The USN will be holding a Special Forces wargame on one of its islands.
You are allowed to bring 30 people to this wargame. Before we start you
need to post what forces you are sending. You should bring your own weapon, muntions and supples. Their will be weapon and supply caches on
the island but you will have to find them on your own.

No outside help, once your forces are inserted you cant call for help
from the outside(an example is lazing a target for a airstrike.)

No God-Modding

This is a Modern Tech RP, make your equipment within what is used by todays Special Forces(that means, no laser weapons, personal shields, or plasma grenades or anything like that)

The United States of Nighthawk will be deploying the following forces
10 Delta Force operators
10 Army Rangers
5 USN Air Force PJ/CCT (Pararescue Jumper/Combat Controller Team)
5 Falcon Special Forces troops

I am very intrested in this, but I have 3 questions. First is the war game going to be taking place later tonight, or will it be like over a couple days, or somethin like that? Second, is this gonna be like actually killing and what not or is this going to be like lasers mounted on the tips of guns and each soldier wears like a laser vest thingy to register the hits? I just wanna know cause large numbers of melee weapons would be basically useless for anything besides survival purposes.

First it will take place tonight about 11:00 PM Eastern Standard Time

Our troops will be using the MILES system. There is a laser mounted on each weapon, and there are detectors on the BDUs of each soldier.

Each weapon will fire a blank along with a laser beam, that way no one is harmed, and the troops get the feel of real life combat.

Its an island. Mainly coast, but there are some cliffs that go straight down into the sea

As soon as Wraith Unit is through at the Aust school (which will be tonight, hopefully before the game begins) and re-equiped(instant) we will join. 6 or seven new wraiths will have to be recruited due to losses at the school. But we will send 30 Wraiths equiped with Tactical Assault Rifles bought from Olympus II and combat knives and other survival gear.

Isl. of Rose has the same rifle as us. It's freakin' awesome!! We too will where jungle Cammoflauge. We also have silenced pistols and thermal/night vision goggles. Are there any buildings or anything in this jungle? We will win... either way.

The obj. of this RP is to be the last team standing. I might make later RPs where there will be a defined obj. but for now just try to survive.

The only buildings on this island is what you can build with sandbags, entrenching tools, and whatever you can find on the island itself

Since i am deploying different SpecFor teams from my Armed Forces, they all have different equipment

Better to make one special forces force. Saves money @.@ sure you have to train them in all forms of war. But it pays... somehow.

I'm going to try my best not to godmod. I'll treat this like a furcadia RP fight. Don't know how I'll manage too though lol.

I have decided to deploy 15 Delta Force and 15 Falcons to the island

OOC: Whoa that little special forces? I use a lot more special forces. My military spending is a little low I bet. So I go for secret operations and instead of grand invasions.

30 mins till the wargame will begin.

(IC) At a classified location the members of the force that would be deploying to the island were getting ready. They will performing final checks on their gear and starting to load up onto the C-5A that would take them to the jump point. They would HALO jump into the water about 2 miles out from the island and use IBSs(Inflatible Boat-Small) too insert into the island

SpecOps cant be too big. The larger they are the harder they are. notice my SFOD-Delta is only 55 people. They are fast as lightning and can strike very fast. You may have a larger SpecOps but i bet mine are a tad bit more trained then yours, considering they have been around longer.

OOC: I thought we were starting on tuesday -.- agh I feel out of the loop.

Do you think we should postpone it for a half hour or so, seeing how it's only you and me? I will TG a couple people who may be on right now, but it seems that only me and you are in it now. Give it a while... people will show. I got permission to stay up, so me playing isn't a problem. Thank you.

I am interested in putting a platoon into this wargame, but have a number of queries first.

1) Can you give more information on the terrain we will be fighting in? Specifically, density of terrain, topography, etc.

2) While we accept the "no external support" proviso, are the troops on the ground expected to act solely as infantry, or are B-vehicles permitted? A-vehicles, obviously not, but VSF units regularly operate at great distance from support, and are thus usually utilise light vehicles extensively for transport and reconnaissance purposes.

3) Varessa prides itself on giving its sailors, soldiers and airmen the very latest in cutting edge military equipment. Further, VMRDC (Varessan Military Research and Development Commission) is a world leader in weapons technology research. Our special forces are equipped to a phenomenally advanced standard, while our nation is modern in most senses of the phrase, our military technology is superb.
With that in mind, we request that we be permitted, if we participate, to use VMRDC systems, as per our standard equipment load, so as to better simulate our combat conditions. Which will, of course, provide a greater challenge to our competitors, and thus a better training environment.

(IC) The green light went on in the hold of the C-5A
The 15 Delta Force and 15 Falcons went out the back doors of the aircraft and started their HALO jump

As they all hit the water, they linked up with their squads, hopped into their IBSs, and started speeding for the beachhead.(5 to a boat)

They moved into the jungle. About 100 meters in they started digging foxes, they also established a CP. As soon as the CP was built and they foxholes dug, they would started running patrols.

Staff Sgt Gary Ruit was a sniper. Him and his spotter moved to the top of a small hill near the center of the island. There they set up a sniper hide, and started to watch the island for enemy movement

The Wraith leader, codenamed Ghost, led the group in the jump. They hit the water and began inflating the boat. They have wood, nails, weapons, entrenching tools, etc. in waterproof sacks. 4, in wetsuits, stay out of the boat and swim, harpoon guns at the ready. What time of day is it, for RPing purposes?

Ghost and Warlock crept through the dense jungle, trying to find a suitable place for a base. Finally they found a deep ravine, which was about 200 ft. long and 30 ft. wide. There they instructed the 10 members of the contruction team to begin using the wood and nails to build a small fort. There they set up communications. They set 4 small cameras in the foilage, 1 to the north, 1 to the south, one to the east, 1 to the west. The kept the screen in the fort(These are all battery powered and broadcast the activity to the monitor). A team of 4 began digging a tunnel system underground through the north side of the ravine. 6 Wraiths unpacked the sacks and distributed the weapons and ammo. Then they took the wood that was left and trudged to the end of the ravine, to the East. They climb up and walk for another 200 ft. There they set up a false fort.
