We, the people of Lenarch, declare independence from our former oppressors, Haruna. We have allowed this oppression for too long. We have tried to alleviate our oppression diplomatically and all attempts at said have failed. And so we are forced to resort to armed rebellion. We will live free or die.

Lenarch is seeking the support of the international community. We seek military as well as economic support. Weapons and training are among our top priorities, as well as foreign combat troops.

Any support for us in our struggle for freedom will be appreciated.

The Severskian 1st Army group has be mobilized to enter Lenarch and support their bid of independence. The 2nd Army Group has taken up position on their left flank, with the recently created 3rd, 4th, and 5th Army Groups positioning themselves on their left, along the Seversky-Haruna border. Fleet command has recalled all of its carrier battle groups except CNS Cadence to Arms and CNS Outcast CVNCBGs, which are supported by the escort carriers CNS St. Lô, CNS Gambier Bay, CNS Liscome Bay, CNS Ommaney Bay, CNS Bismark Sea, and CNS Thetis Bay. These carriers and their escorts are proceeding to Haruna’s colony of Résuitat. There they will prepare to invade if need be.

We regret we cannot possibly take on the might of your Imperial oppresser, however we will raise your plight in the Region of Equilism, althought we are new in the nation it's military is strong and the promise of joining the region (which is based on the sovrienty of individual states and a fully democratic leadership) would no doubt greatly increase the likly hood of assistance as the full allied Equilism army is mobilized already.

There is a simpler way to do get suplies to them. Since Severskian ground troops will be entering Lenarch, you could just ship them to us and we would deliver them for you.

The Technocratic Union of Greater Valia would like to show its support to Haruna government, and would also like to say that any attempts by foriegn powers to occupy Lenarch and support this rebel cause will be met with trade sanctions, and possibly military action.

14-12 to recognize the independence of Lenarch. The Senate's actions have been confirmed by Mattopolian President Alice Vernann. Using her executive power, President Vernann has mobilized a fleet of Typhoon class submarines to assure safe passage of an ampibeous landing forces consisting of 257 outdated T-72 tanks.

The Tiger MBTs of the 1st Armored Division/1st Army have begun to enter Lenarch through its southern border. The remander of the 1st Army will follow. The 2nd Army should begin to enter to their west within the hour.

Fourth Shock has begun to offload near to the Seversky forces. More units are being called up as it becomes clear that Haruna is readying for large-scale war. SSBNs are being put to sea with escorting submarines and the entire nation is currently working on Readiness Level Two, apart from the Eighth and Thirteenth Armies. Army Groups B and C have begun to plunge into Lenarch, while Army Groups A, D-H have begun to pour across the border with Seversky. Each Army Group consists of 17 Infantry Divisions of about 15,000 men each, and 6 Armored Divisions of about 1,000 M-1s each. These forces are covered by the entire Harunan airforce, a grand total of over 10,000 MiG-23s, 27s, 29s as well as Su-27, 35s and 37s. Our troops will not stop untill they achieve victory.

They were the elite. The best of the best, with the best kit that could be had. And they were all scared bloody sh!tless. Twenty-four Tu-160M bombers had left Engels Airbase in DPUO an hour before; now, as they approached the limit of Harunan radar range, their tanks topped off ten minutes before, they were rushing in at Mach 2 at barely 500 feet, an insanely dangerous manouevre, but likely to get them through the radars. Within each aircraft sat two AS-15 ASMs mounted on rotary launchers, each programmed with the co-ordinates of a target. Of the 48 missiles, ten were targetted at railheads, ten at fuel dumps, ten at ammunition dumps and a further ten at airfields. The remaining eight had been rigged with powerful active jamming systems. These were launched first, drawing the majority of the fire from the ground forces. The Blackjacks turned to run for home.

Behind them, Su-24Us raced in after the Tu-160s, again low, dropping AS-16 ARMs at the now alert and active radar stations. In addition, 720 fighter aircraft, MiG-29Ms and Su-37s, backed up by 240 MiG-31M high-level interceptors, swarmed in to engage the Harunan aircraft.

1st-5th Submarine Fleets moved into Haruna's waters, hopefully undectected, but no less ready to fight. Anywar ship encountered was attacked.

Halladi landing crafts began to land on Lenarch beaches under the watchful eyes of the 5th and 6th fleets. The 12th army [500,000 men; 50 Halladi divisions] began to set up a command area at the beach they had landed at.

The 8th fleet and 6th have crossed into "Lenarch" waters. They are carrying 300,000 of the estimated 800,000 Troops to be used in this battle. They are quickly landing close to hallad forces. Hopefully "Allied" Forces can work together to protect Lenarch from Re-Annexation. The troops that landed as of now are the entire Slayer force and A.R.C. trooper force. They are moving to intercept enemy infantry. The commisioned Air Force that is moving to intercept Haruna's Air Force are counter-attacking Haruna's force.

The Severkian Army was hit hard all along the front. Large casulties were sustained in trying to check the assult. The 1st Army group in Lenarch, on the far east of the front managed to hold its ground. That happens to be the only good news so far. The 2nd Army has been pushed back 50 miles and has lost some 1500 men. 3rd Army has been pushed back 75 sustaining 1750 casulties, and 4th Army has gone back 100 with 2000 lost. The 5th Army lost 50 miles and 1900 men. Our supperior armor had much to do with holding the line. While we were pushed back, the Harunaan offencive has been halted. The 3rd Marine Division has been ordered to fill a gap that has formed between the left of the 1st Army and the right of the 2nd Army, and should be in position within the day.

