i tried opening one yesterday that ended in a miserable failure. so i was just wondering if veterans of that sort of thing could give me suggestions, how much things should be priced, etc. (c'mon, im a n00b! :( )

What audience are you aiming at? If its young nations then you want low prices. If its bigger, then you want medium prices. But not to high, then people won't buy. And pictures would also be nice. (Or a link to pictures.)http://www.nationstates.net/forum/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif

It would help to know the location of your old storefront, to evaluate it and see where the faults were in it, if there were any.

I am future tech. What products do have for sale? Is it weapons or ships?

Well, that's part of the problem: the future-tech market's already very, very cramped. There's already three excellent and distinct ship storefronts and they're all nipping at each other for the market. Unless you're marketing something refreshingly new and well-packaged, you're in for slim pickings.

There's an exponentially larger market for modern tech stuff, however.

Hmm, they would have to be of unusual and interesting design.

And I stand corrected; I thought Klonor's was still kicking around(okay, it wasn't all that impressive, but at 1700+ replies it got attention). Those are the most thorough I've managed to dredge up, thus far. I'll keep digging, though.

It's good, you could also post the stats of it in your storefront.

Sometimes, it's completely unknown why people don't buy. On all mine, I have things stating that I won't sell rediculous amounts. People like to buy en mass. I never sell.........

Yes, stats are easy, just think how big the item is and make up like what weapons a item that size would have, or fast it moves.

how much would you price those hardsuits for? and are they future, or near future tech?

I'd say 2015, so I would price them each at 2 million each...
