In the Kingdom of FluffyCat, 5 divisions of the army (about 90,000 soldiers), under the leadership of General Hans Von Manstein have mutinied against King Ferdinand Emanuel II and those forces still remaining loyal to him. Currently there are about 150,000 soldiers in the FluffyCat Army. Approximately 90,000 have sided with General Manstein. The General proclaimed a commonwealth and an end to the monarchy. The main reasons behind the uprising according to the General are that the king is insane and is leading the nation down the path of ruin. He also stated that the policies of the king were detrimental to the continued existence of the nation of FluffyCat. The General declared himself the “Lord Protector” of FluffyCat; he then declared the monarchy dissolved. He also stated there would be the formation of a Commonwealth. Thus started the Fluffy civil war.

Meanwhile in his palace, the king, who was playing with plastic toy soldiers, ordered his main general to mobilize hundreds of divisions. The General was too afraid to tell his king there weren’t even that many people in the nation. Instead the General just nodded and said “Yes liege.”

Outside CatNipBag in the nearby forests swinging from trees were the bodies of dozens royal city officials. The Tax collectors, the sheriffs, the robber barons were also hanged. None of the kings goons was spared.

The crisp crack of AK-47 fire was the only reply given to the cries of "mercy" or "spare me" from the various royalist soldier.

A lone royalist soldier made a run for it out the back of town. A nationalist captain steadied one foot one his jeep and leaned into his rifle. He eased the trigger on his M1-A rifle. The .308 round hit the royalist square through the heart, the man flipped over forwards, he was dead before he hit the ground. The captain admired his rifle; he was the only man in his unit who carried a .308, all the other soldiers carried 7.62mmx39. But he would do things his way, he was the captain of the company. He thought about how damned sweet his rifle was as he walked into the center of town, he slung his rifle over his shoulder and took out a small flask. He took a quick swig from the flask and proceeded to continue his walk. He heard the sounds of crows; "The crows will feast good tonight" he thought. The crows always feast good after a battle.


Meanwhile in the capital, King Ferdinand Emanuel II declared tomorrow to be a day of mourning for the frog he accidentally stepped on earlier that morning.

Grand Prince Dmitri Skeelzot I flipped through his morning breifing. Several dozen pages of intelligence reports, requests for audiences, and a crossword. The hasty flipping of pages stopped, and the Prince's eyes quickly scanned the page. "Hmmm...Tarl, call in the Ministers."

Twenty minutes later, the Ministers of Skeelzania and their Prince were seated at the War Table. Currently, it was projecting a 3-D map of the Kingdom of FlufflyCat. Dmirti watched the small explosions, representing battles, flash over the map. "Modern tech you say? Still planet-locked?" A field marshal to his left nodded. "Interesting. Might provide as a useful exercise for our troops. Yes...Give the orders to mobolize the 86th and 87th Infantry Divisions, and the 4th Panzer. Attach a helicopter wing as well. Our technology isn't much farther than theres, so we shouldn't screw up their techno-evolution too much. Also, I want a press release by 1000 hours..."

Although our ancestors left Earth generations ago, we still retain an interest in our terran cousins. We have been monitoring recent unrest in the nation of FluffyCat, and have decided that the rebels there need our support. To that end, the Grand Prince has organized the Skeelzanian Expeditionary Force, or SEF, to travel back to Earth and assist them...[/code:1:7c45c0e303]

The giant transport exited from hyperspace in low orbit, directly over FluffyCat. Its ECM was running full blast, no sense in scaring the entire planet. Dropships began detaching from the mothership's bottom, who then proceeded down to the planet's surface.

Landing in remote areas, the Skeelzanians rapidly deployed their forces, the dropships rocketing back into space as soon as they deposited their cargo.

The SEF's leader, General Char, fired off a commique to the rebel leader, General Manstein.