If you wish we'll move Fourth Shock from it's current deployment and place it in the position of your second Army, then bring the 8th Army (just arrived) into position to support the third. The OMG we brought with us in case of a major offensive by our side is currently in reserve; it'll probably be used much like the horse artillery once was, rushing where necessary to plug the gaps. We're also sortieing MiG-29Ms and MiG-31Ms off nearby islands, plus Su-33s from a CVGB centred on the Ulyanov, a Kuznetsov-class CVN, and the Smolensk, an Orel-class CVN. Supplying the units is going to be interesting, but freighters are heading over escorted by surface groups and submarines. Our main trouble's going to be lack of space, as far as I can see.

Army Groups I and J of the Harunan Army have begun an offencive against the gap in the Severskian right flank. This drive is being covered by an offencive by Army Groups A, D and H in the west. Also, the first heavy air raids have begun, consisting of small numbers of "Bear" bombers striking with conventional bombs from high altitude. These bombers have been sent out at night at large cities. Maratime pratrol "Bear"s have begun to deploy with armed anti-fleet missiles; large, fast, long ranged, nuclear anti-ship missiles.

The Dracun Air Force has intercepted enemy Fighters. So far 40 Dracun fighter have been destroyed.
The monsoon bomber have arrived and are bombing enemy held positions with regular weapons to reinforce allied troops.

Our army as we speak are currently fighting enemy troops. Although like the army of Seversky was pushed back a Dozen or so miles and lost close to 150 A.R.C. troopers and 1,900Slayers. The infantry have begun to refresh troops and relieve them. All infantry have landed from the 1st trip.
5 Packs(10,000 men per pack) are ready to help reinforce Seversky Lines. The rest of our troops are being converted to our front and holding the beach incase we are pushed back

In absence of any orders from Seversky Fourth Shock Army and Sixth Army are reinforceing battered Severskian units in the West.

The nation of Ferratus supports this revolution and will send aid to Lenarch if requested. We have the 1st and 2nd Infantry, II Corps, on standby and can deploy them almost immediately. Our 7th and 9th armored divisions, II corps can be pulled from training early to be deployed to Lenarch if additional armored support is neccesary.

Ferratus can also send 1 brigade of the 94th Airborne division, consisting of 200 airborne infantry who can be anywhere in the world in under 72 hours.

Ministry of State Declaration:

The Commonwealth of McQuaide, concerned with the great amount of life lost already in this conflict, and concerned for the possibility of loss of civilian lives as the conflict moves closer to populated areas, calls on all states involved in the Lenarch Conflict to declare a temporary cease-fire as of [ 12:01AM EST 6-9-04 Real Time].

Furthermore, the Commonwealth desires to invite representatives of all states involved in this conflict to dispatch negotiation parties of no more than 40 persons to the Commonwealth of McQuaide capital of New Dublin. There, we desire to host a peace summit with the hopes of establishing an amicable peace for all involved.

Although the Commonwealth would encourage with the strongest possible language adherence to the suggested cease-fire, the Commonwealth understands the realities of modern warfare, and will still be willing to host the summit with or without a cease-fire agreement.

All nations involved in this conflict are hereby requested to declare their intentions as soon as possible with regards to the above-mentioned cease-fire agreement and peace negotiations.

the Army and Marine Infantry divisions have began reinforcing the gap between the 2 Severskian Armys, while the Air Force wing and Marine Aircraft provide support, with the Tanks holding strategic points along the allied lines. the UKN Surface ships and Submarines are working in support of the Operation.

Over Haruna;

20 B-83 Peregrine stealth Bombers assinged to the UKN Strategic Weapons command flew in at just 250 feet, at night, traveling at Mach 6, in extremly close formation. an extremly dangerous manuver, but nessacery to Avoide both Radar and SAM Units and Flak. all of the bombers then began "punchout" oprations, where each of the 3 missles carried in the bays where jettisoned at 45 g and Mach 13. just 10 feet above the ground, they ignited there engines as the Bombers sped vertically up towards 115,000 feet. the 60 TACIT Wasp 0.5 kiloton Nuclear Missiles streaked toward there targets; an Airbase in Haruna territory. the missiles exploded soon after with a combined blast of 30 Kilotons (some twice as large as the bomb used on Hiroshima).

The Commonwealth of McQuaide Ministry of Defense External Intelligence Bureau, in cooperation with the Ministry of State and acting in the interest of peace and stability, has at this point identified the following actors as being involved in the ‘Lenarch Conflict:’

The Commonwealth proposes the following format for peace negotiations:

1) All states that enter into negotiations will have the opportunity to offer provisions to the treaty they feel are necessary to satisfy their needs.

2) Negotiators representing the states of Haluna and Sevesky, and negotiators representing rebel forces in Lenarch, being the three parties most invested in the conflict, will each have the opportunity to ‘veto’ whichever provisions of the opposing party which they consider to be unacceptable.

3) The Mediation Team of the Commonwealth of McQuaide will then attempt to synthesize the remaining list of demands into a mutually agreeable document.

4) Any obvious and unavoidable contradictions in the document will be identified by the Mediation Team, and will be discussed by all participants until a solution is agreed upon.

