How would such a weapon work? What would make the bullets follow a curved track?

I'm not sure how it worked, but its been done. The Germans developed a similar weapon near the end of WWII and actually used it IIRC. They had problems with the barrel burning out after only a relatevily few shots though.

I believe it works by releasing gas as it goes through the bend and as such the bullet velocity once it exits is much less.

the ammo is standard ammo for an ak-47 but a bit modified the barrel is tracked with a tight circular spiral and the ammo its self has gruves that match the spiral formation. and to
"I'm not sure how it worked, but its been done. The Germans developed a similar weapon near the end of WWII and actually used it IIRC. plus what the guy above me said. the barrel does not release gas as it does through the gas is used as a cooling agent in the barrel to help with overheating for the shooter.