"General Manstein, leader of the FluffyCat Commonwealth, we greet you. We have been sent by a foreign power to assist you in your revolution against the corrupt monarchy. Our offer is this: we hereby volunteer for service in the Commonwealth Army. We will normally act autonomously, though any order you give us will be obeyed. Upon succesful completion of the war, we can assist in rebuilding the country, in exchange for economic benefits to our homeland of Skeelzania.

According to our maps, we are several dozen miles away from the capital, and can begin offensive operations immediatly. "

Meanwhile the king plays with his toys.

Char grinned as he read Manstein's response. He turned to his aides de camp, quickly sending them scurrying off with orders. The General had given them a free reign in the country, a Char intended to demonstrate the capabilites of the Skeelzanian Army to the world...

At the make-shift heliport, a flight of 12 Harbinger helicopters whined to life. 8 of the craft were carrying napalm and HE bombs, while the remaining 4 were equipped with rocket pods. The field commander gave the signal, and the 12 birds lifted into the air and sped off towards the capital.

Thundering over the landscape of Fluffycat, the Harbingers flew only 150 feet in the air. Their target was the suburbs of TreatBag, their mission was to sow fear. One of the pilots crackled over the radio that the city was insight. Within 15 minutes they would be over the outer limits. The Flight Leader wondered if the Kitties had any AAA....

King Ferdinand Emanuel II declared that the Royalist navy should set sail to catch some tuna for his lunch.

The royalists were fleeing for the hills in droves, taking off their uniforms and dropping their weapons. They were hoping to escape and to be able to blend in elsewhere. But there are the royalist dead, droves of them, if all their collective memories were added up they would fill a library many times over. But now there are enough bodies to fill the trees of the forests many times over. The crows would feast well, the stench of death would pervade in the area for months.

The Nationalists would ask for no quarter, and they would give none, they hanged every male royalist they captured.


Their army would be poised to march on the capital in 3 days. The capital was lightly defended as most royalists had fled the region. There were a few guards units of the king and his secret police. They would likely fight to the death. The king however didn't fully realize what was going on. All he had been told by his top general was that, "Bad people are coming to try to steal your crown." Since he heard that he locked his crown in a wall safe..

General Hans Von Manstein, spoke to the royalist army in the capital and said that, "If you abandon your posts and reject Ferdinand Emanuel, you will be treated with kindness and charity."

Several hundred Royalist conscripts who appeared to be tempted by the offer were shot dead by Royal Secret Police and Royal Special Operations Forces. Their bodies were strung up on traffic lights to serve as a warning for others.

On request of the Nationalist rebels, Dumpsterdam has send a special forces team to take care of the troublesome king, a specialy modifed C180 Hercules will be landing on a Nationalist airport soon.

A message reaches the FluffyCat HQ(not the rebels) in the morning:

"Dear emperor of FluffyCat, we have heard of the rebellion in your country and the people themselves cannot rule in a democratic government. We have therefore decided to send Taskforce 5 containing our 1st and 2nd marine, 5th Parachute, 3rd infantry, 7th, 8th and 9th mechanized and 2nd and 6th panzer divisions. The 5th fighter- and 8th bomber- divisions will also be there.
We estimate that the first divisions will be at you in 3hours. /General Axelius High Com. of the Military Totalists."

The Totaliterion Emperor, Jason Thomas, has mobilized 2 million troops, and 16,000 T-101 tanks. They will arrive in Fluffycat within2 RL hours

A comunications officer walked up to the Lord Commander, handing him a dataslate wich was marked high priority.

Starting the transmission Rift looked on in amusement, he signaled for his aide Smith and handed him a piece of paper containing several writen texts and his signature.

"Deploy our main forces to Fluffycat, inform the Nationalists of the enemy's aproach it seems like we'll have crush another nation first to get rid of there king. TMT has been deploying forces to Fluffycat, they shall be given ONE warning." His aide bowed and took the piece of paper and then walked off.