5) When the Mediation Team believes it has synthesized a document representing the wishes of all states involved and free from contradiction, it will present this document to the parties involved. Because the number of states involved in the conflict is unequal, voting shall proceed as follows: Haluna, The Military Totalists, Greater Valia, Sevesky, the Lenarch Rebellion, and Hallad shall be considered voting delegates. Other states involved in the Lenarch Alliance shall work through their voting delegates to communicate their vote. Each voting delegate state will then either vote for or against the document, or abstain from voting. In the case of a tie, the Commonwealth of McQuaide shall cast a vote in favor of the document, on the principal that some peace treaty is better than an open state of war.

6) Should the vote of nations involved in negotiations pass, negotiators representing the states of Haluna and Sevesky, and negotiators representing rebel forces in Lenarch will have an opportunity to ‘veto’ the entire agreement.

7) Should at any time the process be stopped by a ‘veto,’ the process shall begin again at stage 1. Negotiating parties exercising their veto power shall clearly identify their objections, and offer suggested solutions.

8) When and if a treaty document is agreed upon, all signatory states shall be obliged to abide by all provisions of said treaty document.

The Commonwealth of McQuaide shall strive to remain neutral throughout the proceedings, and is prepared to offer to provide observes to ensure the treaty provisions are obeyed.

Should such negotiations commence, we feel it would be prudent for a cease-fore zone of depth approximately ten miles be encorced. This will move all forces out of each other's range (except heavy long-range weapons).

Hallad agrees to these terms and will attend the negotiations.

Meanwhile on the front
More Dracun troops have arrived at the battles that are engulfing Lenarch. 300,000 Infantry and assorted Support groups(Engineers, medic,etc:50,000)to be exact. So far the fleet has yet to encounter naval Battles and hopes to keep it that way. More troops have died an estimated 1,500 more but as of now are holding their ground which is what we have heard so far. But communications are Scrambled and we have yet to decrypt them.

OOC: When are Haruna and Lenarch getting back into this conflict?

UKN Agrees to the cease fire if Haruna does. our troops and tanks are Fortified, and air patrols are still in effecte. all warships are standing by.

It has been observed by McQuaide overhead satellite imagery that hostilities have for the moment come to a temporary hault. It is thus requested by the Ministry of State that states involved in the conflict dispatch their negotiating teams and provide their initial list of conditions.

OOC: Simply post that you dispatch negotiators, and you can either post your conditions on the thread, or if you desire privacy TG them directly to me. Should you not do so, we will assume you desire to abide by the treaty but have no demands of your own, which is fine.

Treaty
-Haruna looses all control of Lenarch. Lenarch will be under Coalition control for 5 years where in time it is protected by a peacekeeping force provided by the Coalition. At the end of the 5 years Lenarch will become a full and independant(sp) state. Haruna is not to attack Lenarch otherwise the Coalition will re-enter the war and "Liberate" Haruna.

-No Coalition member may attack Lenarch otherwise a swift response from Dracun will be met

The Armed Forces of the Commonwealth have checked the Harunaan advance. We are currently holding our line. The 5th Army is in a state of collapse, as it has decintagrated under heavy attack along its length. It has been reenforced with international troops as well as the 7th Marine Division. The right flank has also been held. An offencive shall begin within 48 RL hours.

Received and understood. We have sufficient supply for our units, feel free to use up any surplus we have.

Lenarch would agree to those terms. Lenarch forces are currently holding positions in the east, along the Lenarch-Haruna border that is now the front line there.

Following a 16-8 vote by the congress of the Confederacy of Tiny Prussia, The 5th and 8th infantry brigades (roughly 8,000 men including lightlly armored vehicles)were deployed to Sevesky's zone. They are aboard
C-5 Galaxies. Our fabled Moose-mounted Hussars are also on standby. Please allow our transports to land and if possible direct them to your desired airstrip. Our intentions are to aid Lenarch and it's allies in any way we can militarily if fighting resumes. As we have not previously had any involvement in this conflict we will not be attending the negotiations.

OOC: one question though: why are Lenarch's allies demanding that they have no army in their early years. They need to be able to defend themselves.

The 3rd and 4th brigades (another 8,000 men) have been deployed just behind the 2nd and 8th. We have decided to show mercy and spare the lives that would be taken if we did deploy our Moose-Mounted Hussar cavalry. Again we ask that Seversky allow us to land and again we will not be sending representatives to the negotiations.

We are preparing to begin a limited withdrawl of our fleets stationed in proximity to Lenarch. We will not begin the withdrawl for 48 hours(RL), and it will be canceled if the fighting and/or peace negotiations do not begin. We will withdrawl all but 1 of our fleets and we will reduce that fleet to just a carrier and a small guard.

The Commonwealth of McQuaide appologizes for any delay in the drafting of this peace agreement. The Commonwealth was drawn into an armed conflict that required the sum total of the nation's attention.

DRAFT TREATY

*Preamble

In order to establish a meaningful and lasting peace, the nations involved in armed conflict over the Lenarch province of Haruna agree to the following terms and conditions:

*1) That the Lenarch province be immediately considered a semi-sovereign state, disassociated from all control by the Harunan government. Until the Lenarch province can establish a freely elected government, they will be under the immediate protection of the Lenarch Comapct signatories other than Haruna and her allies.

