commonwealth(his supreme benevolence Nwabudike James, long live his memory) ascent to power. In an almost arab style of architecture, two tall drab brown towers at each end of the massive building reach nearly 150 feet towards the heavens, a testament of James' rather inflated sense of self. 6 broad ionic pillars frame the marble porch, and the doors below a large rectangular plaque bearing the AC motto(''One People under One Sun, with One Voice'') written in Xhosa, English and Banthu.
The presidential residence is a compound consisting of the palace, a guard barracks and a smaller residential area for the current President, General Ndelebe's family; and another for high-ranking members of the ruling party. This compound is surrounded by some of the most pristine and beautiful vegetation in Kinshasa, and a small garden of the rare Crystal Rose, a wondrous medicinal plant first discovered by Roycelandian colonists.
Security is very tight around the compound at present, in anticipation of terror acts to follow in the wake of the first free elections ever to be held in the Commonwealth, due in mere weeks. The presidents honour guard, 500 members of the Manus Nigra(a rather shadowy entity, known only as AC's "secret police") are present, as are a temporary reinforcement of 1500 members of the Irem special forces, and 600 paramilitary and police officers.

The Council Hall of Winterbane is a modernistic building in glass and steel, shaped like a tetrahedron, and lies in the snowy hills north of the capital city.
The general assembly of the Federation is held within the tetrahedron, in a large hall decorated in blue and silver. The delegates sit along two walls, while the President and his ministers sit along the last. The marble floor in the middle is decorated with a motive of snow crystals.
Offices and smaller meeting rooms lie in sub-terrarean levels, which are illuminated by lightwells. At the bottom of the wells lie parks where the politicians and bureaucrats can have breaks.

Crookfur
07-06-2004, 21:56
Well with Crookfur it gets complciated (as always).
There are technically speaking 4 "capitol" biuldings
First is Mearns Castle:
Biult on the highest of the 5 hills around the capitol Kirkhill this aceint and massive fortress was biuld by descendents of the templar influx along the lines of the massive crusader castles of the holyland such as Crack De Chevalier (http://www.syriatourism.org/images/crack12cm.jpg). This power biulding serves as the HQ for the various militant orders based in Crookfur and also hosts a set of siutes for use by govenrment officials
Secondly is the Palace of the Covenant:
This is the official residence of the monarch of Crookfur. Located right in the heart of Kirkhill it sits across the river cart from the old parliment biulding it serves both as an official biulding and as one of the antion's formost museums. It also acts as a base for the royal guard regiments and a principle location for military displays on it's massive parade grounds.
Thirdly we have the Old parliment biulding.
Biult in the 18th cnetury it served well as home to both houses of parliment until Crookfur's population grew too big for it to be governed by the existing system. After the national parliment moved to the New biulding the old parilemnt was retained for use both by the civil service and the local regional govenrment. Its traditional and oopulent reception facilities are still used for diplomatic and public functions where the use of the palace would be insensitive (ie for republicans and extreme pacifists as the palace is a bit martial in appearance).
the old Parliment looks remarkably like the houses at westminister (http://www.victorianweb.org/art/architecture/feist/14.jpg)
Finally is the new parliment Biulding.
Actually less of a biulding and more a work of landscape art...
The most northerly of the 5 hills around Kirkhill was mined extensively throughout the history of the naion and eventually was taken over as a military installation where the workings were expanded and strengthened.
When a need for a new parilment biulding was indentified it was decided that rahter than rip appart one of Kirkhill's splendid green spaces for a massive new biulding the entire hill should be renovated into a single massive govenrment complex. The debating chambers of each house sit side by side about halfway up facing south across the city, eahc has an entire wall made of glass featuring specailly designed polarising sections within the massive windows that work to reduce glare so the chambers can be used in even the most dazzeling of sunlight.
The rest of the hill is used for massive offices for MPs and govenrment departments, garages, bunkers and a heliport (it even features it's own internal transport system ala Black Mesa). Large sections of the biudling are open to the public and can be accessed both by road and an extremely efficent undergorund rail system.