Offical communications to TMT: Our recon satalites have spotted your forces moving towards Fluffcat. Stand down your armed forces, lest you want to become the target of our attention.

OC: I'm waiting for Fluffy's confirmation on this, I'm not letting 2 million troops enter that country without knowing for sure. Oh and for the thing below, I have permission from Fluffycat to RP this.

IC: After been airlifted into one of the Nationalist airports, striketeam INVICTUS has been airlifted near the capital, nationalist spies helped them get into the city under the disguise of a group of Red Cross employies.

"Did you hid the weapons in the trunk Qal?" Aras looks to the driver of the jeep, Qal looks back and nods. "Yeah, everything is locked down, I'm only carrying this pistol for now." Aras nodded and concetrated on the road ahead.

A short drive later they arrive at one of the main checkpoints, the kings secret police turning every part of the cars inside out to search for anything that should not be there. Fortunatly several defecting officers had taken the weapon stashes from the vehicles to the palace, putting them in a large dumpster on the frontside of the palace. The secret service found nothing and allowed the "Red Cross" to enter the city.

Aras sighed and gave his driver the high five. "Suckers....proceed directly to the palace, where suposed to set up camp there, not that we'll need a camp..." He grinned to Qal.
He took up his radio. "Okay just like we practiced, first team take up firebase near the main gate, second team take up rooftop position accros the palace and get rid of those rooftop secret service agents, third team with me up the palace steps and into the kings room, we have orders to terminate him." His orders where confirmed by the other squad leaders as the 5 vehicle long convoy stopped infront of the palace and exited like civilians. Soon as the dumpster came into sight Aras dove into it, throwing out bags containing weapons as his men tore off there red cross uniforms revealing flack jackets and bulletproofvests.

"Right go go go!" The men picked up there weapons and took up position, second squad quickly coverd the small distance to the other side of the street as the third squad bashed its way into the courtyard, rushing onto the steps to the main doors as the first squad gave covering fire.

A bloodbath ensued, secret service men opend fire, most of them only armed with pistols or a rare H&K. The striketeam was better equiped; m4's, mp5's and automatic shotguns, as the first squad broke down the main door they spread out through the building. With all resistance broken in the palace small groups of royal troops started arriving only to find themselfs under fire from the rooftops and from the main gate.

"Qal, this door is locked I think we found him!" Aras placed a small amount of C4 on the doorlock stuck in a blasting cap and stepping back a good ten meters and pressed the charger, the door being blown of its hinges.
Qal saw two secret servive men storm through the door, he raised his mp5 and shot them both, there bodies falling down with a heavy thump.
Qal shouted to Aras. "You go first, I'll cover." Aras nodded and charged in, only to find a old man standing there infront of a small wall safe.
In his hands was clutched a revolver and his eyes where alit with fire as he screamed at Aras. "Rebel scum you shall not have my crown!" He fired and the bullet struck the wall next to Aras, he tried to fire again but the bullets from Aras's m4 had already punctured his heart and brains. The old man fell, his blood trickeld over the floor onto the white marble, the striketeams job was done.

Seven strikeforce members had been killed and another 9 injured, secret service casaulties littered the courtyard, nobody had or wanted to count the dead and so they just lay there. Strikeforce members secured the perimeter of the palace, royalist forces could show up at any time now and Aras had wanted to be prepared for there arrival.

Both Aras and Qal walked over the roof of the palace, both carrying a flag, they both hoisted it to the top of the dual flagpoles standing there.
One flag portraited the Mark of Dumpsterdam and the other showed the Nationalist sign, the palace was captured. Now they only had to hold out till the main DAF forces retook the city or untill the Nationalists did wich shoudn't be hard since the back of the royalists moral had been broken.

King Ferdinand Emanuel II continued to play with his toy soldiers despite the gunfire and explosions going on around him. When hit guards ran out to try to stop the attackers he asked, "Are they here to steal my crown?" Then he pulled out a pistol that somebody gave him. Why anybody would trust him with a gun I don't know.