1a) Until the Lenarch government is considered fully independent, it shall be restricted from organizing any armed militia or military forces other than law enforcement agencies. All external security needs shall be met by the Lenarch Compact signatories other than Haruna and her allies.

1b) That, within five years, the Harunan government hold free and fair elections to determine a government. At that time, the Harunan government shall be considered a free and independent government of a sovereign nation.

*2) That the Harunan government sign immediately an agreement with the signatories of the Lenarch Compact to surrender forever any territorial claims to the Lenarch region, and declare total non-aggression towards any future Lenarch government.

*3) That Haruna cease immediately all combat operations against all other signatories of the Lenarch Compact, and return within one month all prisoners taken in combat operations.

*4) That all signatories of the Lenarch Compact other than Haruna and her allies dedicate at least three but no more than seven standard-sized brigades to the peacekeeping and defense of the Lenarch state for the duration of its time as a semi-autonymous state.

I like it, but i just wanna voice a few suggestion (which probably are stupid and get ignored):

1)Lenarch government should be allowed to rule how ever it wishes(EX: Communist, Nazi, Socialist, Capatilist, Democratic, ect.) and we should not force them to have democratic elections, as long as Lenarch is free from Harunan influence it should be allowed to develop how it wants, without us pushing democracy on them.

2)Lenarch should be allowed to build an army under the following circumstances:
a.This millitary will not be used under any circumstance(barring an outside invasion) for the years under coalition control. This way Lenarch will be able to defend itself without the coalition protecting it.

3)The coalition and Haruna agree to take partial resposibility for any economic disasters Lenarch may have due to absence of Harunan control. And help to curve it by suppling humanitarian aid and possibly monetary aid.

4)The coalition be allowed to station other things in Lenarch(EX: Navy, Airforce), in place of all infantry.

McQuaide the peace agreement you have compiled includes all our wishes and demands, we sign this agreement.

Five standard infantry brigades, one marine brigade and one mobile airbrigade all complete with logistic personal and aircover from the 12th and 13th airwings. These forces have been allocated from the DAF to protect Lenarch.

Our congress agrees with Falltothzu's opinion regarding Lenarch military forces. They should not be restricted to having law enforcement agencies. They must be allowed to create at least a militia. With the absence of a military any nation, including nations dedicating peacekeeping troops, can stage a takeover. Other than section 1a, we agree entirely with the treaty. Because of 1a we are hesitant in sending a representative to sign the treaty.

We retract our previous statement regarding section 1a of the peace treaty. We feel that the the terms are fair and as long as restrictions are not placed on Lenarch concerning law enforcement we will gladly sign.

OoC: As you might have noticed I'm a bit cranky at the moment,

Haruna will not agree with any treaty that grants lenarch its independence. We are currently running a full scale draft (all men and women ages 16-40) and are prepared to fight this out. The Harunan airforce has been commited in full strenght. All 234 "Bear"s of our Strike Command have been assigned to targets within Seversky and Lenarch.

Casulties sustained in war so far total around 10,000 men.

As Haruna has refused to accept treaty talks, we have been forced to uncork our offencive might.

All 5 AirCav Divisions (7th, 17th, 27th, 37th, 47th), All 10 AirBorne Divisions (8th, 9th, 18th, 19th, 28th, 29th, 38th, 39th, 48th, 49th) and 3 Marine Radier Divisions (13th, 17th, 21st) have been moved behind Harunaan lines by helicopter and aeroplane. These units have been tasked with capturing key points all along the front inorder to speed the advance of ground units. This preparation has been made for an assult along the entire front.

The CS Airforce has been unleashed. Stategic Air Command's "Iron Fist" has been given orders to flatten Haruna's capitol tonight. Their means for doing this is provided by CSAF-SAC's 493 B-52D-400's. These will rain down fire on the city in this single raid. After this raid, the force will be divided to strike stategic targets throughout Haruna.

The 5th-7th Infantry brigades (1200 troops) and the 4th tank battalion (300 men) have been flown into Seversky's zone to join the rest of our men. This brings our total up to 3100 men.

Long-range aviation bombers, Tu-160As and Bs and Tu-22M6s, hahve commenced flying sorties against Haruna with AS-15 Kent missiles, armed only with CONVENTIONAL warheads. Short-range strike aircraft (Su-24Ms and MiG-29Ms) are flying attacks against Harunan radar stations and ground forces. Our ground forces, no termed Third Lenarch Liberation Army, are ready for the predicted advance, which will commence on the order of Seversky. At sea, guided-missile cuirser groups are waiting for fleet action, while the CVBG flies sorties against Harunan land forces to soften them up. Losses so far are reported as moderate. At least three regiments of strike aircraft have been reported lost. So far DPUO naval units have escaped destruction, but on the ground the 4th Shock Army has lost many units, at least one division having to be pulled out of the line for rebuilding. However, 3LLA estimates it still has approximately 86% combat effectiveness.

SA-12B long-range high-altitude SAM and SA-11B medium-range/alt SAM systems have been deployed to vital Lenarch targets to defend them from air attacks.

IC: At the DMS controll centre captain Chanel picked up the high priority message from the HQ.
She turned to the opperator behind her as she read the message.
"Ready all long range missles, open silo doors 20 till 95 and ready them for launch, launch codes are in transfer." The operator turned around as he pressed the button for the silo doors to open.
"Launch ET is 45 minuts, we have to change the warheads first ma'am."