Witzgall
07-06-2004, 23:23
The Sadistic Dictatorship of Witzgall has 2 Capital Buildings: The Council of Generals Holding Area, and The Dictators Command Center.
The Council Of Generals HA
The CoG building is where all of Witzgall's generals and high-classed military specialists come to discuss issues in the nation. They debate political stances, military solutions, etc., etc. The CoG building is heavily guarded by 20 'all-day' guards, 60 'night guards', and 60 'day guards'. In addition to the guards, there are up to 200 Special Forces & 150 Special Police officers patrolling the building and its perimeter at all times.
The CoG building is also guarded by thick concrete, titanium, and steel walls. The building is NBC protected, and has top-notch security. Invisible laser trip wires, heat monitors, nightvision/thermal visioned sentinel guns, floor tile stunners, and other classified security devices.
Below the CoG building is a bomb shelter where intelligence on other nations is gathered. This area is guarded by Military Personell 24/7, who are always armed with Automatic Machine Guns and heavy pistols and other equipment. They are ordered to arrest anyone who knocks on the heavily-reinforced steel door if the person does not have the correct papers and/or fails the handprint scan. retinal scan, voice recognizer, and their individual 8 digit passcode.
DCC
The Dictator's Command Center is near the CoG building, about 14 blocks away from it. There are many "mock up" versions of the DCC scattered around the area to throw off terrorists.
Frederick Afilia, the Dictator of Witzgall, is here most of the time. He is guarded by his own Special Police unit, which switch shifts every 3 hours. Along with the unit, a specially assigned Military General is with the Dictator almost 24/7. This man's job is to carry the codes to Witzgall's nuclear stronghold.
The building itself can withstand a direct hit from a large missile, and no one is let inside without intense identification checks. All windows are tinted as to make it so not a soul outside knows where Afilia's office is exactly.
The DCC also has about the same automated security measures as the CoG.
Security Breaches
There has only been 3 past security breaches: 2 in the CoG building, and 1 in The DCC.
The one in the DCC building was an assasination attempt by a rogue, unknown operative for an unknown nation. The Dictator was not there during the attack, thankfully, and the man was caught by military personell in 2 minutes thanks to security cameras and heat monitors.
The two in the CoG building were by two unarmed civilians who had mistaken the building for a museum. They walked in, one reached for a camera, and was shot in the arm. They were both arrested, but later released.

The Republic capital is the City of Tripolis, also known as Jerutripolis. The Emperor's residence and the Senate are located in the Central Sphere off of which the rest of the city was built. Over the years, decomissioned cityships, cargo barges, solar collectors, powerplants, and various spare parts and subcomponents such as individual habitat modules and cylinder links have accreted around it into a multi-kilometer mass of metal, plastic, and carbon composites which is the largest single structure in the Guilds to date, housing the largest conglomeration of people in one place to date.
Security is rather lax; not much is needed as the Guilds are on good or neutral terms with nearly everybody, and even if that were not the case the City is protected by its shear remoteness, essentially in the middle of nowhere on an orbit that takes it nearly to the Belt at aphelion and about halfway between Earth and Mars at perihelion.
Letila has no capital, for obvious reasons.

The Governmental Buildings are located within the heart of T'sing T'sin Fort, a sprawling 10 acre fort, that from the sky, resembles the shape of a pentagon with smaller pentagons enclosed within. The reason of why the Government is located within this fortress stems during the Military Government Era [aka "the Revolution"], where the PLA saw fit to protect their interests from possible terrorist attacks. This fear is still kept to this day with 3 division's worth of men providing permanent security for the lawmakers inside.
However, the main highlights of the Government Buildings are; General's House (Prime Minister's Home/Office, First Corner (Parliment) and Gallow's Hall (Headquarters for the PLA).
1) General's House is mainly built in the style of a Chinese country villa, with the exception being of it's front, which gives off the pretense of a simple adobe building. The House itself was constructed during the Warring States Era, and housed the T'sing T'sun Shogos [PM's]. The front part of the house is reserved for the Prime Minister, his/her staff, and the staff of the House. The back is reserved for Cabinet Meetings, formal dinners, and guests quarters.
2) First Quarter is constructed in the style of a Viking Hall, although in the shape of a circle. The walls are made out of piled rock with a turf roof to avert fires. First Quarter is regarded as one of the oldest structures within the T'sing T'sin Fort, and has been dated at the tail end of the Founding. Inside the building is divided into three sections; two main halls and a hallway for communication between the House of Commons and the House of Lords. It should be noted that the House of Lords is constructed as the Roman Senate would be, and the House of Commons constructed along circular frame [improved in the Warring States Era].
3) Gallow's Hall is simply two Viking Halls connected by a smaller hall. This is the heart of all army activity within the PRKS and, on occassion, houses the Military Council (when meeting). Much of what is opened to the public are historic quarters of previous leaders of the PLA and small museums documenting the history of the T'sing T'sin wars. The rest are closed off for national security.