400 of the Royalist Praetorian Guards arrive from their barracks about 5 blocks away. Combined with 2,000 Royalist soldiers, 400 police, and 135 secret police they take up positions around the palace.

Aras removed the sigar from his mouth, looking at the forces surrounding the palace, he picked up the satalitephone standing next to him and dialed DAF HQ.

"This is captain Aras, target neutralized but enemy has us surrounded in the palace, we require all available support from nearby DAF forces commander." He looked through his binoculars once more, seeing a few tanks take up position at a crossroad 900 meters away.
The satalitephone clicked, signaling that a responce was ready from HQ.

"All DRA aircraft are making all haste towards your position, two of our modified C130 strategic air gunships are on a ETA of 6 minuts, they are engaging everything outside the palace walls and the targets you give them. Good luck Captain Aras, you're going to need it." The line clicked again and Aras placed the horn back on its standard, signaling for two of his men to drop the body of the dead king outside the main gate.

As his men dropped the dead king outside the gate for all royalist forces to see, five chinooks where making there way to the city, three loaded with shocktroops from the DAF, one empty and one even had a light tank dangeling beneath it while the transport contained a group of army engineers mainly armed with AT rifles.
Another two hundred to reinforce the palace and a Mechanized division was smashing its way into the suburbs when royalist forces retreated and surrounded the palace.

Aras picked up his voxcaster and spoke to the royalist forces.
"Royalists, your king is dead, his rain of ignorance has ended and the people come to claim wat is theirs, whe the nation of Dumpsterdam have headed there words and as we speak our forces are smashing into this city. I will give you a change to surrender..." He was cut short by a pistolshot near the royalist lines, a secret police officer stepped forward and yelled back. "We shall never surrender and anyone failing to do his duty will be shot!" The men around him looked shocked as he pointed the pistol at all of them, Aras laughed as he heard the man speak."Your king is dead, wat duty remains here?" The mutter from the lines grew louder as the policemen finaly shot a man trying to argue with him, Aras nodded to his sniperteam, the policeman dropped, blood rushing out of his torso where the sniperround had hit him.

At the same time a missle streaked from the heavens and struck a nearby tank and Aras asked again. "Surrender and you will not be harmed or fight and die at our hands." He put away the voxcaster and orderd his men to stand there ground.

Dumpsterdam will you allow my troops and tanks to enter the country?

If you try ANYTHING thats even remotely considerd a threat to my forces or the citizens of my country or those of Fluffycat I'm going to make sure you are blasted back to the stoneage.

For the rest, no problems but 2 million should realy be your limit on defence personal, keep it realistic or nobody will actualy be wanting to fight with or against you :wink:

I'm willing to let you enter with about....100.000 men at first, there's no need and no time to deploy such a large force to Fluffycat anyway.
Compare that to my troops already in this country, wich are only about 250.000 or so.

Today the 16th mechanised Regiment has taken the capital city of Fluffycat, its crazy monarch has been assasinated by special forces units.
Royal forces made a ditch effort to make a last stand in the capital but the assasination broke the moral of royalist forces and the 16th mechanised regiment was able to capture the city intact with only small losses. Dumpsterdanian forces will take temporary controll of the country while Nationalist officals rush to form a emergency goverment and prepare for ellections.

A statement from Lord Commander Rift was given out this day at the Palace of Hades:
"Though we are a monarchy ourselfs, we will act against all that neglect there people. This act was the first but not the last, the world will hear more from us."

The army has named General Hans Von Manstein as the president of FluffyCat.


The President's new party, the Christian Nationalist Reform Party is expected to sweep Parliament elections in the Parliamentary elections scheduled for 2 days from now.

We the nation of Dumpsterdam recognize Hans Von Manstein as the nation's new leader, Dumpsterdam forces will remain in the country untill the entire nation is under the controll of the new goverment and its armed forces are once again ready to defend the country. All other country's are urged to withdraw there armed forces.