OoC: Haruna these are intercontinental missles with convetional warheads, so no biological or radioactive stuff, targeted at military instalations.

Prime Minister Dan Sweeny watched the developments play out in almost real time. He had recently had a 30 foot by 12 foot squad bay dug into one wall of the command center, and furnished with his personal salary. Although an open, common sleeping area, the furnishings were suprisingly comfortable, and the overworked intelligence analysts and communications officers appreciated the occasional chance for a quick nap.

Sweeny had ordered a constant overwatch of the area by RC-135 Rivet Joint Electroni Intel aircraft, E-767 AWACS, and E-8C J-STARS radar aircraft. These were supported by KC-767 tankers, F-35A Joint Strike Fighters flying close escort, and an EC-130J Airborne Command Center that worked to collect the varied data streams from the reconnaissance aircraft, filter out the unimportant elements, and send the rest on to the Joint Command Center.

The McQuaide Self Defense Force Expeditionary Unit, fresh from a victorious engagement against the Generic Empire, was sailing once again, this time to the International waters closest to the battle, in order to monitor the situation and be prepared to render humanitarian aide. Such was advertised openly through press releases and direct notification of all states involved. McQuaide would maintain its neutrality in the conflict, and only act if fired upon.

MINISTRY OF STATE WIRE

As your militaries have probably noted, as of 1340 this afternoon McQuaide air and naval forces have arrived in the region. You should have also noticed that these forces are taking a very passive posture, and are there exclusively to monitor the situation. We are still dedicated to neutrality in this conflict and have no desire to become involved on the behalf of any one side.

The Commonwealth of McQuaide desires to implore the nations involved in the Lenarch Conflict to remain mindful of the Geneva Conventions and Nuremburg codes governing the behavior of all armed parties in conflict.

The CEF (Confederate Expeditionary Force) has been given the go ahead by the congress to begin offensive military actions. The 4th tank battalion, supported by the 2nd and 3rd infantry brigades, has alrady crossed over into Harunan territory. So far they have met no resistance. Their destination is at this time top secret, as is their present location. Also it has been made public that the 4th Ranger Battalion had been shipped over with the first wave of troops. They were droped by helicopter behind enemy lines several hours ago. Out of 12 or so choppers, 3 were lost after the drop off and another 7 or so were damaged. The battalion is curently engaging Harunan infantry and light armor in a small town codenamed smallvillle. Intelligence reported that the town was a being useed as a major ammunition depot. So far Ranger casualties are light with 2 dead and 5 or so wounded.

Avison spun in his chair. "It's confirmed, ready 50 Conventional Geiste-1 ICBM's (It's not nuclear), set the coordinates to the following locations." He handed his comrade a piece of paper and he began typing.

15 minutes later the missiles had launched, heading for Haruna's Millitary installations.

An airbase fifty-seven miles behind the Harunan lines.

Corporal Tern walks along his patrol route at the edge of the airfield, smoking a Lo-Tar.
The only sound is of crickets chirping in the long grass.
Corporal Tern is thinking of his wife, Mallae, and his three-month old son Jacob, far away in some god-forsaken civilian barracks.

The sentry was clearly visible, his smoke blue against the pitch black night. He stomped around making as much noise as a lame cow. Sturmmann Klaus Ruger silently paced his way through the underbrush towards the sentry, barely more than a shadow in his black combats.
Silently, he drew a serrated-back combat knife from its nylon sheath.
The sentry was three feet away now, with his back turned, taking another lungful of smoke.
Three quick strides.
The sentry turned at the noise, only to be rewarded with a black-gloved hand across his neck and a dark steel knife ripping into his gut.
The warm corpse dropped from Ruger's hands and he wiped the combat knife clean on the man's jacket.
His hand was in the air, motioning the all clear.
At three different places around the airfield a total of seventy-nine GSG9 Special Forces Operatives broke from cover and began to sneak towards their designated targets.
Ruger never knew, and never would know about the now Widow Mallae Tern and her young son. He probably wouldn't care if he did, for he was a GSG9'er, and a professional killer.

The Harunaan bomber formation was first detected by blimped based long range radar. The first unit to respond was the 329th Fighter Squadron of the Commonwealth Air Gaurd. All 20 of its JAS 39M Gripens were scrambled at 02:38 hours.

The 329th opened its score with an AIR-2D Genie missile, which blew apart 4 "Bear"s after traveling 10 miles. This would set the pace for the rest of the engagement.

The 746th and 223rd Fighter Squadrons would also engage the Harunaan formation before it would reach its target with their Gripens. In all, 49 bombers would go down before reaching, and 57 would fall before the intercepters broke off.

even though the Weather is Bad, a Regiment (1,000 Men) of Arctic Bear Infantrymen have begun an offensive into Northeastern Haruna, Supported by 10 F-16E Strike Fighters and 15 FROG Tanks. Tactical Carpet Bombing Assualts by B-83 High-Speed Bombers Continue on Air bases and Goverment Targets within Haruna, while the U'Yokanovsk CBG has arived, and is now Bombarding targets in Southern Haruna with Long-Range Assualts by A-3DX Bombers and F-92K Strike Fighters, while the 1,000 Marine Infantrymen hold the lines along with the Army Infantry in Lenerch to stop any Harunan Advance.