-The RNC Legisstrom-
The Republic of National Commonwelath prides itself on its capitol complex. Located near the bustling New Verum Harbor, the state-of-the-art facility is home to the many beaurocratic government organizations of the republic. Surrounded by the lush Federal Botanical Garderns and the new transit-spectra system, the complex offers a stylish atmosphere for government. The height of the central tower is 878 feet.
http://www.lowtechweb.com/capitol.jpg
The "Legisstrom," the ruiling body of National Commonwealth meets regularly in the modern assembly chamber. The Legisstrom is broken down into the the Regnum-Plebis Firm of 500 members and the more prestigious Senate of 150. All decisions are then brought before the Joint Federal Republic House of 20 representatives from all leadership divisions of the government and the ten provinces.
They meet in this chamber:

The Republic Department of Armament is unique in National Commonwealth. It has its own capitol, per se, in Paxum, Vetricia. It is the only government organization located outside of New Verum specifically for political and security reasons. This building is highly protected and the entire edifice deflects incoming radio signals and wavelenghts that are not sent by wire.

Sephrioth
08-06-2004, 07:46
sephrioth's capital building is a impearial place
Ximea's capitol building (knicknamed Heorot) is a four-story, concrete step pyramid approximately an acre in size at the base. The outer walls are eighteen inches thick and heavily reinforced with tungsten-steel rebar. The buliding has four entrances, one in the middle of each face (the building itself is arranged so that each face corresponds perfectly to the compass points). These entrances are heavily guarded; a short hall leads to a T-intersection with a machine-gunner's station built directly into the opposite wall. The building has small square windows at regular intervals on every floor. These windows can be sealed with three layers of three-inch plate steel at the push of a button.
The top floor features a second eighteen-inch concrete barrier and contain's the Lord Commander's private meeting room, one of his private armories, a media room and a unisex bathroom. The meeting room is roughly thirty by twenty feet and the north wall features cabinets containing numerous forms of snack foods, a microwave, a dumbwaiter, and a minifridge filled with sodas (the Lord Commander rarely consumes alcohol and encourages others to avoid it as well). The north, east and west walls are lined with plain-looking but extremely comfortable couches, roughly half of which have sturdy oak tables in front of them. The Lord Commander's personal armchair is positioned precisely opposite the door, which itself is positioned in the center of the northern thirty-foot wall. A large oak table takes up much of the central space of the room, and serves equally well for displaying maps and holding pizzas. The room has a southern exposure.
The media room contains extensive computer resources, as well as numerous media-reading devices. Information can be displayed on a 150-inch, 2.35:1 plasma screen or numerous smaller computer monitors throughout the room.
The Lord Commander's top-floor armory contains mostly pistols and submachine guns, as well as a few assault rifles and shotguns. All are cutting-edge. The room also contains an unholy quantity of ammunition, some of which was specially designed at the Lord Commander's own request.
The other floors of the structure mostly contain administrative offices. Every Minister in the Ximean Executive Body has his or her office in this building.
A very large conference room (sometimes called the War Room, though it is not strictly used for war) sits in the center of the second floor. It has seating arrangements and network interface terminals for a hundred people. It also has a large plasma screen identical to the one in the media room.
The Lord Commander's private quarters are located on the first sub-level and are defended with three eighteen-inch layers of reinforced concrete. The second sub-level contains most of the equipment needed to keep the facility running, such as boilers, furnaces, air-conditioning units, air purifiers, water purifiers and pumps, et cetera, ad nauseam. The facility also has third and fourth sub-levels at the very least, but their contents are massively classified.
Callisdrun
10-06-2004, 04:54
Callisdrun's government capitol building is the Callisfjord Castle complex. It's called a complex because it has a hodgepodge of additions from different periods. at its core is King's Keep, the foundation of which is several thousand years old. Around King's keep is the pentagram shaped main castle, built in 814 by King Haakon the Great, also called "The Black Castle of Callisdrin." Over the years it has been added onto so much that it now covers all of the island at the end of Callisfjord.