Normaly...for a nation with a large army, that would 2% or so on active duty and another 2% in reserve. Simple guidelines.

All key cities in FluffyCat were renamed to reflect their new leader, Hans von Manstein. The old leader (the crazy king) thought he was a cat, and that is why many of the city names reflected such.


The capital of FluffyCat is now Mansteinburg.

All key royalists were offered the chance to join the nationalists in rebuilding the nation.

The National Reformist Party (A combination of labor reformers, moderate left wingers, moderate right wingers, and some theocrats) has declared Hans Von Manstein the party leader.

President Hans Von Manstein spoke to the nation via the government press he stated, “We will now set about building a state where free enterprise and equality are king. We move forward now under the guiding principles that all men are created equal. I urge the Council of Learned Elders to help pass Civil Rights Legislation. If they pass it, I will sign it into law.” Note that Manstein is only suggesting Civil Rights to gain votes, he doesn’t really like the people he is suggesting the government help (Sort of like Lyndon Johnson)




The extreme elements of the right wing are the States Rights Reformists under the leadership of a state governor, Hector Leonidas (35), a man descended from Greeks who immigrated to America in the mid-late 1800s, his grandparents left America after it became in their words, “Too left wing.” His party is based largely on the National Socialism in its earlier years.

The official platform of his party calls for the total sealing of all national borders, the expulsion of all non-whites, there are 1,000,000 non-whites in the entire nation, the reform of business practices, the subordinating of business to serve the state, the increased freedom of the states, the increasing of the armed forces, the abolition of most weapons restriction laws, the harsh curtailment of the drug trade, the ending of abortion, and several other key policies.

In the last 3 elections Leonidas was defeated, but he has gained increasing support. 9 years ago in his first attempt to run for president, he won 8% of the vote. 6 years ago in his second attempt, he won 12%. 3 years ago in his third and most recent attempt, he won 27% of the vote. The upcoming election is projected to be very close; observers say it could go either way. In the last two elections National Reformists and States Rights Reformists clashed in the street battles.

Right before the last election, States Rights Reformists clashed with the police and the National Reformists. They fled after several hundred of the city police sided with the National Reformists. Then when three nearby county sheriff departments sided with the States Rights Reformists the battles started anew. 2 Army brigades had to be called into to stop the violence that ultimately claimed over 2,000 lives.

In the last election there were widespread accusations that States Rights Reformists members intimidated non-party members away from polls. There were several thousand reports of men in paramilitary style garb with military style rifles chasing people away from the polls.

Governor Leonidas speaking to a large crowd in the streets of Mansteinburg attacked President Manstein’s Civil Rights platform. When asked by a man in the crowd what President Manstein meant by Civil Rights, Governor Leonidas had the following to say.

"It simply means that it's another effort on the part of this president to dominate the country by force and to put into effect these uncalled for and these damnable proposals he has recommended under the guise of so-called civil rights. And I tell you the Fluffite people from one side or the other had better wakeup and oppose such a program and if they don't the next thing will be a totalitarian state in these united states."

After the speech some 5,000 armed States Rights Reformists in camouflage clothing with their faces covered by black ski masks paraded through the streets of Mansteinburg. They chanted their party motto, “For the purity of our race.” Reportedly several hundred left-wingers counter marched the States Rights Reformists. Also there were reports of cars without license plates and full of masked armed men seen driving around the city during the rally. Apparently they were taking pictures of counter-marchers.

It remains unclear how the upcoming election will go.

The States Rights Reformist Party will be running Governor Hector Leonidas.

The National Reformist Party will be running President Hans Von Manstein.

The Socialist Coalition Party will be running Party Secretary Hasdrubal Malchus.

The Black Power Party will be running Reverend Booker Jackson.

The Prohibition Party will be running “Lemonade” Leon Berry. (Basically a one-issue party)