4th Ranger Battalion has encountered light armor and Harunan infantry estimated to total 150 men thus far. Fighting is escalating. Depot has been found but is heavily defended. Ranger casualties are 6 dead 7 badly wounded. Heavy Harunan casualties inflicted thus far.

Strike Force beta has engaged several large infantry patrols. Most recently the 4th tank battalion engaged an armored column. Eventually the column was destroyed and 7 tanks were lost with 22 others recieving light-medium damage. Movement of the 4th Battalion and the 3rd infantry brigade has been suspended due to terrible weather conditions. Elements of the second brigade have mvoed out to take a radar station.

HM Orlucker returned to his leather chair. He sat stareing at his hands. In less then 10 minutes he will have steered Haruna into nuclear war.


8 minutes and 30 seconds later the first salvo of missiles had begun. The 91 Hellbringer missiles each contained 5 reentry moduals, each containing a nuclear warhead. These reentry moduals steered in groups of 5 to make pattern strikes on a city in either Dumpsterdam or DPUO.

4th Ranger Battalion has confirmed that the ammunition depot has been taken. The main enemy force was decimated. THe battalion is now mopping up.

4th tank battalion engaged an attacking armored column around 0530. Slightly larger than the first. Column was destroyed around 0645. 2nd Brigade Elements sucessfully captured the radar station several hours ago. Heavy casualties. 3rd brigade engaged an especially large Harunan infantry unit with several light vehicles. The enemy unit sustained heavy losses and retreated around 0730.

Air support for the opperation is being provided by the 2 CSAF COIN wings (equipt with JOV-1As, OA-2s, SF.260Ws, EMB-312s, SAAB 105s, Hawk 200s, as well as the good old A-1 Skyraider), The 312th Bomb Wing's B-26Ks, as well as jets not commited to Angelic Upstart, such as F/A-18Ds, A-10s, Harrier GR.Mk 8s, AC-130s, F-111Fs, and A-6Fs.

As soon as they arrive General Lacroix has ordered that the Confderate Expeditionary Force be mobilized and prepared for Offensive Bravo, a land offensive by the entire force (18,230 infantrymen and 51 tanks). It's primary objective is to destroy a major Harunan fortress that is shielded from airstrikes. It's secondary objective is to clear out the "cobra strip" of fiercely loyal harunan villages.

Harunan troops have been put in a state of disarray by the sudden appearence of hundreds of Severskian soldiers appearing behind the front lines. The first enemy troops begain appearing about an hour ago, and had much initial sucess due to the fact that they supirsed the racoon piss out of the entire Harunan Army.

Confusion is still high among the army units on the front lines, since it isnt certin where all of the Severskian units are. Concerted counterattacks have begun against the major concentrations of Severskian paras. Casulties so far from the attack total about 2500 men.

Offensive Bravo commenced at 1900 (eastern-standard real time). The 2nd, 3rd, and 8th infantry brigades, with support from elements of the 5th tank battalion, immediatly advanced on the towns codenamed Cobra blue and Cobra green. Resistance has been heavy but the enemy is mainly militia and they are disorganized and disperse easily. Are men have faced only a handful of armored vehicles. All of them light tanks. The two villages are nearly cleared with several pockets of resistance in each.

Meanwhile the 4th tank battalion, 3rd infantry brigade, 4th Ranger battalion, and 9th infantry brigade began the assault on "Fort Cobra" alittle over 25 minutes ago. It is heavily defended and our heavy tanks managed to punch a small hole in the outer defenses just 7 minutes ago. Casualties are high.

The remainder of the 5th tank battalion is holding back to guard the force's rear.

The 1st Birgade of the 23rd Hessen Armored Division has been ordered to crush the Tiny Prussian assult. The 23rd consists of 250 M-1 Abrams tanks, along with 1500 infantrymen equipt with M-16A-1s.

The 1st Battalion of the 4th Marine Division has been detailed with reenforceing Tiny Prussia's position. The 1st/4th is commanded by one Col. Richard McGroarty, a recent transfer from the 3rd Marine Divsion.

The 5th Army Group has been removed from the front line and been replaced by the newly formed 6th Army group.

The current Severskian line consists of (east to west): 1st Army Group, 3rd Marine Division, 2nd Army Group, 4th Marine Division, 3rd Army Group, 4th Army Group, 5th Marine Division, 7th Marine Division, 6th Army Group. The 1st, 2nd, and 6th Marine Divisions are currently being held in reserve, along with the entire 5th Army Group, which is being reorganised.


The entire Severskian line surged forward. A full advance had been ordered as part of Opperation Blood for Blood. This is the largest single offencive in Commonwealth history. 10 Armored Divisions, 20 Mech Divisions, and 5 Heavy Mech Divisions composed the Army portion of the offencive. 4 Marine Divisions also contribute to the attack.

Ground forces have already begun to link up with the shallower Airborne and AirCav units, and the ground push is being sped up by this.

The ground offencive shall contine to push untill all of the Airborne and AirCav units have been assimilated into the line. The Airborne and AirCav units will then go into reserve.