In King's Keep are the throne room and royal residences, among other things. In the black castle, the Alting (parliament) meets. There are literally hundreds of secret passageways in Callisdfjord castle, and it extends underground father than it extends in the air, although many of these levels are restricted.
The immense castle is large enough to be called a town, and has been laid siege to 14 times, although it has been taken only once. On the inside, it is relatively simple in its decor, with many tapestries, but a lack of fine ornamentation and very little gold, reminding those inside that it was built as a fortress rather than a palace. It's rather easy to get lost in, but there are maps about of the areas open to the public. It is actually one of the biggest tourist attractions in Callisdrun.
The other enormous castle that's open to the public lies in the city of Drun, and is the site of the University of Callisdrun, and is also Callisdrun's chief research center, and the home of Callisdrun's enormous national Archives. Unlike Callisfjord castle, which is black, Drun castle is dark gray, and not in the shape of a pentagram. It is built on a mountain, and like Callisfjord Castle, goes deep underground. With its high towers and walls, it is quite imposing. It is older than Callisfjord's black castle.
Agaden Mountain Castle, is on/in Callisdrun's largest mountain, and overlooks the northern part of the Plains of Sorrow. The most terrifying of Callisdrun's castles to look upon, it is also the most mysterious, as it is off-limits to the public, for the protection of military secrets. It extends deep into the mountain, so that the castle on the outside, while huge, is only the 'tip of the iceberg.' There are many rumors about what's inside, besides the military installation on the surface. It is usually referred to simply as "Agaden," and was built during the reign of Queen Bente II (the Great) at the beginning of the Ten Years War (1253-1263). It is the official headquarters of the Callisdrunian Military.

ITD's capitol building encompasses the entire capitol city, and contains 160000 housing units, 500 learning centers, a fully funtional nuclear power plant and a solar panel covered dome structure.
The Emperor resides in a 3 acre mansion with over 150 rooms.
ITD's seat of power resides in the center of the city, on the 60th story of the Xerikton Building, named after the Great Xerik, who led the ITD forces into the creation of the nation. Xerik's tomb resides at an undisclosed location. The current Emperor, who descends directly from Xerik, is Emperor Lazarus. Emperor Lazarus is the first Emperor of the nation, as it had always been a dictatorship prior to his reign. His lineage was furthered with the birth of Lazarus' son.
The former National Council's building is currently under renovation, but will be complete in 2 years. It would then be used as a command structure for the ITD military.

My capitol IS the kremlin although it is now outfitted with the most modern of security systms it looks much as it has for years
The Holy Empire of Pallia conducts all government business from the Great Temple of Athena. A massive affair of marble and gold, statues of Athena and her bretheren and her favored creature (the owl) are to be found everywhere one may look. The forward half of the temple contains a great auditorium where the Senate of Pallia meets to discuss matters of concern. The rear half of the temple contains the Oracle's Palace. The Palace is home to the Great High Oracle of Athena as well as his or her staff and the other priests of the temple. The forward half is open to the public; the rear is closed as Holy Ground. Where the two sections meet there is a circular chamber. On one side sits the Great High Oracle, on the other sits the President of the Senate. In the center there is a grand table of marble around which the Oracle and the President meet with thier advisors in order to implement the decisions of the Senate as well as discussing current debate. In this chamber, any citizen on appointment can bring matters to the attention of the Oracle and the President. Conventional security is lax, almost to the point of nonexistence. There is an aura, however, of divine power that turns most who come with ill intentions. Those who push through and manage to attempt their acts all seem to fail and fall victim to mysterious accidents. Never once has the safety of any member of the Pallian government been seriously jeapordized.
Palace complexes at the foot of the hill on which the temple is located house the members of the Senate and host foreign dignitaries and government functions.
Circulum