A Harunan attack came without warning around 0700. Enemy armor apparently spearheaded the attack. General Lacroix ordered an immediate withdrawal (the forces here are codenamed strike force delta) from Cobra blue and Cobra Yellow (cobra green had been taken about an hour prior). The force assaulting Fort Cobra (codenamed strike force charlie) also executed a withdrawal from the fortress. Luckily they had done enough damage there that the fortress had lost power and it's defenses were in shambles.
Units converged in a rocky and forested patch of land and set up a defensive position. Lacroix's advisors argued against the move as it goes against army doctrine (the best defense is a good offense) but he took no heed. The entirety of the enemy force pursued our retreating troops. They launched a fairly heavy bombardment of our positions but little casualties were inflicted.
When they came into range our tanks opened up on their own abrams tanks. However our armor was vastly outnumbered. But once their infantry and tanks moved in closer our own infantry troops opened up using mortars, machineguns, RPG's, anti tank rockets, and anything else they had laying around. They decimated the harunan infantry but enemy armor was still abundant.
A surprise attack from the 5th tank battalion that had been holding back gave our troops brief relief. Just enough for them to regroup and form a more defensive position. However the battalion was compeltely decimated and when it tried to retreat it was cornered by Harunan armor and completely destroyed. Only the 5th battalion elements with strike force delta remained.
Finally after almost three and a half hours of fighting and several small harunan infantry reinforcements Seversky's troops arrived. attacking Haruna's left flank. Seversky's overwhelming numbers forced Harunan troops into a retreat. Seversky's sudden attack gave our men a chance to set up on a higher position. When the retreating Harunans came into view they opened on them with enough anti tank rounds to wipe out a division sized force. The remnants of the Harunan attack force retreated towards the direction of ruined Fort Cobra. The CEF has regrouped (and codenamed strike force echo) and is calling for armored support from Seversky to launch a final offensive on Fort Cobra. If the capture of the Fort goes as planned Offensive Bravo will resume.

Total Offensive Bravo losses so far: 2097 dead, 3043 wounded, 43 tanks lost.

Harunan losses in the battle of the Stone Woods (based on number of dead found): 1023 men and 212 tanks

To make up for Confederate losses the 10th infantry brigade and 3rd tank battalion (4000 men 40 tanks) have been deployed to Lenarch.

Today is the Confederacy's bloodiest single engagement of the conflict so far. Flags throughout the nation have been lowered to half staff for the remainder of the day.

4th Shock Army and 6th Army were issued advance orders at 04:30. Within 20 minutes they were making a massive attack on the battered Harunan forces. Over 1,000 guns and 400 MRLS systems pounded relentlessly at a front barely 6 miles long, after which the ground forces, consisting of tanks, followed by infantry, followed by BMP-3s, attacked the Harunan lines head-on under the cover of heavy air support from Su-33s and Su-39s flying from the nearby carrier. Helicopters also accomplished successful vertical envelopments of the enemy forces in four locations, dropping in each case approximately 90 Spetznaz troops behind Harunan lines who set about disrupting communications and supply, though these came at great cost to the helicopter units involved (3 squadrons of eight attacking were destroyed and another 2 reduced to 50% strength).

The Harunan Army has been struck a heavy blow. Already almost 50 miles have been lost everywhere along the front. For the first time, Harunan troops are no longer holding enemy territory.

The Harunaan Army has suffered massive casulties in its retreat, as Severskian air attacks and ground pressure contine to were away at our numbers. The draft ages have been extended and new manufacture has been ordered to keep up with losses.

Over 10,000 men were lost the first day alone. Losses will continue to run high untill the Severskian army can be checked. The joint chief's are working on it, and His Majesty is threatening to have them all beheaded if they dont succeed soon.

IC: Today in the Nation of Lenarch, a massive celebration has been staged across the land, as Harunaan troops have been pushed out of Lenarch for the first time. The newly elected president of Lenarch pinned a metal on the over all comanding officer of the Severskian Army, as well as the commander of the 1st Lenarch Division. The President also presented a token of appriciation to the leader of Seversky, Chancellor James Lynch.

Lenarch wishes to thank all other nations that are participateing in the war for our independence. We are indebted to you for our ablity to breath free.

The tiny military of Lenarch has contributed an entire Division to the offencive, and will contribute more as more troops compleate training.

As the Harunan forces retreat, DPUO forces keep up the pressure. However they are forced to halt by Harunan forces making attacks in second-eheclon and supply units moving to the front. The Fourth Shock has taken 8% losses, the Sixth Army 10% losses. The carrier flight groups have been depleted by 27%, and helicopter units by 40%. Supply units are under fire from roving Harunan infantry and tanks that have been bypassed, though these are being slowly eliminated. Howvere they scored a notable victory in destroying successfully no less than thirty trucks moving fuel and ammunition to the Sixth Army, resulting in a worrisome fuel and ammo shortage.

The Commonwealth of McQuaide has recieved word that the Harunan Government is willing to negotiate a peace settlement.

Before any more lives are lost on either side, the McQuaide government calls upon all parties to recognize an immediate cease-fire to allow for negotiations. Furthermore, the Commonwealth calls upon all states to cease movements of men or machinery into the combat area, in order to de-escalate the conflict.

McQuaide reconnaissance aircraft are still operating in the theatre, and can ensure that no side is able to achieve an unfair advantage in this conflict.

CNS Cadence to Arms and CNS Outcast CVNCBGs, which are supported by the escort carriers CNS St. Lô, CNS Gambier Bay, CNS Liscome Bay, CNS Ommaney Bay, CNS Bismark Sea, and CNS Thetis Bay. These carriers and their escorts have arrived on station near Haruna’s colony of Résuitat.

Contained within this fleet are the 12th and 13th Marine Divisions. Landing opperations shall take place after the bombardment, within 3 days.

The combined fleet has lent its guns to the shore bombardment, while the EA-135Cs, Intruders, and Vigilantes of the fleet carriers and the EA-135Cs and Bs of the escort carriers carry out inland strikes against key targets. RA-5 Vigilantes have revealed the presence of very few Harunan troops.

On the mainland, the offencive continues. Over 75 miles have been taken in some places, while in others resistance has mounted enough to stop the advance momentarilly. CSAF-SAC continues to mount large, widespread air raids against any Harunaan target's that are worth while. Already large scale destruction has been wrought over Haruna's more major cities, with concentrated air raids.

Ground forces have been aided by air units, namely tank busting F-111Fs and A-10s. CAG Gripens have downed several Harunaan aircraft. Airforce F/A-18s are top scorers though, haveing downed 93 intercepters while they were on escort duty under opperation Angelic Upstart.

Ground losses have been particularly heavy, to the number of 12,032 men and 274 tanks. Air losses are marginal. 32 B-52Ds, 27 F-111Fs, 54 A-6s, 42 Gripens, 49 F/A-18s, 23 Tomcats, 12 A-10s and 28 Su-37s.

We will not request reparations of any kind from Haruna, if only to aid the possible peace deal.

Offensive Bravo resumed at 2300 yesterday. Strike Force Echo launched an all out asault on the remanants of Fort Cobra. Resistance was fairly light. Fighting ceased within 1.5 hours. Total losses were 27 dead and 59 wounded with 3 tanks lost. We confiscated at least 200 assault rifles, 75 rpg launchers, 70 anti tank rocket launchers, and one nuclear warhead found in a secret room in the basement of the Fort.

Around 0300 4th Ranger battalion scouts located several Major Harunan supply columns and infantry columns. The Strike Force (excluding the 5th tank battalion and 8th infantry brigade who remained to guard the fort) wasted no time at all and immmediatly launched attacks on the flanks of the columns. Striking hard and quickly the Harunan's became disoriented. At about 0415 two enemy infantry columns came in as reinforcements. Fighting lasted until exactly 0638. There was never constant combat. Within two hours after the beginning of the fighing the Harunan colmuns had become completely splintered and fighting consisted of small to large firefights that were scattered over 2 square miles.

Rather than retreating, in a valiant show of courage and loyalty, the Harunans fought to the last man. Enemy losses totalled nearly 6,500 infantry men and around 100 vehicles. CEF losses totalled not quite 1,200 men and 15 tanks lost. The CEF now prepares for offensive Charlie which is to commence early this evening.

Congres has also voted not to request and reperations from Haruna. If a cease-fire is agreed to we will comply but until then we will continue offensive combat operations.

The offensive resumed with another heavy artillery bombardment, followed by a large tank assault backed up by Mi-24s and Su-39s. Su-33 interceptors, aided by AAA systems, have downed over forty enemy aircraft for the loss of ten of their own. Harunan forces are reported to be resisting but unable to stop advancing DPUO units, which are often pushing through by weight of fire. As 4th Shock is advancing more rapidly than 6th Army, 4th Shock's tank division, so far kept in reserve, is no being used to outflank the Harunan forces facing 6th Army. Current ground forces losses are reported as 30%, and air forces between 40 and 50%. It is clear that the reserve unit, 5th Army, must be engaged soon, but the Harunan airforce has temporarily halted the offensive.

Offensive Charlie began at 1730 with Strike Force Echo (minus 9th/10th infantry brigades) launching an assault on one of the weakest parts of Haruna's center left flank. The assault was supported by the 3rd, 4th, and 5th tank battalion firing on the Harunan lines from a pair of hills. After only 10 minutes of fighting the Harunan's broke ranks and began a fighting withdrawal. They are on the run and the Strike Force is preparing to move on Haruna's 8th largest city codenamed "number 8". The 2nd and 3rd Bomber Squadrons (30 planes) are preparing to launch preemptive bombing strikes on military and governemnt faciailties. The strikes will continue until either Strike Force echo reaches "Number 8" or a cease-fire is called.

The Army of Haruna has stoped running. It is holding its ground.

A reenforced airforce consisting of some of the world's best pilots and the best machines have secured a reprieve for the Army. And so has the weather. A huge front has moved in, bringing with it massive thunderstorms all across the continent.

Harunan troops are taking advantage of the weather to dig in and reenforce battered units.

The Army of Haruna has dug in along a line of ridges that strech across Haruna from one coast to the other. [b]The Army will stand here or it will die here, but it will not give one more inch.

The Commonwealth Military, haveing outrun its own supply lines by a long shot, have proceeded to dig in along a front parrallel to the Harunaan lines. They are awaiting resupply and replacements before continueing the advance.

OOC:Alright I'll leave but I don't see how I don't have enough money. A 29 million population and a strong economy? I haven't even sent in a quarter million men.

IC:Following heavy Harunan reinforcements constantly pouring ino the city and tough resistance from Harunan civilians the CEF was forced to pull out of "Number 8" and ultimately the conflict itslef. General Lacroix stated that the decision was voted by the congress very early this morning. General Lacroix also stated that "...too many lives have been lost fighting for the freedom of a country so far away".
All troops withdrew from the city earlier this afternoon and are 1.5 hours away from embarkation and the return to Tiny Prussia. As was stated earlier the congress has decided not to request any reparations.