The Capital building of Circulum is a structure built on a 30 feet deep artifical lake that extends over 300 yards in diameter. Such architecture make citizens wonder where they hard earned taxed money REALLY goes to.

McLeod03
10-06-2004, 09:02
The Royal Palace in McLeod03 was the largest structure in the country following its completion some two hundred years ago. The architect was also the man responsible for the building of McLeodia's largest cathedral, St Pauls, and three of the bridges across the River Tye, which runs through the capital.
The grounds make up the largest use of land in the capital, covering some eight hectares of riverside land, and containing three large artificial lakes with wildlife, a private zoo, a small forest, and the obligatory helipad and dock for a launch to take the family to the Royal Yacht.
The Palace itself consists of one large building structured around a central courtyard. Each of the four wings of the Palace is roughly a mile in length, and constructed almost entirely of marble cut from mountains some three hundred miles away. The front is not dissimilar to that of the White House, with vast columns supporting a high vaulted ceiling over the main entrance, reserved for the Royal Family and visiting foreign governments.
Each window has been painstakingly replaced with bulletproof glass, and it is estimated (OOC: A fact...) that some 2,500 RPU agents patrol the grounds outside the Palace, whilst some 800 - 1,000 members of the Royal Guard patrol the corridors and guard the main entrance.

Skeelzania
11-06-2004, 01:03
The Skeelzanian capital building, the Royal Palace, is a massive structure taking up nine square miles right in the heart of the capital, Skeelzot City. Truly a modern-day castle, the outer layers resemble a fortress more than a palace. A garrison of 10,000 troops from the elite FS Baad Skeelzot Division mans the building's numerous fortifications. These range from simple guard towers to massive naval railguns, which are strategically placed at the building's four corners. The building also contains a heliport and mobile suit hangers, as well as a tank park.
Inside the fortress, the massive Keep serves as the central hub of Skeelzania's goverment and the Grand Prince's personal living quarters. Rising 500m above the city streets, the Keep dominates the skyline. The Prince himself maintains a large penthouse on the upper levels of the Keep. This includes a swimming pool (one of the few on the planet), a large dining hall for formal dinners, personal gym, several bedrooms, armory, and more "relaxation" rooms of varying degrees. There are also rumors of a multi-stage escape rocket being housed in the Keep's core, to serve as a last-ditch method of escape should Solomon be threatened by enemy take-over.
Aside from this symbol of Skeelzanian Might, plans are in the works for a smaller building inside of Vernii's "Galaxy City" space resort. This is largely based off of the Old Earth castle of Krak de Chevaliers, though there will be modifications of course.

The final building will look something like that, although it will be on ground level inside of the colony. Accomodations will most likely be similar to those found within the Keep.

Here, the government buildinggs can be seen. We based the design on ancient Roman architecture, but with a modern twist. Most of the buildings seen here conceal atomated and manned defence systems.
Ours is called Fresate of Libertya or The Liberty Buliding.

That looks somewhat similar to the architecture for our Capitol, actually. Except the layout of ours is different and ours is black. Very nice.

Bonstock
19-06-2004, 00:00
Bonstock's Parliament rents a small auditorium in the Bank of Bonstock building, in Bonstock's capital of Port Yuko, and the President has a penthouse on the top floor of this magnificent corporate highrise. The Government's paymasters at the Bank like the government close.
There is a bunker below the Bank which houses Bonstock's military leadership, and is sometimes considered the de facto government center as all but one of Bonstock's leaders were on active duty when they were elected (or took power in another way, as is most often the case).
Many people use the location of the government to justify a conspiracy between the Bank of Bonstock and the government, mainly the military.
